Hello, The pipe looking object is a piece to a paint airbrush gun. It is the cup the paint sits in and gets sucked through the tube as it mixes into the air. I use one in my taxidermy business. Good luck hunting, Jeff

Ha was just watching this video and came to comment. I am an airbrush artist and have many of those. It's def a bent paint cup. I metal detect as well and have never found one of those in the ground. Kind of odd. Great video though.

What's crazy about it is that's my hunting property I been hunting that property since 2013 that's actually crazy that place used to be a dairy farm and way in the back there used to be a barn that is no longer there

Brother I surely would!! But I've been living out on the West Coast since I retired from the Navy back in "03" and plan on heading to the Philippines to live out the rest of my life and have alrdy sent my detector over ahead of me :-). But I'll clue you in on something about Ohio....anywhere near and around any of the waterways including the Ohio river is a gold mine!!! Also, the small towns and villages that have been there like FOREVER!! My Grandmother lived in one and her back yard was just littered with old coinage.

Hey Dustin. I looked at a map of Circleville and we were hunting about an hour from there if you’re referring to the cool old two story house. The dentist in town owned the house but had it up for sale. It seems like any town in Ohio that ends in “ville” is a great spot to hunt. Heck we’ve never struck out hunting any spots in that area of Ohio. Hope you do well

I made a nice spade similar, but just reworked a trenching spade,,,, about $15 from hardware store, compare to the piranha they sell for about $80.. Helps to be able to do a little welding and grinding.
Very cool. It's so nice having a long handle shovel now. I never used one before that trip now I will never use anything but it. Jerimy did a great job building it.

Hello there. There's a couple of different ways to ask. Sometimes you can offer 50% of the finds or maybe even do a chore believe it or not. In this case I had an extra detector and the farmer's wife detected with us in her yard. Just being polite is the best way. I've been told many times and even got threatened once.
Okie's Surf N Turf Metal Detecting, thank you for responding. I've always wanted to know and am a little afraid of how the home owner will respond. I have found many things looking around older homes that do not have a " no trespassing " sign but I didn't have a detector back then. One woman stopped, in her car, and told me that I was on their property, I showed her the few things I found just looking around the place and she was surprised by the things I had found. I gave her the only thing she wanted, which was a tea cup and saucer. It was her grandmother's. She let me keep the rest. Thanks again. Happy hunting!

I watched the video again. I am sorry that you feel that way. If you do some research I'm sure you will find that it is a part off of airbrush. I guess that if someone really wanted to use it as a pipe they could but that's not what it was made for.
Let me know when that shovel comes out I like to buy one if the price is reasonable i've seen shovels like that but very overpriced I guess that's what happens when you buy in the USA thank you😎
Will do. The shovel like I use will be the most expensive version. It will sell for around $95 but I promise it's worth every penny. He uses very high quality materials and takes a lot of time making them.

Oh I wasn't lol at the misidentification . I was just thinking how thaat really does look like sort of a pot pipe. Here I have several or those and thought oh dang when I did those mobile airbrushing jobs what would have happened had I been pulled over and they discovered that particular piece or airbrush equipment.

Its not a pipe it's a paint well for an air brush you put your paint in it and then you attach it to the air brush ,you guys got some nice finds.

I'm in shock right now. I looked up ohio metal detecting and the first video I click on was your video. What's crazy about it is that's my hunting property I been hunting that property since 2013 that's actually crazy that place used to be a dairy farm and way in the back there used to be a barn that is no longer there

Brother I surely would!! But I've been living out on the West Coast since I retired from the Navy back in "03" and plan on heading to the Philippines to live out the rest of my life and have alrdy sent my detector over ahead of me :-). But I'll clue you in on something about Ohio....anywhere near and around any of the waterways including the Ohio river is a gold mine!!! Also, the small towns and villages that have been there like FOREVER!! My Grandmother lived in one and her back yard was just littered with old coinage.
That first find is an 1837 coin from Canada. One side says "Bank Token, Half Penny" and the other has Province du Bas Canada, Un Sou (now Quebec). That is a fantastic find! Here's a link: www.coinsandcanada.com/tokens-medals-banks.php?title=&id=98

Hey Dustin. I looked at a map of Circleville and we were hunting about an hour from there if you’re referring to the cool old two story house. The dentist in town owned the house but had it up for sale. It seems like any town in Ohio that ends in “ville” is a great spot to hunt. Heck we’ve never struck out hunting any spots in that area of Ohio. Hope you do well

I made a nice spade similar, but just reworked a trenching spade,,,, about $15 from hardware store, compare to the piranha they sell for about $80.. Helps to be able to do a little welding and grinding.
Very cool. It's so nice having a long handle shovel now. I never used one before that trip now I will never use anything but it. Jerimy did a great job building it.

How do you approach the homeowner to get permission to detect their property? Do you offer them any of the finds? Has anyone ever been ugly to you?
Hello there. There's a couple of different ways to ask. Sometimes you can offer 50% of the finds or maybe even do a chore believe it or not. In this case I had an extra detector and the farmer's wife detected with us in her yard. Just being polite is the best way. I've been told many times and even got threatened once.
Okie's Surf N Turf Metal Detecting, thank you for responding. I've always wanted to know and am a little afraid of how the home owner will respond. I have found many things looking around older homes that do not have a " no trespassing " sign but I didn't have a detector back then. One woman stopped, in her car, and told me that I was on their property, I showed her the few things I found just looking around the place and she was surprised by the things I had found. I gave her the only thing she wanted, which was a tea cup and saucer. It was her grandmother's. She let me keep the rest. Thanks again. Happy hunting!

I watched the video again. I am sorry that you feel that way. If you do some research I'm sure you will find that it is a part off of airbrush. I guess that if someone really wanted to use it as a pipe they could but that's not what it was made for.
Let me know when that shovel comes out I like to buy one if the price is reasonable i've seen shovels like that but very overpriced I guess that's what happens when you buy in the USA thank you😎
Will do. The shovel like I use will be the most expensive version. It will sell for around $95 but I promise it's worth every penny. He uses very high quality materials and takes a lot of time making them.

Oh I wasn't lol at the misidentification . I was just thinking how thaat really does look like sort of a pot pipe. Here I have several or those and thought oh dang when I did those mobile airbrushing jobs what would have happened had I been pulled over and they discovered that particular piece or airbrush equipment.
