Impressive! I prefer beautiful junk silver coins over coins of numismatic value.
I don’t
Which paste makes it look glass like ?
Constitutional silver*
I think it is diamond polishing paste use that makes it so beautiful! Thnx for the Demo!
Got your own Proof quarter. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I'm pretty sure this quarter would come back 'Details' lol
Just to think that the quarter looked just like this when it was first minted! Insane…
I have some brilliant uncirculated ones from that era, they actually had a much more matte finish and a lot of actual luster, not pure reflection.
I can take a coin worth a few dollars, polish it and attach a backing then sell it as a jewelry pin for $20. That quarter still has value, maybe more than you thought.
Thanks for informative video, and polishing material name
Please see the Amazon link in the youtube description
What’s the last thing u do?
Hi! What do you think about using cotton with a dremel? Do you thinl it would work? I used to clean with toothbrush, but I think it scratches them. Cheers
DjSky I think using Dremel would be too overpolish.
It is recommended that you polish it by hand.
@@ar-restorationreport3126I engraved on the coin after I cut it, I smoothed it with a ceramic stone but it's still not perfect, what do you suggest?

Please Look at it
I do this to every one of my quarters before going to the laundromat on wash day. I just don't trust the filthy quarters from their change machines.
As a coin collector, this hurt me
No body ask nor gives a fck
@@mkbane1262 nobody asked for your 2 cent piece
Jinger Partin who asked for yours ☠️👀
It wasn’t worth any more or less before or after it would have had the lowest grading possible only worth its weight in silver
You collect constitutional silver? Usually people stack constitutional and is only worried about silver content. This guy lives in a foriegn country and used his money to do as he pleases with his coin.
DIY proof coins. Lol
Don't do this with numismatic grade coins, you will destroy their value. However it is interesting to watch!
Looks like the new 2021 quarter.

Hello sir please tell me how I clean copper coins in India
I used 6 type Diamond Compound(#320 to #15000) and Cotton Swab.
I spent two to three hours polishing it.
I hope you're good at it.
Get that quarter graded asap
Why does some of them look like shit and then ome that look like you cloud eat them
Poor coin, lost all it's value
25 cents is worth 25 cents
Thanks for your comment
@@ar-restorationreport3126 would've been worth more due to silver content
@@hdrake99 it should still have its silver value but its numismatic value just tanked cause now it can't get graded cause its cleaned. At least that's my understanding
AR - Restoration Report dude it lost all of its numismatic value as soon as you cleaned the coin. That silver quarter is worth more than 25 cents you idiot, the silver content is where the value is and cleaning the coin further decreased its value, it was worth more untouched.
How much was it worth numismaticly vs weight in silver. I'd say if it has no errors from minting and wasn't a proof coin to begin with, it lost no value. May have even gained value to someone looking for a nice display piece.
It looks worse at the end.
What a waste of time watching
