I have no issues about watching people with big age gap falling in love,if society tolerates older male marrying a young female,it should also do the same with older women marrying a younger man.Yah this film worth a watch and yes the cast done there job well.

I love it when true love wins, it was great that the ML was not stupid and figured out who she was, I like it when there is great acting and l I very lovely characters
ML didn't care that she had an old soul and I didn't care either because the story and the acting are very well done. All the difference between ML and FL was that she had more wisdom and more memories but was pysically in her twenties. There was actually no age gap between them after she was rejuvenated, that's how I took it.
But as you age people younger than you look like babies like I see people in their 20’s I go did I look that young too. It’s hard to start a romantic relationship when you look at a person an think that person looks like a baby 😂
@@jeb284 LOL! You take that view because your body ages with you and one puts limit on oneself what is possible and what not. Which lady looking 60+ would be confident to turn at young man and think: ye, he is handsome, I will try it, he might like me...? It's easier to take them as babies, isn't it - thou they are actually out of reach... let's be honest, that's reality for average women. But if you had a young body again I beleive you wouldn't think that way anymore... I would definitelly take a chance on it no matter how many years would there be stored in my mind... may be I would finnaly be able to avoid mistakes that I made when I was young for the frst time......
@@zdem8259 No this is a difference between female / male thinking. Most women see girls and guys in age groups, it is hard not to group guys in your kids age range as kids to you. Proof this was one of the problems with playgirl magazine, the older women who were buying it asked for older guys. Seeing a good looking guy in his 20s is aesthetically pleasing but not generally sexual for older women. That's why it was harder for her in the movie to date him even when she looked younger.
@@kimwilliams5165 I have such fiziology that most of my life I looked at least ten years younger, I had to show my identity card all up to my 30th to prove I'm adult. So I often had to deal with younger men, who thought I'm of their age group. Also my husband is 5 ysr younger but nobody guesses, LOL. Maybe that's why I have different perception of age gaps.
Often in these stories, individuals commit kidnapping or murder, and then later they are freely among the characters, implying they haven't been held accountable for their crimes. 😮

Oh I wish I could be 20 AgainScript writer's realm of fantasy is very fascinating. Storyline is crisp. Performance wise, the mentally handicapped son was the winner. It is more of a reborn to avenge plot than of a romance genre. No even "Kiss the Bride moment"
Yeah, that is my dream: having 20yrs old body and 40+ years old mind...boy, would I enjoy and cherish my young years way more...!

看完後，感覺像重返20歲那部片，只是這部惡媳婦虐待婆婆,讓婆婆重回20歲，報仇她的媳婦，女主也是愛她的小孩，也知道兒子很傻，被壞女人給呼攏，後面男主也慢慢知道女主是他的長輩，結局真的滿不錯，以為女主會不見

I don't usually mind the age gap but '30 years' mmmm... I dunno how I feel about it, but the scenes where Granny was doing threadwork and the young guy staring at her made it a little uncomfortable to watch. The concept was different and good though, as they didn't have romantic scenes it was fine to watch. But I feel they can make it funnier by adding more scenes of the young version of FL acting like an old lady like being grumpy, lecturing young people, and now being able to eat food that old people can't eat due to health issues, etc. lol.
More of her acting old would have been good. I think he had a crush when he was younger and she was in her 40s. That's not so odd. Plus I think he was drawn to her talent, in the USA this story would follow a woman in her 20s falling in love with a 50 year old male writer who was magically her soul mate. This is actually more realistic in that she had to be young again for him to act on his feelings.
@@kimwilliams5165 what you said about him acting on his feelings only after she turned young, actually makes sense, it's not that creepy when we think of it that way as she is technically in her 20's when he made the move. But in general, when the age gap is above 20 years regardless of who is young and who is old makes it uncomfortable for me to watch. so I couldn't shake off that feeling while watching it.
I'm just happy both parties are above the age of consent. That one comment she made about him being a kid vs him grown up gave me the heebie-jeebies 😂
Finally a new storyline! I loved it so cute and both FL and ML were good in it, and Kerr just steals your heart ❤

1:42:20 看个天马行空的短剧居然给我看湿了眼眶，这个傻儿子虽然是配音，开始看得时候觉得表演有点脸谱化，但看到这里，这个儿子即便是世俗意义上的傻子，也会凭借直觉和线索认出妈妈，即使在“正常人”看来荒谬绝伦的事情，傻儿子也深信不疑，这种母子连心的情怀，这种就算你外在改变我依然能认出你的真情，感人至深😢编剧导演演员都是好样的
虽然剧情离谱了一点，但有一部分其实应该蛮实际的…那就是有弱智孩子的父母担心自己的孩子在过世后，如何自处。剧里就让老太太照顾儿子一生，也算圆满的一段吧！
This was so good. I want to see more like it. Thank you to everyone who worked on this drama, esp. the translators who allowed me to enjoy it in english. The actor who played the slow son did a wonderful job. If this gets remade I can see it longer with scenes of the FL realizing the ML likes her, and an inner conflict over the age difference. A scene with the FL dressing old and maybe a sales person helping her dress younger would help show her trying to get used to being young again. Then the ML directly addresses her fears because he knows who she is, and has always liked her. I would like to see more romantic scenes between them, with the mom coming around when the FL is pregnant and then a wedding. Also having the secondary Fl who likes him enter the story earlier to show he has other options, but just likes her.

This is the second son of bestie falling in love with FL drama I've seen but its a reborn story so the FL is in her 20s. I guess its easier for the bestie to accept than the other drama where the bestie outright had to threaten with suicide to keep them apart for years and the leads had to suffer heartbreak for years.
I saw that one too. I think with China not having enough women, they are trying to get people to accept men marrying older "leftover women" as they are called. It turns out China had a big taboo on older/younger romance before, maybe a leftover from communist times 🤷
But in those dramas they were only 8-10 years apart (in most ml older dramas even young uncles are like 10 yrs older)
Yeah it's not very common to be okay woth yoir bestie getting together with your child regardless of the age gap to be honest.

I am lost watching this drama.. If the FL is in original state, a grandma, and the ML in his 20s then how it will look like in their wedding? Like a mom married to her son.. No offense but i think it's too much age gap. My limit is on 12yrs old age gap, if more then i dont know, i am speechless. That's what i did during watching this drama. Tho there is no intimacy or romance between the leads, still....
The thing here is that she is young again, so they look good together. On one hand we could say she has lots more life experience, but it's not really romantic knowledge because she has only had one dead husband. She knows no more than a divorced woman in her 30s. On the other hand they have stuff in common, she is personally rich from real estate deals, and she is talented which he likes. He also seems to be drawn to her care of her son, his mom seems loving but not as affectionate. In real life I say marry who you want if both 30+ years old, you're grown. However, in this fantasy movie he is in his late 20s to mid 30s but she is 20 again so alls good.
1:15:24 FL gave birth to her kid when 32, ans det her friend’s 18yo son - the ML - when 45 (i.e. 27-year age gap). Died at 68 (when ML was 41) and regressed to 20yo. So ML is now 21yrs older. At this time FL’s son is actually 36 (i.e. 68-32). This is how I made sense of it. 😅
