Wonderful review! I purchased a PMD device, three months ago, for myself (61yrs). My experienced with the device after 2 months of DAILY use, is a smooth, softer more even appearance. However, your review is absolutely correct... in that the device does not eliminate red spots or minimize pores and has poor suction on certain spots (forehead). BTW... I used the green sanding pegs. Thank you, so much for the time you commit to providing what I consider valuable information.

Your honesty is refreshing as so many others here on YT have very little integrity. A friend of mine who is 60 said it destroyed her skin,making it very red and patchy and caused broken capillaries. Your skin is really looking fabulous,glowing.
I have to say I am so impressed with you and your honesty! I had bought this during a Nordstrom Anniversary sale and I had the same feelings on the lack of suction... I think ppl may think your before pic looks better Only because of the color tone. Is more of a natural lighting and natural color. Vs. the second pic having a more grayish color tone. So naturally we might be drawn to the natural more vibrant color. Which to us would represent more youthful, more life, vibrant, glowing. Vs. seeing a gray tone represents more of dead and colorless. BUT, IF YOU FOCUS ON THE CREASES BY YOUR MOUTH. THE LITTLE DIVIITS, ON RIGHT AND LEFT SIDE. I NOTICE THAT THEY DO IN FACT SEEM LESS DEFINED. THE DEPTH OF IT LOOKS A BIT SHALLOWER. IN THE AFTER PICS. WHICH, I WOULD ONLY ASSUME THAT WITHIN TIME. IT COULD POSSIBLY BE MORE NOTICABLE THAT THE CREASES ARE LIGHTER AND LESS VISIBLE WITH IN TIME... JUST REALLY TAKE A LOOK AND ZOOM IN. Angie, my experience. The first session I did two years ago in a beauty parlour . At that time they use a similar tool with cristal head. No result. After few month the same beauty parlour got the professional machine with diamond head. AND THAT ONE WORKS! I have had session every 3 weeks, still continue with Retin A, except the day before and after. And it works. The ability of a beautician was great in those area which are impossible to be treated by ourself, like chin, front and nose...I have had a very good job. BTW, it happen that with cristal you can get residue on the skin, very boring to take away.....That's my story, for your info. Furthermore, what works for my undereye area (damaged by an accident...I used to have small eyebags and one of them become huge)) was a 3 session of Laser Superpulse CO2. the eye bag quite disapperared, and at least are equal now, the skin tightnening and less deep wrinkle around the area. Angie, you are very trustworthy. Any company who is proud of their product should send it to you for review. They will get an honest examination, and even if it wasn't a perfect yes, it puts them in a good light knowing that it may not be. I love the way you take time too, rather than accepting an expensive product, doing one review, and that's it. It shows your ethics. And your skin looks lovely. You have beautiful skin that you use make up artfully to make any aging you may have look flawless. When I first saw your video to choose from , I was open to listen. In my opinion. Hello again hun..what I found with this(been using this for a year)....I didn't see a lot of a difference with it ...but what I did see was my product worked MUCH better if I continued to use it like once every two weeks or so..then my moisturizer or makeup not only went on better but did a better job..so far as removing scars wrinkles ect, no!..but combined with vita C or pure maracuja oil(all over face at night) and (food grade hydrogen peroxide on age spots only)..my face not only looks clearer but feels so healthy ...This is just what I do....Hope it helps love
Your skin looks tighter and more uplifted. Also, your machine may be broken - as the suction is very strong and if you could not get it to work o n your skin, the actual machine may be at fault.

If you are getting sloughing with the retin A, you could try using it every other day. I find my skin looks even better that way. It doesn't get as dry/sloughy, but still gives great acne control and help with exfoliation & some improvement with wrinkles and pores.

Not worth giving up retin A for. Have been using tretinion for almost 2 weeks now and my skin is loving it. Never even knew Ret A could be used for anti ageing until I discovered your channel lol. I am learning so much from you and looking and feeling so much better. X

Hey Angie! Have you ever heard of dermaroller? I use it on my stretch marks, and it made my marks SO much lighter! They used to be red, and after a few treatments, they are white-ish. It's also used on wrinkles, I really think you should give it a try! :)
You actually look a tad better in the before- The redness on your cheeks could be from anything. Great video!... (I use serious skin care gommage talk about getting new skin (you roll off a ton of dead cells with that mask) - firma face (face lift in a tube that last all day with accumulative effects) again this was well done!!! xoxo
I think the golden light in the first pictures made them look nicer. It is so frustrating trying to use natural light in photographs. Even though it illuminates better, it is impossible to replicate!!!

