I'm sure plenty of people have said on other videos but you asked the question here so - Ren is currently in Canada for extremely specialized treatment on a medical visa. He was also in Canada for all of 2023 and most of this year. He'd only been back in the UK for a few months when he relapsed. While in Canada, he did take a few breaks from treatment and visited the US. Whenever he gets out of treatment his longterm goal is to move to LA - it will put him closer to his doctor in Calgary, since he expects to need follow-up treatment for life, and into the US music scene.
He will never be able to do traditional tours, but his hope is that he can have a slower paced schedule or at least a couple shows here and there. It's all up in the air, though, while he sees what the current round of treatment will accomplish and how long it will take. Last time it was supposed to be 3 months and turned into a year and a half.. and the infection wasn't completely irradicated. This round of antibiotics is supposed to be harder. He's struggling at the moment and his team has taken over his social media while he concentrates on the medical.
Moving to LA is such a cliche. I hope it doesn't have a negative effect on his art. I hope he doesn't grow an American accent or get pew pewed 😅
@marydelaney9113 well he spent quite some time here for the stem cell stuff so I'm sure it's more about familiarity and proximity to canada. But also some anonymity. He's known to us but still unknown to a lot of people. LA is a big place. He could probably go under the radar and even do some busking in Venice if it didn't get out. Chinchilla was talking about wanting to move her at her concert. The reunion of the dynamic duo would be epic. Of course I also support the move for purely selfish reasons 😂

Wait till you hear seven sins from Ren!! If you want old skool Ren has a track what you want a homage to beastie boys. Ren is from Wales and resides in Brighton. He has spent the last 18 months in Canada for intensive treatment for his Lyme Disease and other complications. He recently came back home but unfortunately he's gone really bad again with Barteonella an emerging infection brought on by his Lyme Disease. So for the near future he will be back in Canada and future plans moving to the States is put on hold for the foreseeable.

Dude not only do we all accept you but, you’re pleasure to watch. Every thing new I discover with Ren… I get a very similar reaction. I’ve watched Sooooooo many reactors…but it’s so fun watching the increase in your love for this dude. I’ve played guitar and piano my whole life. Never thought anything I did was good… I recorded two tracks on piano. An original, and an attempt at the FFX theme “to Zanarkand” never felt it was good, despite the praise and love I received for my self taught talent….my original was a friends wedding song. He passed away, a while back, and yeah it’ll always mean something to me that someone chose that as their song in marriage. So weird how we’re so self critical…. Anyways. He is based out of Brighton, England, but has been in Canada a lot to get special treatments.
He was in the States a few times over this last year to do a collab with Webby called "Baggage," and for a collab with Prof called "Pain Salesman." Filmed the acoustic for Murderer in L.A., and to Las Vegas with friends to celebrate the #1 Album in the U.K. win for his sick Boi album.
Maybe "Murderer" next as a double because the Acoustic version is also FIRE.
You could do "Troubles" as a double with its acoustic version as well - it would let you know about Rens history so you understand a lot of what he Raps and Sings about.

He has never toured solo, although when he was with The Big Push (oh, yes--he was in a band), they did bit of a tour around Britain that was cut short by Covid. He had talked about a move to SoCal this year, but his health took a turn, and he's back in Canada continuing treatment for Lyme Disease.

He's got so many styles that push boundaries, "Seven Sins" is relentless lyricism in his story and "Lost all Faith" has amazing duality and are my 2 favorites.

Now that I mention it, Genesis also has an acoustic version.
Anytime he has an acoustic version you should check it out... The studio version gets you pumped up and the acoustic really shows off what an incredible musician and performer he is! He often produces his music as well!

This one is a total flex! 💪 it is damn good no doubt, but I do thing that 7 sins is much better. I would suggest getting a feel for ren the person. Maybe check out his “1 million subscribers” video for start. Quick intro and you get to see the kind of man we are talking about here. Also there are a couple songs you need to do a certain way to get the experience. Like kujo beatdown you wanna see sick boi, hi ren, and the explanation video “why sick boi is off streaming platforms” first. When you do the money game trilogy money game 2 is the official lyric video. Lastly the tales of Jenny screech and violet you want the 13 min video. Other than that it’s pretty wide open and if there is a miss out there I haven’t found it yet!
