A heritage holstein could be about the size of a large jersey, or perhaps a brown swiss. Their colors vary enough that they can look similar, but the brown swiss is bigger.
Great breakdown, as always, my friend! These animals all look AMAZING! I remain most excited about the goat but... After seeing them in action, the sheep and donkey are up there for me too. And the scenery still looks super useful even if we seem to have taken a backslide in terms of things being flexicolor or not... It's definitely going to limit the usefulness for certain things (e.g., the barrel) but between the fences, new planters, and new foliage? I'm over it. Can't wait to get my hands on this tomorrow!
Great video! I wish the highland cows were a bigger variant, they seem closer to mini highlands. I gotta say, the thing I’m most excited for is seeing what mods you might make from these. I’m wanting to make a huge “working farm” style project and the more cows/sheep/pigs/chicken variants the better aha! I’ve already downloaded some great ones from you on Nexus so looking forward to hopefully some more in future!
The pack looks fantastic, I do wish it was like a shetland pony instead of the donkey (this coming from a donkey stan/fan) and i wish we had a rabbit. the props look fantastic and i love guests interacting with the animals, who btw the models look incredible! I hope the highland cattle gets a wee bit of a size upgrade though, i was shocked how tiny it was next to the guests! def buying t day 1. also get well leaf!

We even have a special zoo that mainly includes barn animals and we used to go to it all the time (It's a zoo in Vyškov if anybody wants to know more about it :D), I still take a tryp there every year or so to freshen up my memory of it

Love this in depth overview of the pack it makes me so excited for it tomorrow! i believe this may answer part of your question about the gates, its kinda typical in the uk that farms will have those types of gates stand alone with posts either side and use either stone wall or shrubs/wire to contain the animals & complete the fencing/enclosure :) great video as always

Amazing pack in my opinion, but I would honestly replace the donkeys, with horses with many many different variants, I would also make male chickens have there own classic rooster variant, (ya know the brown rooster with green feathers)

One thing with this is that with some of the DLC's it's as much for the animals as an excuse for new and/or revised mechanics. So a heavy overhaul of walkthrough stuff, this was the theme to do it. SUSSEX

Love the animal encounters and the new animals and those hedgerows and stone wall pieces are great! I do wish they had added something for children’s, ideally play equipment would have been fab but even a new education item would have fitted with the theme. Thank goodness for talented people who add to the workshop!
I think this was the funniest vid you have made so far, Leaf, but I also think you need to lay of the meds ;-) I love the sheep and the donkey, but my favorites must be the chickens and the goats. They look so good although I would have preferred the pygmy goat as that is what I have most often seen in Zoos. I am most disappointed about the highland cattle as they seem very small compared to the ones we have in my area. I normally love highland cattle but they are big beasts. I really like this combo pack where we get a good amount of animals but also matching scenery pieces, although I would have loved 1-2 new animal enrichment items as well. I love the new hedgerow and the stone fence, although I don't get why we have never gotten a single new "proper" fence since the base game. And yes, big missed opportunity not to give us a wooden fence to match the beautiful wooden gate. Whyyyyy.... I have wanted a petting zoo pack for so long and while I don't think this one is revolutionary I still love it. Also fits perfectly with my European zoo. So happy. But when i did hear you say, domestic animals can not be released to the wild, how am I complete these animals? Or just do not put them up for petting/walkthrough animal? Do you have an answer? :)
The Milk Churn and the Lid should've been separate Pieces. Prepared a Place on my new Farm where I wanted to have a Sunflower inside of a Milk Churn 😍 Finally a new Guest Gate. A Shame though that there still isn't a Glass and Metal Variety. Still excited though for the Pack. The Animals look so nice, even though the Highland Cattle should definitely be a bit bigger. Not sure about the Pig. 😍 Luckily my Farm already has a fenced off Area for the Donkeys and I'll probably keep the Chickens on the Entrance Plaza. The Shake Shop makes Sense due to the Highland Cattle and I guess also the Goat and Sheep to some Extent if their Milk can be properly used for that too🤔

I really like everything in the pack despite it being a clone pack. I know frontier took a pretty big operating loss recently, so it seems like they are trying to get new content out there with smaller budgets. I do hope marketing sees the community outcry for an avairy pack because it would absolutely turn a profit.
I love the update but I am so sad that most mods I had stopped working. Spent my whole day yesterday trying to find out which ones are crashing my game. Is it because of the encounters? I am curious.
so sad the pigs don't have more color variations, spotted pigs or black pigs are always so pretty! sussex though.... The goats and the plant hedges are definitely my favorite from the pack

I actually had no idea how small highland cattle could be! I always thought they were as big as like Jersey Cows or Holstein cattle!
There is a standard size and a dwarf size!
Jerseys aren't that big either, but holsteins are huge.

Hamish and Kyloe and some other TH-cam channels made me think highland cattle were gigantic. So strange to see them being so small.

What you're thinking about is the Rhode Island Red and these aren't RiR's, sooooooo.
Those hedges are actually a game changer. Looks imo much better than using common reeds or cattails when not next to a river.
