he’s and Liza used to speak spanish to each other during some of their old videos and he was much better back then 😂 needs more practice
i took spanish for 5 years in high school and i know i would not be able to hold a conversation😂but i can read it kind of😂same with french, took it for 11 years and can barely speak a word of it. i just remember basic stuff but spanish i can remember what a lot of the words mean and can read it just can’t speak it very well lol

I‘ve had like 5 years of french in school and another 5 years later all I can say is „my name is“ „how are you“ and „I‘m good“. My school-english was bad, too, I‘ve completely learned it through TH-cam, watching every movie in english or podcasts, over the last years.

I took a year and a half of Spanish so far and I completely understood every word David said but only like 2 words the lady said
clay cartel personally I’ve never had a spanish teacher who wasn’t a native spanish speaker. My teachers would also pronounce their words normally and at their normal pace and it can still be difficult to understand other people lol
clay cartel Language teachers are basically never non-native speakers, like the person above said. If they do change their accents, it’s so it’s easier to understand and replicate for English speakers. It’s not that hard to understand
@clay cartel Well in my experience in middle school, high school and college I've never heard of a language teacher that either wasn't a native speaker, or couldn't speak fluently to the point where they could teach it (and I went to public school in the one of the worst states for education so the standards weren't very high)
