Im actually thinking of an escape hatch in the floor . For anyone new here , this is a very well balanced van life channel. Definitely the most honest one ive come across. For anyone about to get into it , I'd think about it carefully , if you are the sort that doesn't like conflict or that authorities make you nervous its probably not for you and worse its getting . Personally i still think its well worth a bit of attitude here and there most you can ignore anyway . Currently looking at 5 or 6 counties, probably, from the mountain im parked up on . Have a good look at these guys other vids , loads of valuable information in there . I just love their attitude, great ambassadors for van life.
I'd agree with that. I'm a nice enough guy, but if you piss on me I'd have plenty to say back. But my general attitude is treat people as you want to be treated. Can't go far wrong with that.
I ignore these no overnight parking signs unless it states that a penalty charge is in force. Never had a problem over the last 4 years overnighting. If someone parks on your private drive the authorities say its a civil matter and refuse any help. Of course if Police can be bothered to show up and ask you to move its best to move on..
£30 to park for the day. Madness. Looks like you were both having fun, well until the satnav error. Keep Loving the Adventure Both. Love and Big Hugs ❤❤
Oh dear!.Never had that happen in thirty five years of driving Luton bodied vans around Somerset. First rule, if it looks narrow, get out,and check width, and height.
Back up a few feet and floor it. I had a Specific motorhome sat nav gifted. It was useless at low bridges and widths. We don't use it anymore. I think you might have pulled you neighbour 😂😂
Had i of known that you were coming to Devon, i could have come along to meet up. Dorset is a lovely county and i have visited there more than any others over the years. Glad to see you both out and about discovering the south of the country.
I just watched the TikTok of the driver coming behind you 😅
Still editing the 'get out' video.
That spot on the ocean is probably closed because it's too dangerous to swim, unless they are protecting seal habitat....

The SATNAV error was sorted but I dare not speak for quite some time. He told me to reverse... the corner I had just come from was awful.
Sioux. ❤️
If people keep paying it, they will keep charging it. 😒
@Roadshome sad to say, the few will pay. The hire vans and posh weekend warriors with thrre quarter million van
.
£30?!!! Feckin outrageous 😡
I know mental and there were quite a number of vans in there. I guess if people are still paying it then they will keep charging it.
