Mark is one of the few small engine mechanics that I consider a true professional. One of the ways to understand his excellent workmanship is the tools that he uses. He is one of the few that has a proper lift to Elevate the machine and clearly show Precisely what he is doing along with his brief But precise. Explanations. Thanks mark for another great video. 👍👍👍
you should use a good anti seize on that that shaft so the clutch will remain easy to remove. But great example. I have not had to do the drive belt yet on mine. I have the little z246
Thank you goin try tackle it mine is same as what this one idk why but seems every time I try to get a belt there is a gray area and I pick up the wrong one hopefully I know have the right one
Question this going sound stupid but so did everything u said in video had put a pulley on bc it was melted in spot ran belt same as u threw all together now wont start if I didn't get clutch right or over tighten it would it make the mower not start? Before I done all this it started fine any help be greatly appreciated
Thanks for the video. I can’t seem to get the clutch off. When I try to loosen the bolt the pulleys move. Any suggestions? I’ve tried to hold the belt but I can’t seem to get a good enough grip.
Exactly my problem right now. I keep turning the engine over. I tried some wd40 but was wondering if an impact would be a better choice over a wrench (would it make a difference really)?
I have a new excite 350 belt drive belt keeps coming off. I took it to the dealer and he found small chunks of a limb down in the pully. Next time I used it belt jumped off again. No limbs around in my yard I got the belt back on and cranked it up belt jumped off again. I bought this new mower to keep the yard cut worry free but turned into a lot of work so far. Anyone having the same problem?
