@@thesoothebell9776 Both him and JP really have no weaknesses. Their beat everyone in neutral because they have fast buttons that propel them forwards and have supers that can be used offensively and defensively at close to full screen. It's bonkers how little work they have to do compared to other characters in situations like burnout,
@@UserX03 but it's a whole different game, i mean you saw it Daigo was 1 hit twice and Kawano knew when Daigo is low health he becomes the beast that why he was playing defensive but Daigo took the advantage about it
@@neves2493 pretty sure kawano also won the japan cpt qualifier for capcom cup this year too lol. He didn't have to play daigo, but daigo did get eliminated in the top 16 by a cammy.
Yes, you can. But you need to press it at the same time. If you guess wrong and the opponent walked back instead, your throw whiff will get punished. There is an example of this at around 50 seconds into the video.
Daigo is playing defensively at 9.17 Mark. attempting to parry when Kawano is the one in burnout. Kinda strange, but I guess he's thinking Kawwno isn't expecting him to do that, but nevertheless, you have to assume the advantage when you have your opponent in burnout and put mind games aside. That's the stupidest round I've seen him play in ages, making total hard work out of something he didn't need to, and could have avoided with a basic DP on the jump in.
@@hihellokitty85 His Guile was mixed and it was probably based on the season. Before the sobat kick nerf he adopted a walk forward and poke style. It was pretty crazy to watch.
The manner and timing of when he becomes passive in this game is pretty baffling. He often plays excellently during a round then takes a shitload of damage when his opponent is in burnout. It's a shame that FGC Translated has stopped making videos because I would love to hear what his thoughts are relating to his own progress and the game in general.
It's a psychological trick. It's to throw your opponent off. Playing unpredictably is important. Daigo is one of the least flow chart players the games ever seen.
the comeback at 3:04 is crazy 😂
Absolutely crazy last few rounds from daigo here.
Luke's neutral is really f*cking dumb.
For me the level 1 super is too cheap for what it does. It should be a level 2.
St hp into drush is so long range

Age is just a number for Daigo
Thanks for bringing back English Luke :)
Kawano is always in the edge of winning but pressure eats him hard
Right he faced no pressure whatsoever won he won evo in 2022 🙄. He’s not Punk lol

Thx for the spoiler

Diago is too clutch man
Silly question but can you tech throws in this game? Dude got threw 3 times in a row

Seemed like daigo was toying a bit

That's just how Daigo plays. He was super defensive when he mained Guile in SF V.

It coulda been a missed drush input, or he wanted to drush, saw the jump, and aborted the drush plan mid drush input, so it looks funny
Diago is on a tear!
who has the highest MR currently? who is number 1 but real number 1?
Kakeru
@@TheFGCplace Oh really? So Kakeru is 1, and I guess Nemo is 2nd.
