Thank you for coming back into our world, Gord, we look forward to your videos as there is so much to learn from you. Nice bowl and really nice finish whatever softwood it might be. Take care stay safe and keep that cameraman from being distracted by the less important realities of life.

At the end of the day Gord, who cares what type of wood it is, it's a delightful bowl in shape, in finish & I am sure whatever other way people might choose to view it. As a softwood it has responded well to the finish applied. It is good that you like it too. Cheers, Don from South Aust.

Haven't even watched the rest of the video yet, and "in my late 20's" has me weeping with laughter already. I keep claiming I'm in my 40's, and I thought THAT was stretching it - my kids mark it as 75. LOL Keep it up, Gord - good to see you back. :)

Hi Gord, Great looking bowl. Soft woods can be difficult to turn but their grain always makes it worth while. It is nice, in these difficult times, to know that there are still kind and generous people in this world. Take care Gord. Cheers, Huw

Always a great video from you, Gord and this time is no exception. You got style, man! It was nice to see the great finish you could get on that softwood, Fir, I think. And the design change turned out really well, too! Just overall a good time. Thanks, buddy!

Very nice bowl Gord. You make it look so easy- guess that is what talent does. Some of our local woods can sure surprise us with their amazing grain patterns
