- Watch the process of fossil preparation to a huge multi block containing loads of ammonites. This block was found fossil hunting on the Holderness coast in Yorkshire, England. Probably one of the biggest blocks i have worked on yet and i am absolutely amazed with the outcome. Juist goes to show what ancient treasures are out there to be found !!
All that heaving off the beach and 12hrs of prep pays off. Excellent work. Good on you.
thanks David !!
Awesome prep and timelapse Mark shes a big block. Looks like a great display piece now!

I went to the end and the piece look great. Nice work

Looked a big job before you started, however thankfully it appeared fairly easily, that or your just Epic with the pen lol. Hats off it looks fantastic, a proper addition to the collection well done Mark. How long did it take? Thanks buddy Happy days 👍👍
it was not easy, I'm just epic !!! took about 12 hours in total buddy. these arni blocks are full of shells so they are very sticky
Absolutely Amazing, how Beautiful it turns out to be! 🐬💦
Awesome prep 👍🏻 Did you find the jaw piece, the mammoth tusk & vertebra by yourself (end of the video)? They are gorgeous 🤗⛏️ I have found (ice age bones and) some ivory pieces in my home gravel pit but they aren't so large as yours
no i was given the jaw piece from a few close friends and the tusk and vertebra a purchased for my collection. I am hoping to find some one day though !!

nice job looks very cool! the ammonite that you glued up was there and fallen of while you were prepping i missed that part:S
Thanks Jaroslav, Yes sometimes the ammonites pop off and in this case would not go back in its original pace so i set it in to look natural. I am very happy with the end result it looks amazing in my collection.
Epic!
Beautiful video! What did you give to polish at 7.35? And what pen did you use to smooth everything at 25.00?
I just give a coat of varnish to see what they would look like and the smoothing process was done with a rotary grinder. Thanks for watching im glad you enjoyed it !
