‘If you know this song’… like the back of my hand. Absolutely mind blowing. The horns were absolutely spot on. No one can be Cetera or Terry Kath (RIP)…but wow. They emulate that incredible sound and energy so perfectly. Music is transcendent…and this is just great music.
TWA guy here who also loves Leonid and Friends...and Chicago, and BS&T, and Tower of Power, and EW&F. Besides all of those, if you haven't done Superstar or Ain't Nobody or Vehicle yet, please do!
So the song was written by Robert Lamm, of then Chicago Transit Authority, and it's about questions he had about a girl he knew in 1968 and 1967. Peter Cetera was lead vocals and Lamm was secondary. In 2008 Lamm said, "it’s about a girl I knew during those years with a hint of acid imagery and very Beatles influenced. The lyrics include the title phrase only as the last words. Full story is in Wikipedia. I remeber hearing this song on AM radio, in the car, before FM was a thing!
This group assembled by Leonid are amazingly good. Check out "I've Been Searchin' For So Long." Leonid and Friends do this beautifully. Absolutely beautifully. Trust me on this one.
It's a shame that Serge, the lead vocalist on this song, can no longer tour or record with the group. He is from Ukraine and is home fighting for the survival of his country. Slava Ukraini !
Very talented guys, to be sure. However, as I listen it reminds me how awesome the _real thing_ is - why am I listening to a tribute band when I can go listen to Chicago? That leads to another thought: why am I listening to a guy interrupting a tribute band, to tell me how awesome they are as a copy of the original? Don't do drugs, kids - later.
Here's yet another thought... why do you feel compelled to type a relatively nasty comment into this insignificant youtube channel - simply for the sake of being nasty? I'm just trying to have a little fun and spread my love to music. If this content offends you - please go elsewhere. Thanks.

When I saw them live... the first time in 2019.... They started with Make Me Smile. There was no Ksenia. I thought, "Maybe she's sick today. Drat!" She came out for their third song. I was relieved. I should have initially noticed the one unused microphone wrapped in pink.
❤❤❤ wow that's awesome

They did!
Love these guys! Love how they can just plug guys in and not miss a beat when people leave. They just kill it with everything they do!
I love this band. Jaw- dropping great. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Beats the old fogies, modern day Chicago. Serge sings from Kyiv.
Fantasy and September by EW&F are must sees. These guys have taken the originals and breathed new life into them. Videos make the difference too.
Hey Scott. You need to check out their latest cover. Boogie Wonderland - Earth Wind & Fire. Spot on!!!
They were the questions that came after "1 thru 66", ... :o).

Great song and incredible rendition!
@@RockandRollRelic You have seen the Chicago concert from back in the day right?

I think these guys are studio musicians so they are the best of the best. It explains the precision between their version and the original.
Leonid when young in Russia couldn't buy a Guitar, He had to make his first Guitar.
brilliant
Listen “speck of dust” by Leonid & friends…

no doubt

I'm sorry... my bad. I intended to say my 'love of music'... not to music. :)

I think this is my least favorite song that they do. I just realized it's because Ksenia isn't in it lol.