Thanks for the great review and quite honestly I think your skin looked so much better in the before pix. For the younger folks with more resilient skin this might be fine, but for me and my aging not-so-bouncy skin I think I'll stick with the chemical and natural-based type of exfoliation.
I think your skin looks firmer after the use of the pmd also I did see some of your acne marks lighten, your face also looked softer. After a while I got so use to using my pmd that I was able to get spots on my nose and chin & forehead area it just takes some maneuvering lol.
I think your skin looks nice, you are growing younger looking. I think the fillers that you had really worked on making your skin look younger. I would like a video on how you feel about the fillers after time. :)
Angie, this is a great review as I've seen these out so much and you give such thorough reviews. I agree. I don't see the change and I'm with you that probably Retin A is the best over this device. I love my Clarisonia Mia 2 and Cerevue in the tub jar. Its so soothing and thicker than the bottle kind and I feel like it really plumps up my skin much better. I also just bought a big jar of Lancome cream Nutriv for sensitive skin. It's got Royal Jelly in it and smells AWESOME and is so rich and soft. Thank you for the review.
For me the treatment in salon made wonders. I have dry and sensitive skin. You have a very beautiful skin how to make that much better ? I have bought the maschine to not pay a lot in salons and will try it today :-)

I never really got acne when young, except that exact area getting 1 or 2 hormonal blemishes most months and always blasted them with benzoyl peroxide. Having an Aha moment. No wonder I am aging there first.
Hi, we use about the same routine in skin care, I use PDM before this routine and I agree with you, it's nice but not spiracular. For spots, I think the Nadinola cream from drugstore is the best product I used. Sister, it's $6.

Im 72 and i use it i received so many compliments but i have always taking cate on my skin since my 20 ..i use it once a week with the densitve tip only ..or every other week .

I have found a local spa that uses all organic products, most are made by the owner! She offers a 3 pack of treatments with the diamond encrusted hand held Dermafiles and I have really noticed a big difference after having only had 4 treatments. There are 3 files going from light to coarse. No down time, no peeling, redness, or irritation. Have you ever tried the Dermafiles and if so, what did you think of them. I know that they are for sale on Amazon, but I think you need a cosmetology license to purchase. If anyone knows where I can get them without a license, please respond to this post. I would love to be able to do this at home. Thanks!
The Rodan and Fields Macro exfoliator has adjustable suction you control, which is nice and a 1 minute auto timer. I've not used the PMD, but I think I'll stick with my R+F. I just have to remember to use it. I have pretty good skin, I'm fortunate, my problem as far as the aging process is that I'm finding that my facial features are softening...jaw line...neck. It's what's driving me crazy right now! It's always something...different for everyone, but always something. Thanks for your thorough review Angie.

Another fantastic review. I don't know. I think the pores on the right side look a little smaller.I am just getting a good handle on my breakouts with the help of a prescription facial cleanser. Do you think this caused any more acne?
Divine Hag I felt like I had more small pimples while I used this, but it did seem to keep the big ones away which is kind of a wash, but I thought it was supposed to keep my skin clear which it didn't.
I just received mine and in the instructions it said to use a minimum of 8-12 weeks. Maybe if you used it longer?🤷♀️ I could see a difference in your adter photo!
I agree, I did not see a difference. I guess if you feel a difference it may be worth it. I do have the peeling from the retin A but its usually around my nose so that would not be very helpful
I think some people have pimples ect under skin and as a result you can get more pimples at first but those are there already and after a while they will b gone and skin much smoother

I have heard that with the PMD that if you use it with active breakouts that it can make them worse. I think it has to do with the skin trauma and also spreading the oil/bacteria.

Hi Angie, I suffer from redness on my skin. I still use Microdermabrasion but every fortnight. Anyway, I purchased A High Frequency Electropathy Device and it has different shape glass globes and they all work on the redness on the face especially wrinkles. My friend and myself have seen great results but I use it 5 minutes every day. It only cost between $30-$40 dollars Australian. Anyway, I wish you the best of luck. Cheers. K.M ^..^

I'm thinking about having an' Exilis ' treatment done, but it is expensive, because you have to have it done a few times before you get results. What are your thoughts on the Exilis treatment?
You have to go back for 1 maintenance treatment after one year; No need to say that you do have to live a healthy life style, and keep your skin in good condition if you want to keep good results for a long time. The first time you have to do 3 to 5 treatments in 3 months time. That makes it expensive to start the treatment. And I don't know anybody who has done exilis, to hear what they think of the results. Thank you for posting this. I was waiting patiently for your review and now I am definitely not going to purchase this item. The suction also scared me too, as that could also stretch the skin. Botox is my friend; I know you're not fond of the botox eyebrow lift but I get it and it looks AWESOME on me :-) Oh also I am undergoing lazer treatment for redness and it is making my pores smaller too!!! I noticed you use Retinol from the doctor, I asked the doc for some but he saiid I have to see a dermatologist... The clinical spa that I go to has retinol drops so hopefully they will work :-) Thank you so much for sharing your experiences, I LOVE your videos.
You may be on to something thinking it may work better for younger skin. On my 65 year old skin, it was a disaster. I followed the directions to a tee and it still left red marks all over my face. Aside from that, it did nothing and I sent it back.
This is my opinion, on the front-facing photos of the before and after I do see a glow to your skin on the after photos , but on the side views it seems you have more spots, so was the after pictures taken directly after you used the product or the next day I don't know?

