if your question is about whether we can record "movies," the answer is yes. The new microscope at UofA is the Hitachi HF5000 - 200KeV aberration-corrected TEM, right? So, the only similarity is that both machines are probe-corrected STEM. The rest, from the manufacturer, are entirely different regarding stability, working voltages, EDS, and EELS capabilities.
