On our recent trip to Rishikesh, we decided to explore the most famous restaurant in Rishikesh i.e. Chotiwala. Initially, we were confused as to who is the real Chotiwala in Rishikesh and after checking with locals we found the real Chotiwala.
We got an opportunity to talk to the admin of Chotiwala and he shared the story behind Chotiwala. We also got some food recommendations from him and tasted some of the delicacies. Though the cost of the food was on a little higher side but some of their food items like Gulab Jamun, Amritsari Chur Chur Naan, and Dal Makhni were really good. Original to sir ek hi hota hai... jisme hum gaye wo first outlet tha and then family dispute ke bad alag ho gaye.. But vaise dekhe to generation same hi hain.. White sauce pasta to nahi try kiya.. may be next time jayenge.
