hiiii! I need some advice I’ve been using ur tuts and some others for all my edits but I can’t make my own transitions I really need help to start making my own transitions cus theey always turn out bad
I’d say to first practice a lot, take inspo from others and once you get the basics down, you can brainstorm your own ideas and try to mimick the movement and transitions in your brain like how you want them to turn out! Ive been editing for years and I just in the recent year found my style so it might take a while

a question! how do u know when to add more nulls? T_T like, when i do transitions with nulls i tend to just use one and it sometimes gets messy lol but when is it a good time to add another null layer? idk if i'm explaining myself T__T
I just add them in between beats so like if i have one beat, i will add a null and two keys so that the beat is in the middle of the keyframes! Its so hard to explain in words T^T💗
@@clqudyszn like the canvas size being the entire paper but when you zoom in it becomes a square? like I have to make all my pngs really small to fit in the square for my edits. Sorry if it’s confusing
Null layers don’t have ratios i think! It corresponds to the ratio of the project! Null layers also don’t have a border or an end, its just an invisible parent layer?😭 HAHA
@@chaewonwowsocoolyay exactly… null layers are just empty layers that u connect ur other layers to. They don’t have a shape, form or a limit to the size. Therefore, it’ll have the same radius and ratio as the other layers! U can just group everything into a rectangle to make it into a square ratio in the end, but idk what else ur asking for 😭??

Hehe thank you! I use mostly pannings (oscillate, swing) and my coloring which I love! I also recommend flicker + lower fps + rgb borders haha

I use NODEVIDEO custom Lut colorings! They’re not free though but I love them!!

What paper overlay did you use to put over the transition
I just searched “paper texture black” on pinterest and then the blend should be “screen” after u import in ur project
