I found with glue and some TLC this kit became one of my favorites. Reinforcing parts where I knew were going to need it with plastic glue made all the difference. I never really handled my kits too much to begin with tho.
At the end you get very nice looking piece of plastic. With little work and some paint this will present itself top notch. So yeah, worth buying for sure!
I just got the white glint kit, the building in my opinion was pretty fun (I only built hg kits lol) and not to mention the finished look of it is just awesome
Hey just wondering if building it was relatively straight forward? Got this kit a while back with building experience so I'm wondering if a basic kit and carefulness would be fine for this
Thank you brother! There will be more AC kits on my channel soon. Hope you will like them too. Also I’m excited as From Software announced that they want to work on next AC installments. Best news ever.

@@ethanspaziani1070 I am waiting for the reissues to be available in my area. I pre-ordered the White Glint with V.O.B. set a few days ago. Can't wait! And when it comes to the games core gameplay. I don't think it will come back as they need it one way or another to sell it to the new generation of players. I'm just happy that we can play a new installment, so… I'm happy anyway. Maybe they will change it later or add some DLC or something for the core players. But I think most games right now, unfortunately, have to make an easy profit. And we, the old dogs, are not the target anymore. I've been a console gamer since 1999, my whole life was PlayStation and Nintendo back then, and unfortunately that golden era will never come back. Nintendo is the last bastion for console gamers who remember what it was all about and I hope they don't change that with the new generation of Switch. Still, the fun I had with AC6 was awesome and I love this game! And on the other hand: Silent Hill 2 Remake and MGS3 Remaster (I don't know why they call it Remake) coming up, Final Fantasy 7R and some other titles are great love letters to my beloved era, so even though I hate most of the new games, I'm glad that I can play such things. Maybe I'm getting old and nostalgic, but I really miss the magic that was there back then. It was like a really good book and great escapism that is no longer present in most AAA titles. Yes, we can find some great, awesome big titles but most are just copy and paste, lifeless creations for profit. Real art is gone in big budget productions. Or I’m just getting old :P
Am personally a big fan of AC line of kits, they are super shitty to build, but if you are willing to put in extra works and time for it, they all will look really great and unique, and will stand out among all the gunplas in your collection. So far, I managed to get 5 of these kits (white glint vob, vengeance, stasis, noblesse oblige and aaliyah krasnaya), looking forward to be getting the malicious and ambient as both will be reprinted this year.
Hello my friend! Thank you for your comment. Yeah they are overall great pieces but build is not a calm experience🤣. But love it anyway. I also preordered all the reissues to have some nice AC display.
Hey, I know I'm 9 months late, but I'm planning to get the Tellus. I built a dozen of bandai kits before, but this would be the first Kotobukiya kit I get. What makes them so frustrating? From the review it seems like as long as you're prepared to glue some parts you should be fine. Is there more to it?
looking to build this soon and im new to model kits, can i ask what kind of glue you used? i def dont want this coming apart on me when trying to display it. great review btw, it looks so beautifully menacing and im ready to take this on :-)
I have built the Mirage C01 Gaea and it's actually a solid piece and actually have some great articulation! The problems with the back weapons easily coming off is there as well as the fact that you ain't gonna pose much with the fist without it coming off is there too. But overall a much more solid build than this kit. But could be just the overall designs of Gen 4 AC looking like Jet with legs being so fragile! And I do agree with you, they look great out of the box!
I’m also waiting for Mirage. I preordered most of the reissues as I would love to have them all in collection. I can’t wait for Bandai 30mm and I really hope that they will do some more from AC!
Ten model (jak dobrze sprawdziłem) był wydany w 2009 rok, gdzie Kotobukiya była w dość wczesnej fazie rozwoju swoich modeli. Polecam sprawdzić jakiś model wydany w ostatnim czasie np. Hexa Gear V-Thor, a różnica jakościowa będzie kolosalna ;)
I meant no snap, just glue modeling by that😉. By today standards from Bandai for example I can agree that we can call this one little archaic. Still love this kit and experience of building it.
@gundamartz I just got my hands on a copy of a 2006 CREST AC koto model kit and I can agree that it's a bit "old" and some parts definitely need glue but it's so far a mostly enjoyable experience
I personally like kits with problems. I've gotten pretty tired of bandai's "problem-free" models lately. Luckily I've found some on the second hand market.
Yeah I know what you mean. Sometimes it’s good to work with the model a little more to bring OoB glory. It’s good motivation also to learn new stuff and tricks.
The 30 Minute Mission pre-orders for the Raven-Nightfall and Schneider AC that Rusty first pilots are both available now along with a weapon kit. They look amazing!!
@@gundamartz I've beat 1, project phantasma, I'm almost finished with master of arena and 2, I've played a good deal of 3 and just started to get into Last Raven, but damn is it hard. Kotobukiya has held the license for YEARS. They have been making kits for just as long, and even action figures since AC2. Way before Bandai-Namco took up publishing. Funny enough, Frame arms kits were borne from Armored Core, especially while expanding during the AC drought. Bandai made 30MM to sorta compete with frame arms... and with that being said, it would be odd for bandai to make and produce kits that could possibly compete with not only gundam, but 30MM. it would compete with 2 of their franchise and 1 of which, put them on the map.
