Thank you for sharing this, my husband and I are packed up and moving from Florida to LA next week to get out of our comfort zone as well. We know God is calling us to make this leap of faith to find our strength. I pray blessings over your move

Doing something like this does take a lot of faith, and I felt the same way. God was calling me to take the leap, and I'm a firm believer that God rewards courage more than anything else.

My HS friend moved from Kansas City to Florida straight out of college also. We always talked about getting out of KC in HS, but time got away from me and I never did...
Moving from one state to another is pretty daunting, so kudos for being braver than I ever could.

It is daunting, but it's an opportunity that I'm blessed I'm able to pursue. I'm a firm believer that faith and courage get rewarded more than anything else in this life.

The attitude of the hotel desk clerk just blows my mind. Good luck Bro. I just got done redesigning my life too. It works out. Just go and enjoy your life.

Yessir thank you man. I could not believe it either but it definitely made for a funny story. I can already tell that opportunities are beginning to arise that I never would have had without making this leap. I appreciate you Mike.

I’m doing the exact same thing, except I haven’t decided where yet but it’s not gonna be Florida
I’m 31 single, no kids, live in my car, no real job, no plan, figure I do it while I still can

Brother, good luck to YOU. The best thing about it is that you have nothing to lose. Maybe you could document it as well? Sounds like the beginning of a crazy comeback story

this is very commendable. Hope all goes well. I'm 23 right now and just a week ago I decided that I'm gonna move out for the first time to a city 2 hours from here(and with friends). And I thought what I am doing is pretty ballsy,, but I am terrified of finally being away from the security and comfort of parents. I still feel like a kid because my parents still treat me like one and they shelter and provide everything so I'm not the most motivated to learn how to cook or learn car maintenance and finances etc. Pretty much everything you should learn at 18. This will force me to do just that. It's also sad because you will just see your parents significantly less and my culture family typicality stick together. lol making it sound like i'm moving to another country but this is a drastic decision for me and at times I wonder if its a bad idea but you just have to do it first.

Very similar to how I felt before I did this. I'm 23 as well and only about 4 days into this whole thing and it is pretty scary at first, especially when you understand that your life is now entirely in your hands. Moving with friends will make the process easier for you I'm sure, but either way I know you'll be happy to make the jump when you do.

Didn’t think Florida was going to be your target and for some reason I thought you were from Oklahoma 😂.
Anyway glad you didn’t give in to that 100 down payment for the hotel! Ridiculous!
You should put a number on the screen of each video so we know how many days in you are at each point.
So far I am invested in where this is going!

I am from Kansas but I graduated from the University of Oklahoma. A bit confusing so I can see why you thought that. But thank you, and that’s a great idea!
