Thank you
You're welcome
I play pool and have a saying " ya don't learn by winning all the time " . good work
Well said 🤘🏾🤘🏾
I was hoping it would work for you as well! I have a whole roll of that vinyl just sitting around. I could never get the look I wanted. "Vintage" is not good for everything. Keep going you'll get it. Thanks for the video!
Never Stop Never Quit right! Thank you for the support 🤘🏾🤘🏾
I just did this, and this happened and I think it may be getting too hot or it's pressed for too long. I am about to try it again but not press it for as long maybe 20-25 seconds. Also I am sublimating on a 100% cotton black shirt. I laid down an offset on cricut with white htv and then laid the frosty clear vinyl on top and then sublimated. Mine was a fail for the first time because I think once it sticks it is burning. Thanks for this video and keeping it real through trial and error!
I need to revisit Thermoflex and not let it conquer me. Thanks for watching 🤘🏾🤘🏾
You should made a video if we can sublimate on Thermoflex white vinyl for dark shirts
I can that … let me check my supplies to see if I have some.
@@noirkcb I sublimated on a htvront reg white and it worked like a charm. Even tho Htvront sell dark sublimation vinyl . The problem with that sublimation vinyl it feels like a patch. No one has made a video of sublimation on reg white Thermo flex pro and Sisser Easy weed. Because if it works its going to be a big game changer for dark shirts.
@lgnrome appreciate that encouragement. I will have to go back into the laboratory lol
@@noirkcb no problem . Its funny because no one has made a video on that yet. You will be the first one .
@lgnrome I got busy at work last night. Sorry for the slow response
Thanks for such a great and honest video! It’s helpful to know we all go thru trial & error & learn together from it. Regarding the ink blowout, I’ve been told Teflon sheets can cause that with sublimation because it cant “breathe”. I guess the gas created from the sublimation can’t properly evaporate out so it spreads. I asked a vendor about what mil rating of Teflon sheet to use when subbing & she recommended only using butcher paper due to that. I def would have done the same had I not asked. I’m also interested in the difference that white vs frosty clear makes on the vibrancy of the print. Thanks for sharing your process & time!
Thank you for watching and your support Much appreciated 🤘🏾🤘🏾
I will have to try this process again using only butcher paper. My experience with sublimation and my printer sg500 gives me nothing but vibrant colors without adjusting the settings.
Do you have the updated video
Not yet. Thanks for reminding me.
Can I use a black shirt? Instead of a white shirt.
No you have to use a light colored shirt since sublimation has no white ink
I wonder if it’s the Frosty vinyl that makes it look vintage or washed and faded like that.. I do sublimation as well I have the same sublimation printer as you and I hate pressing on polyester I also make tumblers.. i’m definitely learning a lot more with these videos to be able to press on cotton.. I never really dealt with vinyl so the weeding thing has me a little confused honestly 🥴
It may have. I will definitely try again and again until I get it right lol.
I too have had some issues with this thermoflex frosty. My issues aren't the ink spreading my issues are that the paper sticks to the vinyl. Do you have any suggestions. I've had it work a few times but mostly the sublimation paper sticks to the vinyl when I press it for 45 sec at 383 degrees
I’ll have to make another video because I stepped away from the frosty clear.
@@noirkcb That would be great. What do you currently use for sublimation on cotton shirts? Or what do you find that works the best.
@@bigsuperman330 I been using dtf/sublimation method I love it. I have videos check m out
I love how you keep it real
Did you ever figure out what you did wrong?
I need to revisit this application process
Maybe if tou put some oxyclean around?
Oxyclean lol
