Hi Abby. I wanted to point out the difference between your reaction to stressful work conditions this year vs last year. This year with your bad news about December busy season you have coping mechanisms in place; and although its unpleasant for you, you appear to be coping. Last year, you would have been having a pretty good meltdown from this news. Proud of you. Its always good to see an intelligent, articulate women evolving to her circumstances.
Thank you so much for noticing this/recognizing it/bringing it to my attention because honestly I don’t see it in myself so it’s helpful to hear someone else say that ☺️
Honestly, you always make me feel validated as someone who has 2 jobs and doings a masters program full time, my to do list is never done (specially with just normal life things) and I needed the reminder this week of just resting even when everything is not done. Thank you❤
I resonate so deeply with the struggle of being "perpetually behind" or never "caught up" with work. I need to learn how to accept that in my industry that concept doesn't exist and to be able to sit with the discomfort that comes from the lack of control I feel, which correlates to a lack of security. The fear of letting others down, failing to meet deadlines, etc. is beyond stressful and I sometimes don't even notice I've been in fight or flight mode all day till I finally get to bed. Building the trust in myself is taking longer than I'd like, but hopefully, at some point I can prove to myself and others enough times that everything ends up coming together even if the project is wrapped in a way that wasn't expected or ideal at the start. Ahhhh sorry for the journal entry of a comment on your video!! Abby, thank you so much for allowing us the space to reflect and share our experiences in navigating early careers and life in general - love your content and always feel inspired or calmed by it
omg don’t be sorry - appreciate you sharing and appreciate you being here!!! I TOTALLY feel the fight or flight mode all day thing, it really takes a toll after a while/many days of that feeling back to back. it really is a process to learn that some things will never be complete by nature and that’s ok!!!
I think you’re handling the early hours and late nights so well truly 💕 even with filming short form, THIS vlog, you do so much and you’re handling yourself with grace ❤️🔥
I worked in public accounting for 6 years so I definitely feel for you with deadlines and constant work coming up. My experience was there was no “being caught up” because whenever you had a more chill schedule you would get a new project added. I worked on audit though. You’ve got this, just make sure to set some boundaries between work and life events and don’t let work put more on you than you can really handle while living the life you want!
Hi Abby! I love your vlogs (and your podcast too) 🫶🏻✨ I really appreciate the effort you put in creating content for IG, YT and the podcast, you’re pure inspiration and motivation 💪🏻💪🏻✨✨

I love your vlogs! I think you should try ag haircare’s mousse gel and the curl activator. It might help your curls last longer in the humidity. My hair is curlier than yours and I like the results it gives me.

It’s so good!
Ella is the cutest
Oct is busy season for my job since I’m in healthcare benefits customer service and October is open enrollment.
Does this job require any specific experience/degree?
@@halleknox2059 Nothing super specific, I'm a new BBA grad with a marketing degree but I'm not even using my degree for this position.
Sending you love! we’re in the busyness together 🤪
Would you ever move to a smaller accounting firm outside of big 4?
Abby you are looking too too fit and healthy and this is one of my favourite vlog and I love this kind of vlogs a lot you are my inspiration and I wish you reach 100K Subscribers very very soon!🙂💫💖
