You gotta switch it up maybe do raised beds, plant vegetables that are synergistic to each other. Instead of disc I’d dig it all up and back fill with something more nutrient dense for the soil
I know what you going through I do my garden by hand its hard, cut garden in half and plant, it will produce enough to get your family through winter . Keep pushing bro it's worth it in the end feeding the family.. You the Boss Man..
Bossman l’m gonna tell you something, what you’re getting ready to plant is what it’s all about. I raised all the greens you’re planting and when they were ready I did what they call blanching and we had greens until the next season. Don’t get me wrong, butter beans, crowder peas, okra, zucchini, cucumber, corn, squash, tomatoes, deer, rabbit, squirrel, white potato, sweet potato. We went berry picking, pecan picking and most of all FISHING. WE LOVE YOU AND BOSSLADY, DON’T STOP DOING WHAT YALL DOING!!! 👏👏👏🤩🤩🤩💯💯💯🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I think that garden is too big for one person to work properly. I wouldn't give up gardening, but I'd probably cut the garden down to half the size. Rather have something smaller that I could take care of well.
please don't give up. I appreciate what you do. i look forward to watching you garden. I follow your example. you are one of the few that seems like it's real life. stay with it. who else are we gonna learn from? you got this...
Bruh I gave up making hilled rows a long time ago. Now I do raised beds and direct in the ground. Raised rows are great but by hand is a lot of work especially when you make long rows. I'm gonna make a hiller for my tiller to make it easy for me. Stay Blessed Bruh.
Don't give up. I don't make raised hills either. I sow my seeds directly into the ground. However, I have more success with transplants with collard greens and cabbages. Look into an Earthway planter for seeds. It saves a lot of time.
Bossman don’t give up on gardening. If you could take a survey you would find thousands of people living in the city wanting to garden. Hang in there you can be as good at gardening as you are at fishing and cooking. I think you do well at gardening.Hang in there.
“Top of the morning to you “. You got that ground looking good. That garden certainly brings back memories of spending time with my grandpa. Man that okra that you took out was nearly small trees, lol…. I enjoy the content that you put out…keep doing what you’re doing. May God continue to shower down his blessings on you and your family.
The challenge can be challenging bossman. You have no idea of how much you are helping a lot of minds with every muscle you move on your broadcast. May grace be at your doorstep, to encourage and massage your mental veins for your project. Peace be with you man. Shalom.
It's hard workin a garden boss man I do understand broke my heart see you pulling up that okra... Let's see what this harvest of cabbage and greens going to do ✌🏼
When the garden don't come in, you get back on your tractor and try again! Oklahoma heat was bad on my garden but I'm on my Ford 3600 putting more beets in for a Fall crop. I always enjoy gardening and fishing with you because my old arse still learns a trick or two. Thank you!
Bossman, I believe you might be able to process those Okra stalks for fire wood.😆 I have to admit, I'm a little jealous. I would love to be putting in a Fall garden. Direct sowing without raised rows won't hurt a thing. You're going to have an incredible Fall garden. I hope you are smoking some deer and hog bones to cook those greens. Smoked deer neck roast in a pot of greens...woooweee it's good.😆Got to have some Turnip Greens so you got something else to mix those Mustard Greens in. 😆 As always, thank you for sharing.🙂
Keep it going Boss Man, they say the hardest part is getting started, I agree 💯 percent. One day at a time and before you know it, you're done and looking for something else to do.
Love what you do man. You ever think about organic? You can easily add to your soil with some big straw bales everywhere, let it break down it turns to top soil. I do that along with leaves, compost from the kitchen, and aged horse manure.
Bossman Bossman! You working yourself too hard, just do your disc put seeds out run rake over. Using the square foot method and half the size. More harvest less work. Love love you and Bosslady keep up the awesome content!
What’s up Bro…..I see you breaking up the ground with the bigblur tractor but you doing a lot of bending and pulling…I know your back was sore after that
Do you one type of greens throw that shit out there find you a peice of fence drag it behind your tractor throw you some fertilizer or for fertilizer as much you go fishing that's your fertilizer do just like you do those deer food plots trust me brother don't kill your self with that shit you only human
Bossman you was talking about making rolls and I was watching your video this what I do when you be using your disc if you look down through there you already have rows already lined up I take a stick put it on one end take another stick put it on the other end drop the seas where you see the ditch line and all you have to do is cover it up trust me it works you're disc leave a perfect line for you
Bossman you do not need rows for greens just disk put a cup of corn meal or sand in your bow with the seed so you can see where you have been make about a four foot strip the length of the garden do all the green seed the same way .Takea piece of the cow panel drag over one time after seeding I do not know about the cabbage
Boss man I like splitting firewood but I can’t split a cord or half a cord anymore.Father time slowed me down but I’m still swinging that axe and maul just more 15 min breaks.
Hey Bossman long time subscriber here. Have you ever tried just broadcasting your greens over a freshly turned garden spot? I mix my seeds with sand in a bucket and try to evenly spread the seed over the entire spot by hand. It works well for me and a whole lot less labor is needed.
I never seen okra with a stacked that big you must have some good land .you might can grow anything you want if you want to. Don’t you think you should put down more then one seed in a spot in case if one don’t come up.
You do know you can take your mustard seeds and your turnip salad seeds, mix them together and mix them with fertilizer and just broadcast them out across the field. That's how he's supposed to do it an buy cabbage plants and collard green plants and plant them but for mustards and turnip salad you just mixed them seeds up with fertilizer and broadcast those bastards across the field and they'll come up
I know you are not the only one eating the food. You tell me you cant get help to rake up the mounds? Come on now! I do mine alone because its just ME! SAD!
I started not to say anything but all that culinary art, and you buy tea? How do you think professional growers felt. Once you get the recipe, ain't no stopping you!

I always enjoy gardening and fishing with you because my old arse still learns a trick or two. Thank you!
You need a garden bedder attachment for your tractor. You can set it to make whatever size beds or rows you want.
Maybe you can make you some raised beds they easier and not so bad on the back.
Bossman, I believe you might be able to process those Okra stalks for fire wood.😆 I have to admit, I'm a little jealous. I would love to be putting in a Fall garden. Okra loves heat, so the first blast of cold takes them out.

Bossman, I hear you on the rows, it appears the garden has turned into a field and will require equipment to prepare. Awesome content!
