How to model a "Custom Ramp" in ARCHICAD

- Thanks to Morph Tool and Profile Manager in ARCHICAD, I'll show you how to model a custom ramp.

PS: For those who complain about the speed of the video:
- This is my first time-lapse recording for ArchiCAD and actually it's not an educational video. I aimed just to demonstrate what ArchiCAD can do more for you as a modeling software.
- Most people never watch videos longer than 3 mins. Original rec is almost ~9 mins.
- I don't plan to re-upload it's slower of it just because lack of time.
- This is for those who are already familiar with certain tools of ArchiCAD, so there are only a few tips that they can get out of it.
- Do you know that you can slow down TH-cam videos by yourself? :) (Gear icon on bottom right?)

niice! thank's! it's very usefull, for those who can't watch it because of the speed, please check the settings HD, and modify the speed form normal to 0.25, it's usefull, enjoy! and thanks for the tips man! :) good day!
If you find everything too fast, download the video with any of the youtube to mov mp4 etc. online converters, and watch it slowly or frame by frame on your movie player.

This is what i need at the moment but how could one even see what are doing. Well nice work
It's very helpfull, however i have a problem with the balustrades, when i use 'elevate' option it is elevating, but the balustrades stays horizontal, do you know how to make them follow the ramps with the heights? Thank you :)
You should activate "subElem selection" method (white arrow) under the Arrow Tool, select the section of the ramp and then try elevation again.

Elevation ile birleşim yerlerinden yükseltme yaptığınız kısımları detaylı anlatmanız mümkün mü. Arazi çizerken alan eğrilerinde işe yarar mı acaba merak ediyorum
+44Pbb Subelement seçim modunda iken marquee ile seçip yükseltiyorum, böylelikle sadece o dikdörtgen alanı içinde kalan tek parça yüzey seçilmiş oluyor... Arazi için işe yaramayacaktır bu yöntem... İyi çalışmalar. Ender
when I select the edges to elevate it..its already select the whole element not only the edges.
You have to activate subelement selection with Selection tool. (white arrow)
Would you mind tell us what tool you use when you apply the profile to the line?
I used magic wand when profile wall selected.

Thats a pretty cool way of creating ramps. Pity its no parametric, converting to morph the work flow becomes linear, nearly every time you want to make changes, like to the profile you have to start again. Archicad can do a lot of good things, but is still quite primitive when it comes to modelling. Pity Archicad doesn't have a sweep tool or loft
ArchiCAD is no pity as you think, at least it's your opinion... Take a lot at Rhino-Grasshopper-ArchiCAD Live Connection videos and think again. ;)
Grass hopper/Rhino is pretty sweet tool, but its another app that you need to pay for and another learning curve.

+şükrü kütük Merhaba. Video içeriğinde kaybolan mouse işaretçisi adına bazı noktaların anlaşılmadığına katılıyorum, bu yazılımsal hata sonraki video'larımda düzeltilecek... Tespit etmiş olduğunuz kayıp 3 sn'lik video dışındaki kısımlardan yararlanmış olabilmenizi dilerim.

+ArchiCAD-TR Ben teşekkür ederim ilginiz için. Fakat 2d den 3d ye nasıl geçti ? Belirttiğim zaman aralığında hangi komutta çalışıldığı anlaşılmıyor. Sadece 2d den 3d ye hangi komut yardımıyla geçildiğini söylerseniz sevinirim.
+şükrü kütük Ders niteliğinde olmayıp, biraz "ArchiCAD ile yapılabileceklerin özeti, tanıtımı" maksadıyla hazırlanmış bir video olması nedeniyle araçların seri kullanılmasından dolayı anlaşılmayan noktalar olması doğal... 2D araçlar üzerinde magic wand aracıyla tıklanakara seçili araç uygulanıyor ve yazılım 3D araçları bu 2D elemanlar üzerine uyguluyor.

You're right sir. It's a problem with my screencast recorder software. In some cases, mouse pointer movements can not be detected, sorry. =/
