I haven’t hyped our club up mate. You clearly haven’t watched the video and I make relevant criticisms where they’re due. In regards to the one club comment, Newcastle is a very small city and around four times smaller than Glasgow. Thank you for your comment, Hypocrisy 👍🏻
Y'alreet, came looking but didn't manage to see yee again but will keep lookin! Crackin game, that fella is right about up there in the rafters the away supporters are kept at a distance but considering the colour of their shirts a good atmosphere. We have always been Toon mental, the Saudi money is a bonus but just getting rid of Cashley would have made us smile again, every supporter regardless of chat would want this injection of big cash!! Brentford fans are such a decent bunch, just like their west London counterparts, Fulham and QPR. It begs the question why Chelsea are such pond-life. Anyway, good luck to the Bees from this Toon fan. Long may these good times continue!
Have to agree being parked up in the gods is pathetic I don’t like being put on the side too The away end or atleast section of the end . Every club should do it ♥️👍🏻
take it from me as a Fulham fan, every one of those Brentford supporters in this film had a Community Nurse with them - they are not allowed to travel alone -- -it's a shame, I know - -incidentally, the best team in the north east isn't Mr Big Head Newcastle, but the mighty Crook Town.
We literally don’t have a choice but to put the away fans there, we’re the only club that is exempt from the pitch side rule as the league didn’t deem any pitch side locations suitable
Newcastle is a great away day, not sure I buy the hype that the fans are better than others, seems hit and miss when I been up there with chelsea, its the same at our place, I actually think the atmosphere would improve if you had the away fans nearer the pitch. Safe standing has improved the atmosphere tbf
I don’t think it’s too bad up the top. Away fans always complain about where they are but there’s more home fans sit up there than away fans! I really don’t mind it. Was talking to a castle fan last week on holiday brilliant guy told him almiron was the best for them he went bruno but lovely guy and tbh made me day better as we just talked footy shout to the lad
Hi Emily what football team do you support
Can't wait till the project is proper up n running....what we seeing at minute is just the start...a wudnt be fussed about a new stadium..I like st James's...just sit back n enjoy what shud be the best period in out clubs history.....keep up the good work eddy.....(and the other eddy too..ha ha...)..👍
Great message. I’m almost certain there don’t be a new stadium though 👍🏻
@@TynesideLife cheers eddy....thank God no new ground...st James's is where should stay...it's iconic in the city..
Hey Eddie this video has made me miss home….looks brilliant on the town again man 😎
Cheers Dom 🤛🏻
@@TynesideLife I’m coming home next year I’ll bring me grandad to meet ya after the match 😀
.
@@Brearo look forward to it Dom 👍🏻
It’s sad that you have to debate whether it’s safe or not to wear your shirt. Especially if your not some big bloke who’s obviously not looking for trouble. Good to see.
One club city they should have big attendances, stop hyping yourself into something you aren't, Glasgow has two huge clubs with huge following
That old man can stay away from the stadium, then. 😂 Nice to see the Brentford fan’s enjoying our stadium, city and friendly nature.
He was funny 😆
Atmosphere was only 25% if that yesterday. When you play the small teams it’s not the same. Same for every club IMO
Nice vid eddie keep em coming m8
Apart from the red and white stripes Brentford are welcome up here anytime.😘
🔴⚪️🔴⚪️🔴⚪️👍
I think the best over all vocal support i've heard at St James's was from Royal Antwerp.
HWTL
See you at the Everton game Ant 🤛🏻
There is always one unhappy soldier .
😂
Going only from experience. 1) Everton both home and away, 2) Leeds fans, 3) Villa, 4) Newcastle. Seen these all home and away 3 or more times
Brentford fans are such a decent bunch, just like their west London counterparts, Fulham and QPR. It begs the question why Chelsea are such pond-life. Anyway, good luck to the Bees from this Toon fan. Long may these good times continue!
Have to agree being parked up in the gods is pathetic I don’t like being put on the side too
The away end or atleast section of the end .
😂
Yeah you are welcome in the Toon!
think we need a bigger singing section tbh, its only that gallowgate corner, coz the Brentford fans are right, it does get a bit quiet sometimes
I can’t even hear the Gallowgate from the NW corner
The old guy at 7 mins must be related to Johnny Rotten
😂
I thought that as well!
We literally don’t have a choice but to put the away fans there, we’re the only club that is exempt from the pitch side rule as the league didn’t deem any pitch side locations suitable
That old boy was a tad bitter 🤣
😂
Sunderland fans are the best
Obviously 😂
Woody is our man
Nice to see a day when we don't have to collect for a food bank.
It’s the future I’m afraid 😳
Not too sure what the 2 woman were talking about, the atmosphere was brilliant, all game
It’s odd how we can all hear different things. We can’t hear the Gallowgate end 😅
Newcastle is a great away day, not sure I buy the hype that the fans are better than others, seems hit and miss when I been up there with chelsea, its the same at our place, I actually think the atmosphere would improve if you had the away fans nearer the pitch. Safe standing has improved the atmosphere tbf
Great points Paul 👍🏻
I don’t think it’s too bad up the top. Away fans always complain about where they are but there’s more home fans sit up there than away fans!
I really don’t mind it. My season ticket isn’t up there but I’ve sat up there loads and think it’s fine. I’ve sat near the top of the Nou Camp for anyone banging on about being up in the gods!
Good point ☝️
😂 that old lad was having none of it, 🧂
😂
“Park em up in the corner”😂😂
😂
How can u get an honest reaction, being a Toon fan with a camera in people face, "Do you like me", lol.
Put that into a sentence that makes sense bud and I’ll respond 👍🏻
That one guy! 😆
You got some raw fans there Eddie. Can't help but thinking if they didn't get pasted 5-1 they may have heard the singing more
They seemed genuine to me Owen. For example, I can rarely hear the Gallowgate end sing but I’m sure they’d say the same about us. Maybe it’s the stadium?
@@TynesideLife Ive had a season ticket in level 7 and it's like there's two sections, the gallowgate and level 7. I wasn't there but when I was in the Ashley era level 7 always had a fine voice
Anfield European night can’t be beat in England
Premiership
Liverpool v United pure venom you can feel the hatred . But it’s fun .
And wearing colours is the best way to stay safe !! Trust me 👍🏻🏴♥️
Me and my son walked passed the percy and 4 Brentford fans were trying to get into a fight with the toon fans....don't think they knew where they were.......
In the video I interviewed the lads who were at the Percy. They were great. Could the situation have been misinterpreted?