Glad you tested this! I want to see the Tria anti aging laser tested. I have their hair removal laser which worked beautifully for me.

I think your skin looks firmer after the use of the pmd also I did see some of your acne marks lighten, your face also looked softer. After a while I got so use to using my pmd that I was able to get spots on my nose and chin & forehead area it just takes some maneuvering lol.

Angie, this is a great review as I've seen these out so much and you give such thorough reviews. I agree. I don't see the change and I'm with you that probably Retin A is the best over this device. I love my Clarisonia Mia 2 and Cerevue in the tub jar. Its so soothing and thicker than the bottle kind and I feel like it really plumps up my skin much better. I also just bought a big jar of Lancome cream Nutriv for sensitive skin. It's got Royal Jelly in it and smells AWESOME and is so rich and soft. Thank you for the review.
For me the treatment in salon made wonders. I have dry and sensitive skin. You have a very beautiful skin how to make that much better ? I have bought the maschine to not pay a lot in salons and will try it today :-)

I never really got acne when young, except that exact area getting 1 or 2 hormonal blemishes most months and always blasted them with benzoyl peroxide. Having an Aha moment. Hi, we use about the same routine in skin care, I use PDM before this routine and I agree with you, it's nice but not spiracular. For spots, I think the Nadinola cream from drugstore is the best product I used. Sister, it's $6.

Im 72 and i use it i received so many compliments but i have always taking cate on my skin since my 20 ..i use it once a week with the densitve tip only ..or every other week .

I have found a local spa that uses all organic products, most are made by the owner! She offers a 3 pack of treatments with the diamond encrusted hand held Dermafiles and I have really noticed a big difference after having only had 4 treatments. There are 3 files going from light to coarse. No down time, no peeling, redness, or irritation. Have you ever tried the Dermafiles and if so, what did you think of them. I know that they are for sale on Amazon, but I think you need a cosmetology license to purchase. If anyone knows where I can get them without a license, please respond to this post. I would love to be able to do this at home. Thanks!
The Rodan and Fields Macro exfoliator has adjustable suction you control, which is nice and a 1 minute auto timer. I've not used the PMD, but I think I'll stick with my R+F. I just have to remember to use it. I have pretty good skin, I'm fortunate, my problem as far as the aging process is that I'm finding that my facial features are softening...jaw line...neck. It's what's driving me crazy right now! It's always something...different for everyone, but always something. Thanks for your thorough review Angie.

Another fantastic review. I don't know. I think the pores on the right side look a little smaller.I am just getting a good handle on my breakouts with the help of a prescription facial cleanser. Do you think this caused any more acne?
Divine Hag I felt like I had more small pimples while I used this, but it did seem to keep the big ones away which is kind of a wash, but I thought it was supposed to keep my skin clear which it didn't.

I just received mine and in the instructions it said to use a minimum of 8-12 weeks. Maybe if you used it longer?🤷♀️ I could see a difference in your adter photo!
I agree, I did not see a difference. I guess if you feel a difference it may be worth it. I do have the peeling from the retin A but its usually around my nose so that would not be very helpful

I think some people have pimples ect under skin and as a result you can get more pimples at first but those are there already and after a while they will b gone and skin much smoother

I have heard that with the PMD that if you use it with active breakouts that it can make them worse. I think it has to do with the skin trauma and also spreading the oil/bacteria.

Hi Angie, I suffer from redness on my skin. I still use Microdermabrasion but every fortnight. Anyway, I purchased A High Frequency Electropathy Device and it has different shape glass globes and they all work on the redness on the face especially wrinkles. My friend and myself have seen great results but I use it 5 minutes every day. It only cost between $30-$40 dollars Australian. Anyway, I wish you the best of luck. Cheers. K.M ^..^

You have to go back for 1 maintenance treatment after one year; No need to say that you do have to live a healthy life style, and keep your skin in good condition if you want to keep good results for a long time. The first time you have to do 3 to 5 treatments in 3 months time. That makes it expensive to start the treatment. And I don't know anybody who has done exilis, to hear what they think of the results. If you want, I can let you know how the results are after I had my treatment.

Thank you for posting this. I was waiting patiently for your review and now I am definitely not going to purchase this item. The suction also scared me too, as that could also stretch the skin. Botox is my friend; I know you're not fond of the botox eyebrow lift but I get it and it looks AWESOME on me :-) Oh also I am undergoing lazer treatment for redness and it is making my pores smaller too!!! I noticed you use Retinol from the doctor, I asked the doc for some but he saiid I have to see a dermatologist... The clinical spa that I go to has retinol drops so hopefully they will work :-) Thank you so much for sharing your experiences, I LOVE your videos.

I don't remember... this was a few years ago.
You may be on to something thinking it may work better for younger skin. On my 65 year old skin, it was a disaster. I followed the directions to a tee and it still left red marks all over my face. Aside from that, it did nothing and I sent it back.

This is my opinion, on the front-facing photos of the before and after I do see a glow to your skin on the after photos , but on the side views it seems you have more spots, so was the after pictures taken directly after you used the product or the next day I don't know?
