No swamps drained is an understatement. How can you drain a swamp if you can't see what is in it?. Like it or not Trump helped bring what was hidden out into the light so that people can see what was going on and then act on it. So what is stupid on the bill to keep corporate secrets in the hands of the corporation that has the intellectual rights?. Not allowing other countries to take our information to better them selves should be something good not bad. The problem is your afraid of corporation overreach when that is already happening but, the bigger problem is when one country takes knowledge keeps it advances on the knowledge and doesn't share the advancements from the base of which they have stolen. If you think china or any other foreign government is interested in helping the common man your trust is misplaced.
I wish every state has Governor's like Ron DeSantis what a wonderful world we would have. Someone that looked out for the people first.

Governments should strictly regulate and monitor these "bad individuals and universities and institutes", making sure tax payers' money can be really used to generate benefits for Americans.

Eliminate ALL federal education departments. Period. Then eliminate/decrease associated taxes and let municipalities decide what/how to do it, that way decision-making closest to the taxpayers themselves.
