I love how deep the lore goes and I honestly feel bad for Rebecca. The things that HaMelN was making her chant was demonic stuff and they tricked her into doing that by putting words that sounded similar as to not raise suspicion . I also believe that Wooly isn’t actually a good guy. Amanda seems to be trying to address the problems while were watching the tapes and Wooly shuts her down. We can especially see this in the tape where she said she feels like she’s rotting. I find it suspicious how Wooly was so defiant about it and was trying to convince us that everything was fine. I have so many theories about Amanda it’s actually become one of my favorite games because its so interesting. They definitely put a lot of thought into it and I’m excited for the sequel :)
The thing is, Wooly IS actively helping the player, AND Amanda. He’s only shutting down those things because there’s no way to talk about them without her getting upset. And when she gets upset… well, it doesn’t go well.
