I'm not a filmmaker. I'm a music composer/musician. I've also moved to LA years ago. This is the first video I'm seeing from you and that's a very inspiring story man. Keep up the good work!
OMG i felt this because i did the Exact same thing. Worked in sales for 10 years until i quit, started chasing my dream to shooting music videos and other production about 2 years ago. A year ago me and my girlfriend dropped everything and moved to Phoenix AZ. I used to drive postmates with a Car on the repo list, Sad to say me things didnt spark off for me and my GF of 6 years and we broke up due to finances, due to me chasing my dream. :( But im still pushing and trying to network an hopefully things will get easier for me one day because this is my passion as well... I found you because im looking to switch to Fuji XT4from my Sony A7iii. I enjoy your content man keep pushin ✊
Bro. I’m coming up on a year of freelance, and I too worked at a Porsche dealership doing content full time in St. Louis before making the leap. Amazing video, dude. 👏🏽
Dude! You know the first time I watched your TH-cam video I was convinced you are the real deal and there was something about you I could connect with. This video confirms that. You are human AF, honest, hardworking, genuine and I personally appreciate that. You inspire me, buddy. Wow.
Ubok Akpan beyond happy and thankful for your comment here man. If my story helps even one person it’s all worth it. Thank so much that comment really meant a lot to me man.
Thanks for this wonderful statment.......i am changing my life now with being 52 years old. It seems to be the last kick to keep going for my dreams. Thanks Sean,....very very apreciated.
Frank Weber 52 years is never too old man. Please do me a favor and watch the video “carved in mayhem” on Vimeo. A story of a 52 yr old boxer who is coming back. You made me think of that. Work of art and touching. Thank you for watching my video. All the best to you man and much love.
Congrats man, you deserve all the good things you get!! You're inspiring. I wish you the best for 2020, and thanks for all the honesty you show on this and all your videos. Regards from Paris
Literally same here. Quit my day job and live paycheck to paycheck freelancing, i'm able to pay my rent. But at least i'm finally my own boss doing what I want to do with my life lol stay strong and keep it going! Things will only get better.
If this video effects just 1 person that’s all it needs. This is not to be negative not to be down. Just the facts and the truth. I am so thankful for all the experience I’ve gotten over the past year. Thank you to the whole LA film community for all you’ve given me.
Man, this really hits home. This is me right now. I’m about to leave my job to move to Los Angeles. My girlfriend is already in California waiting for me. I’m feeling so much anxiety and thinking I’m crazy, but I just have that feeling that I’ll never forgive myself if I don’t try and become a filmmaker and creative person. You’re story is proof that you can push through. I just want to thank you so much for sharing this story that is so raw. Maybe I’ll run into you at work down the line. Be well!
Amazing how far you have come and yet it seems you're many many miles ahead, stay strong, you're a believer and you have a lady who has your back, that's a great combination. Thanks, Sean for sharing your real story. Yes, it's an emotion-filled story, yet inspires me because you're the real deal.
Kamishimo Productions thanks so much! Really that means a lot. Many of this things were hard to talk about in certain areas and there’s definitely more to the story. But I appreciate you for watching and I’m glad it had an impact on you.
