No comment on this vid ? I think a plumber multitool is a good concept, however, but using a pipe cutter as a main tool isn't the greatest of the ideas. I think a slip joint plier, a pipe wrench, a pliers wrench, a water pump plier, or locking plier as the main tool. I think the HDX seems to have a few intersting handle tools and so does the Kobalt but I think the wood saw, the can opener and the light can be something to be removed from such tool. I think the case of the light its because also the fact it takes a lot of space rather than being an useless tool. I mean I do have a knife with a light and its well integrated however here it's the prime example of a bad implementation and also a bad way to turn it on or off. I would like to see square keys for radiators to purge the air, that would be very useful imo. Same for a bit / socket driver after all these are very useful. Then have a socket set with various triangle and square sockets as well as the special keys. I believe there is other interesting things to think about such a tool like a level, some hook; an utility knife or whatever things that can serve plumbing tasks. A last thing I do like it's the fact they do have outside opening tools :)
I purchased the Kobalt brand multi tool to easily cut 1/2” pvc for a project….and ended up using a handsaw instead. Sure it has a bunch of handy small tools and I’ll keep it. But as a pvc cutter, absolutely not. It doesn’t do the one job it should 😔
