😂😂😂😂😂 I'm laughing at his 300 million ?? No thank you... At 11.50PM carrying an 8 month old baby in my womb... Thankyou Matthew for making us laughhh harderrr
Absolutely agree with Ross when it comes to the lottery. it's bs and often the way for all these companies to drain you out of money, meanwhile, in the end, only one very very, very, very lucky person wins. Also, often it's a scam too. The Emma thing was hilarious. Ross and Rachel were very forward-thinking parents.
Lottory has more wins than the jackpot. Also in my country the main lottory’s profits go to charities (since it’s government organised). Usually some youth sports. So it’s a fun way to give to charity if you don’t win. That’s the origin of many lotteries. The building of British Museum was funded this way for example.
That's not about why they weren't listening to him though. They know exactly what he's talking about, obviously they expected that theres a very high chance they wont win. But it's not about that. This is literally them pooling their money and having a wonderful fun night together and Ross is coming in being a spoil sport like oh what's the point you wont win yadah yadah. Not everything is about material gain. Can you imagine if your friend never wanted to do something fun unless there was a quantifiable guarantee that they'd get something out of it? Not saying Ross is always like that, he's quite fun other times. But I'm just saying they weren't ignoring him because they dont believe what he said. They literally just wanted to have fun together, even if they dont win anything. Not everything is about that. That's why they bag on him alot. Because he's always so intent on being so logical and straight about everything. Just have some fun, it's 50 dollars a person who cares!
@knash he is not annoying, Ross has his own convictions and it's very good. that's all. also, this was necessary for the whole plot in this episode, genius.
1:14 1:28 1:45 2:09 I feel like Chandler was being a smart-ass to Ross and Joey in this episode. Judging Ross for speaking childishly so he and Rachel can be prepared to hear Emma say her first word, ridiculing him when he keeps bragging about winning the lottery, treating Joey like a child, taunting them both when they say what they wanna do with their money if they win the lottery, and mocking Joey when he says buying lottery tickets was his idea in the first place. Seriously, I love the dude, but there’s still times where I wish he would just shut the hell up and stop being so rude, smug, cocky, and snobby. Honestly, I think Chandler is overrated. P.S. It was very satisfying seeing Joey intimidate Chandler at 2:12. P.P.S. RIP Matthew Perry. Even though I’m not the biggest Chandler fan, you’re still amazing! 🤩🤩🤩👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I agree. I always thought Chandler/Perry is very overrated. David had way more acting talent, his general comedy was way better, his delivery, comic timing as well, and it goes without saying that David's physical comedy was unmatched. Ross was great and the funniest for me, since day 1.
@@ToCam-fl8ryYou, my friend, are speaking my language! David is hands down the best actor in the show. His line deliveries, facial expressions, and body language are sensational! And Ross was always the character I related to the most.
@@ToCam-fl8ryFrom acting point of view David and Lisa are the best in the show. No doubt about that. Chandler is special cuz of the writing behind his character. It's a character that uses humour as defense mechanism to deal with his social awkwardness and insecurities. Over the course of the show we see him grow, overcome his fears of commitment. It's the writing that's makes him such an iconic character.
As someone who loves Ross and considers him the best Friends character, I’m completely on his side here. Becoming obsessed with winning the lottery is a bad habit and can cause you to waste all your money. And he was right all along, as they never won the jackpot thanks to Phoebe dropping all the tickets. But as usual, his friends take the piss out of him for their own amusement because they’re idiots. 🙄
Obviously you shouldn’t become addicted to gambling. But the occasion thing like this were you and your friends pitch in can be fun. You don’t necessarily care if you lose cos you’ve had fun. The real key to gambling is making sure you never lose an amount which will put you in a bad position financially.
Guys How’s it going ? BTW Dinesh should stop sending emails to our neighbor; it’s pointless. You know very well they are learning it the hard way on the real diplomatic front. So u can stop emailing DB. Thanks for the support. 😂
0:11-0:23 Even though I can’t stand Joey in the later seasons, due to the writers making him even more stupid and childish, I still felt bad for him here. Monica was being a rude, bossy, patronising, possessive bitch, which just proves how much the writers flanderized her character. Especially when she bought tickets for only herself and Chandler and said money was more important than friends. I really wanted to punch her in the face! P.S. I also can’t help, but feel like Monica hates Joey in the later seasons. She’s constantly scolding and scowling at him, which is somewhat understandable, considering how like I said, the writers made Joey even dumber in the later seasons, but I also feel like she was jealous of his friendship with Chandler and thought Joey would ruin her relationship with him. 😤😤😤
agree completely. Monica was written terribly between seasons 7-10. She became emotionally abusive, controlling, and mean. In earlier seasons her obsessive issues were cute and toned down, in late seasons she became grotesque. I've been writing here this for a long time: Mondler was not the best couple, and they became awful in the last 4 seasons, especially after the wedding, yet so many fans don't even see it. Yes, they had cute scenes here and there, but mostly Monica became awfully controlling towards Chandler, never compromising with him, often mean to Joey and others, and Chandler became a total wimp afraid of her. it was not healthy at all.
@@russelconor8704 Agreed. But for what it’s worth, at least they were still a more healthy couple than Ross and Rachel, as they didn’t constantly squabble like toddlers.
@@n19ntendodsWhen Matt first got the role, Joey was actually supposed to be mean but Matt questioned why would the others be friends with him and that’s when he suggested they should make Joey a dumb character instead.

Yet nobody bothers to point it out because of how hilarious his sarcasm is. I’d also like to add that I think Ross was actually being mature and responsible, since the lottery can make you waste all your money.
