It’s absolutely exquisite.
The sides of the case are indicative of their pocket watch heritage and those beautiful lugs look like something from the first generation of watches emerging from pocket to wrist.

The "flute"-design on the side of the case dates back to early days of Breguet ... The intention was to create a less slivery surface so the owner could get a better grip when holding his precious pocket watch...

MrJKL Foams When I was young I also had an alarm sounding that way and like you I love these watches today . Only BLANCPAIN, BREGUET and JAEGER-LECOULTRE do manufacture these mechanicals wonders for our wrists in that perfection and quality...

Amintas Neto A nice sounding alarm can be music compared to any “noise” generated by a smartphone... But in fact there is no music as you probably thought to hear. BREGUET has a watch that plays music, classical music... I must do a video about this one too...

Hi..Thanks for answer ..I didn’t have posibilty to se new Marine collection in alive..I see in alive Breguet Tradition retrograde date in white gold,its amazing,I like it a lot,it’s my friend timepice ..he also have Marine gmt rose gold..but I have filing that I more like Tradition retrograde date or seconds in white gold..

IMO the hour markers look very clunky and unrefined, and the alarm sound is horribly grating. My humble suggestion would be to only have the 12-hour marker as roman, with simple markers for the rest. And above all slow the alarm ringing speed significantly, as well as make the higher frequency bell lower in tone if possible (many of the customers for this watch will be so old they probably can't even hear that frequency very well).

Others, like e.g. Breguet, are also able to manufacture wristwatches that are as accurate too. But Rolex, manufacturing around one Million watches per year, is the only one doing this in such a huge quantity ...

You obviously did not yet hear other so called alarm watches ringing ... Compared to some of them the Breguet is definitely a good sounding, musical alarm...

Does the sound of the BREGUET really remind you of a school 🔔? Then you should go. And get one and see it as the perfect antidote to your little problem...
Imho design of hour marks are bulk and disgusting. They are ruined all idea of Great Breguet elegance! Previous Marine version was much more beautiful. Sad.....
Tastes are different! I like the new ones more... 🤷🏻♂️
