I love running Moogwang on a stall team for pvp. Riley, Xing Zhe, Veromos for more dots, more stun, and more cleanse. Last slot I’ve been trying a few different things between Ariel, Bastet, and Juno. I’d disagree with him not being for pvp (still not good enough to run on any team like laika or others though), the heal meta is so strong now a destroy this efficient makes for an incredible way to tip the scales in your favor. If you can build a team that stalls really well, he can be an incredible tool for winning rta matches. If moogwang is banned tho, you better have a good stall team without him.
First i thought of him as lead, paired up with Nora and Sath, against not too waterheavy teams. High HP lead, two strips, heavy damage and destroy
I am so happy I got him. I now just have to fuse 11 dark ones for skill ups x)
I plan on pairing him with the Dark Elven Ranger for fun
Tbh skill up will change very little about him. I would direct that effort to sth else 😂
Dark Elven Ranger with Despair Seal runes, to avoid those nasty Theo vio procs
@@SeanBGames you're right, I just feel good about having everything skilled up as long as the mon is fusable. I know its not efficient but damn it is fun
Dot teams are SERIOUSLY underestimated in general in SW honestly.
agreed. ive been having a lot of fun playing a dot cleave team on AO. kinda want him cos i think he would fit pretty well in my team.

Recently I used with Rica, bayek and the fire totemist, they melt the teams and bayek go crazy bruh
or maybe that monstet with sath could be a good combo monster i wonder if this monster could be useful with cairos hard mode or maybe help alot in steel fortress and punishment crypt if you put a cleaner buff and sath in the team with a tatu or one that made explot all continue damage
abyss normal and hard bosses dont get dots
you can neither destroy nor dot abyss bosses, thus hes completely useless there

The negative side is that the more HP you destroy, the less damage the dots do. So even if you have 10 dots in an unit with 60% MAX HP already destroyed, it wont kill it. Still its very good for the purpose of destroying HP in siege.
Not only that but max destroy ends at 60%..sadly. So his destroy HP value falls off. Would be awesome if it applied clear to 0hp
It effectively prevents multi-turn continuous damage from being fatal

This isn't PvE; stop suggesting Sath, like he isn't the first thing everyone thinks of. The destroy effect more than cuts Sath's damage bonus in half. The beauty of this guy, and part of how he overcomes his tendency to undercut his own DoT's damage, is that he does base damage based on his own HP. So, yes, DoT damage does proportionately less, but he also does proportionately more, at baseline, as does anyone else on the team with damage scaling on other attributes. Overall, it's a great counter to healing, particularly when combined with other units that do more damage, heal block, or add even more DoTs. He might as well have heal block aura as a passive. He also heals, further adding to his attrition style. At the end of the day, if your opponent is stuck at 40% max HP, if you stack, say, even 2 DoTs, that puts them at like 36% max (original) HP. You don't have any units that can reliably do that much damage in a turn (or, you know, a team of 3-4 tanky units?)? This guy probably can on his own; a clever player can add at least one other unit that can do the same. I've tried to resist laying this out there so plainly, but FUCK, you guys make it hard to ignore.
Edit: Thanks for the upload, though, Shawneeeee. Kind of hard to believe no other classic SW streamers are on top of this. Entertainment is almost secondary to your analysis/editing, sometimes (rarely).

Boi already strips, applies DoTs, destroys HP (which is the PVP equivalent of Sath's passive), heals, heals your TEAM, stuns, and does HP-based damage. My son, you ask too much. At least make up some downsides to defend against people who believe that Com2Us ACTUALLY has been paying close attention to user opinions, like they insist in the balance patches. This guy, and the recent, delightful compensation, made me come back, but still won't keep me long.

I have done over 3000 summon for bolverk and still can't pull him.. also over 20 blessing and nothing. But this is what make the game so great. I get frustrated but that's how it it. I just keep playing. Cause when I get it it will be a huge surprise... just for toa hell auto win team

Destroy and provoke are my favorite effects in the game so i love the gargoyles for that reason but this unit would be nice to have sadly out of all my summons and my free scroll ive only summoned 2 of the fire 4* unit after fusing 7 of her to make 6 dark 5*s
Man imagine if he also had sath passive with double dot dmg!! That would be so good
next monster release is gonna have a passive that converts all DOT into healing for the team and prevent the allies hp from being destroyed without even having to take a turn the first skill can transfer harmful effects and steal beneficial with a mediocre second skill like... atk/def 2 turn and atk bar by 5% per harmful effect
But Juno and Veromos alr have debuff into healing-

@seanB I popped a blessing and my choices are Him or CP... what do I choose. I have good dot teams for toah and he seems like a great addition, but also kind of unneeded. But he's a new mon so I want him. But I also have never pulled an art master, and CP is just a great mon all around. Been playing for what now. 8 years? Just pulled my first ld nat 5 a week or two ago.
I was trying to compare this guy to borgnine and i think borgnine is better due to more cc. All of these doki guys need maybe a little bit more damage on s1 but you have the Dominic issue, kind of, due to wind.
The team with Water Bison....use Nora instead of Rica if you want alil heal...U can also use with Tomoe and watch the dots do WORK
I love watching things melt and I already daily use borgnine in arena slow cleaves with feng yan Leo Aaliyah so if I pull him it’s gonna get real spicy

I feel like the dmg reduction from the water bison/slayer is quite underwhelming
Reducing Mo Long s2 damage from 2k-4k per hit to 700-1k is definitely a welcome addition to the battle imo
So, they kinda removed the built-in destroy effect in Beth's skill3 to give it to this guy...🥲
