Definitely might have to get this done!😂 just picked up my first Corsa, got a 2012 1.3 Corsa CDTI, my first turbo and loving it! This would be quite a nice addition. Thanks mate. Im still planning on doing it mate. I need to buy a few bits to do it with like a rework station and currently I Don't have the money for it but it will be coming in the next months.

🤣 the speedo needs soldering but the rest Is alright. Iv got the kit just saving for a half decent rework station before doing ot
@@BrakesWheelsAutomobiles if its only the speedo you need to do I wouldn't bother with a expensive kit. I did my whole conversion with a £13 kit and a flux pen and that was about 80 leds, I think the speedo is only 14. Iv never done any kind of solder work and if you take your time with a steady hand you could do it, let me know if you need any advise!

I followed your mod instructions. It looked awesome until the fire started. Hopefully the insurance will cover the cost of the mod kit as well.
Sorry to hear that bud. Iv had them on for ages now and had no issues. Maybe it was a faulty kit

@@BrakesWheelsAutomobiles what can i use instead of that filter , and is it safe to use that filter from that site , like you said its bassicaly piece of paper.
The original one was similar and it is safe. However, I wouldn't put anything different in there as it may be risky
i think i will use some thin white plastic ,should be working good too
Would this conversion also work with the facelift Corsa's GID screen (thats the big rectangular screen)? I just hate that orange color
Yes mate should work completely fine
The gid needs soldering mate, I did my astra vxr ,I think it's 24 leds that need desoldering and new coloured smd leds soldering back in. You can change every orange light in the car including radio, ac unit, speedo ,window lights and roof switches but it's a fiddly process

These ones cost I think 3.99. For all of the bulbs I have ordered I have only spent £16 with delivery

Hello i need your advice..coz my display is not working...but actually when it hot..it appears the display and working..but in the morning it fails again..any advice..please
Sounds like there may be a weak or loose connection. Maybe try twisting the power wires into a larger collection and potentially soldering. It also may be an issue with the head unit itself
hey bro, Can you remove the bulb from the socket ? I mean is it removable or welded inside the socket ?
Yes mate completely removable and pretty easy. Just twists o think it's 90 degrees to the side and should just lift out. It has two little metal tabs that when rotated can fit through the gap you'll see what I mean when you take them out.
@@BrakesWheelsAutomobiles can u show me that in a video ? maybe on IG ? cuz i am afraid to do it just like that without seeing how, cuz if i failed x) it'll be a problem, such type of clock lights (like the leds u bought, or even the stock ones) aren't avilable in my country
If you go to 8 min 20 it shows u me inserting the new ones buddy. Its just the same process I reverse. Trust me its really easy and not much can go wrong

Yes mate they fit in and come out the exact same way that the black ones do just a slightly different shape. It is removable. Just use something like tweezers to twist it out easy like shown in the vid 🙂

Hi mate I’m having a problem with my corsa d. Sometimes I switch the ignition on and the display comes on and radio turns on automatically. Sometimes it doesn’t and I tap the radio and it eventually does. Any idea what it might be? Would really appreciate the help
Changed the bulbs and they weren’t the problem
It could be that the wiring is loose in the back or a slightly faulty fuse. Most likely the wiring mate

Hello im from italy..my problem is my display clock is delay to turn on during morning with starting the car ..no detail totally off..but in the afternoon it turn on...what is the problem? Can you help some advice.. thanks.
Hey mate. I can't say 100% but it could potentially be something broken with the digital side of things so potentially you may need a new display. Before making any big changes I'd try fuses, unplug and plug back in all wiring. Check for any damage and maybe even check if any of the bulbs have sign of damage. Other than that you are most likely looking at something more serious like the circuit board

Very nice video but that's a corsa C and not a D. Corsa D has a different front bumper and the fog lights configuration is different. I an an owner of a corsa D.

Not sure if they'll sell the individual parts due to it being so cheap in the first place but I got the whole unit off of ebay mate
