Ron was a great guy and always willing and ready to help, gonna miss him for sure. Great message and tribute to him John! I can't wait to be back down there in South Florida myself, always a blast fishing for those exotics!
You are such a great guy John! I have watched several videos of cameraman Ron. So sorry to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and his family!
Thanks for sharing that John. I didn't know the man. I'm sure he was your friend and I'm glad you mentioned. And to know his path is a great thing. God bless your John, my condolences. John, Everyone knows myself that your channel is about much more than fishing. And we thank you.
7:07 In the 80s there were two different species of peacock bass stocked in Florida (butterfly peacock and speckled peacock). Unfortunately the speckled peacocks weren't able to adapt and survive in these waters and died out. Butterfly peacocks are the only species found in Florida today.
I'm so glad you mentioned camera man Ron. I followed him for a while, and like you said, we're not promised tomorrow. I first saw him with angler up with brant
Thanks for always taking me Bass fishing. I have a creek behind my house, but it has very few bass. So watching you feels like I get to go fishing for Bass.
Your message was excellent. Thanks for sharing your feelings about your friend Ron. I have lost many friends also. Where would we be without our hope. Love your channel sir!
Great tribute and Creek Fishing Adventures eulogy for Cameraman Ron. Dude just oozed loving life and helping others enjoy it too. It's particularly hard when I see these guys younger than me and I'm not ancient but turning 53 this spring definitely reminds me I'm on life's back 9 of the course. Please continue being the man God has you to be and smell those roses on your trips and Adventures. We'll see Cameraman Ron again soon enough. Excellent verse. Blessings
I love watching your winter Florida trips. You catch new species that you don't ordinarily get in Tennessee and surrounding states. It's nice to see I especially like the way you ended this video with a tribute to your friend and especially steering people toward the Lord. Keep up the good work.
So sorry for your loss John, thank you for sharing. Glad to see you've gone to Florida as I've heard of tornados and miserable weather now in Tennessee . I have a suggestion I'd like to make for your videos; we travel to beautiful places as fishermen and as I do, I would like to recommend to you to carry a grocery bag and pick up discarded waste to dispose of as you venture into new territories. You're help in this matter would encourage others to help keep our outdoors pristine as they should be .Thanks so much for your consideration, as well as all of you that read this and can participate !
None of us know how much time we have on this earth and these last few years I’ve really stepped up my attempts at adventure. You inspire me to get out and explore and enjoy every day I can. Thank you for your testimony John, hopefully folks can see that a Christian can be a “cool” guy too!
Im sorry for your loss its the people we meet that makes us who we r a smile a laugh a hand shake a person with a giving heart we r thankful that god shared them with us and we share with others
Great Job honoring your friend Ron. Prayers for you and prayers for his family. Looking forward to the rest of the Florida trip. There are a ton of snakeheads in Florida and they love to slam topwater! Would love to see you get into a mess of them!
Great video. Thanks for sharing about it friend. Sorry for the lost of ur friend. He would want unto keep on fishing and making great fishing videos. Keep pushing forward and keep doing what u love!!!
Great video John, and welcome back to Florida! So sorry to hear about Ron, he seemed to be a great guy. My prayers and condolences to his family and friends. The Glades is a super cool place, just keep an eye out for the gators and snakes around the roadside brush. Great to see my state featured in your videos! 🙏❤️👍🎣
Chocolate biscuits and gravy was introduced to me by my grandma when I was a kid for Christmas! I live in Florida, I’m 43…my grandpa was a pastor. Every night before Christmas I make chocolate gravy and biscuits for my 2 little girls…8 and 12. It’s our tradition, god bless.
Florida fishing is a good break in winter. Sad to lose Ron...been watching him before he started filming his own show and was filming Brandt. My thoughts with family, Sarah and kids.
Will be honest buddy I follow a lot of his close friends and haven't heard anyone mention he was gone, wow so young and beautiful family. May God takecare of him. Blessings 🙏.
I love hitting the Tamiami canal, especially at the bridges as you get closer to Miami. Little 1 inch Eurotackle or z-man paddletails catch everything!
You know, I reached out to you years ago and told you that I'd try and financially support you. My job situation fell on bad times starting in Oct-2021 so I haven't had the means to do so. But, I see where a lot of people do that for you in various ways. John I want you to realize that your love for the LORD engenders a certain amount of trust where people want to follow you. They see the "goodness" and character that you exhibit in what you do. It just doesn't come very naturally to some but for you, it has always been there from your earliest videos. As much as you want to honor Ron, I want you to feel good about who you are as a person, how Christ has made you the vessel that you are in reaching others. You have spread the gospel and I've told you that several times your doing great things with your channel. I know I haven't reached out to you in a while but know this...I continue to be amazed at the "grace" you continue to show your friends, followers and strangers that stumble on your channel. Thank you for sharing your passions with all of us, the LORD and fishing. Because of you, you bless us, the "watchers" of your channel. God bless you John. Still owe you some Mexican food...
Thanks for showing us multi state fishing. I have snow on the ground here and wish I was in a canal in Florida. If I can’t be, watching you is the next best thing! I love that you include a verse at the end of your videos, but I really get a lot when you witness. Thank you and God Bless
I’ve got to do this eventually. Love to cross off a Peacock bass. The Oscars and Gar would be very cool as well. P. S. Glad you mentioned Ron. 👍 my original post was before I watched the entire video.
I've really enjoyed your fishing adventures but I now have new found respect for you and I pray you will have a great Christmas and a blessed New Year!!!
Hard to beat warm weather, and the fish are biting. so sorry to hear about your friend Ron, it is always difficult to process when we lose so many so sudden so unexpectedly. Your scripture was right on the mark. I will pray for Ron his family and yourself. Thanks for sharing your channel. I always look forward to the scripture at the end of the video. God bless you.
Those canals are fisherman's dream, just about endless fishing, do need keep those alligators in mind though, & snakes, it's good to remember friendships & sounds like Ron was a great friend sorry for your lose, he made ppl smile & that makes the world a better place, & you make it a better place by your example of what a Christian should act like & providing fishing entertainment & some of the best drone footage there is! Just keep doing you!👍🎣
Thanks for sharing and most importantly thanks for bringing the Lord into the social media fishing community. Your attitude towards life is refreshing and inspiring. Keep up the great work
kinda tuff to get excited about cichlids... especially since i used to keep them in my home fishtanks... oscars... peacocks... red devils... manaquenses... pretty much all of them...
a lil exotic variety is always nice - maybe you can make it to the ocean too Lewis Carroll Quote One of the secrets of life is that all that is really worth the doing is what we do for others.
Florida is the best for everything fishing. I'm hoping to move down to the Palm Beach area in the next couple of years. The salt is incredible and the fresh is nuts. There is no where else in the US that even comes close. You can go from catching sailfish to clown knife and peacocks in less then an hour
I can't help but notice that you left the kayak in TN this trip. Watching you standing up in the kayak fishing for peacock bass in alligator infested waters and wondering if you will be predator or prey is always so exciting.
That was great John. You expressed your love and respect for Ron very well. I am truly sorry you’ve suffered the loss of your friend. ✌️❤️
Ron was a great guy and always willing and ready to help, gonna miss him for sure. Great message and tribute to him John! I can't wait to be back down there in South Florida myself, always a blast fishing for those exotics!

Really admire your casting accuracy. So important when sight fishing in FL.
I'm very sorry for the loss of your friend John... may he rest in peace.
