Just a piece of constructive criticism. The music in your vid is to loud as compared to the voices. Don't mind loud music it's just a pain having to adjust the volume every time it switches from one to the other. Yeah we discovered we had a bad mic cable that was causing intermittent static. Tried to correct in post production, but that was as clean as we could get it, but that caused its own problems. That's what you get when you're trying to run the biggest weekly car show in the world AND shoot and edit a weekly video yourself at the same time. One day maybe we'll have a production crew to make sure this sort of thing doesn't happen. It's honestly disappointing and frustrating given how much time we put into it. Stick with us ... We'll get better!
I’d like to, but it’s tough to figure out what to shoot on. We need something lightweight so we can put it up on a short handle to get above the people as we move amongst the 10,000- plus crowds. Also needs a front facing screen for when we shoot forwards like I did with Damon. Currently shooting on a GoPro Hero 9 Black, which I know is not ideal … But can’t use something as big and heavy as a DSLR. Any suggestions?
Phil Morrison's is 100x better, and he was first to do this. Mind you, he likely spent triple on the bodywork, and actually had the car painted instead of a giant sticker.
