I’m an old AFL fan, and highly appreciative of these classic videos. My dad said that while greeting George Blanda, that guy had the biggest hands on Earth.
Thanks for posting this. I was at all of the Oiler home games the first three years of the league and the 1st and 3rd AFL Championship games. I will never forget the Billy Cannon touchdown run in the 1960 title game.
did you ever hear about howard glenn? “He was the only AFL player to die from injuries sustained in a regular season football game.” weird how no one is talking about him, he died in that season at a an oilers home game.

I loved the AFL way of playing football, wide open with lots of scoring. I wish they could have remained as an independent league while still competing for pro football's ultimate prize with the NFL
Bill groman the rookie with the most receiving yards in a season just got it broken by Puka nacua what a crazy stat tbh
I love these old movies. They're classics.

I was only seven years old but remember going to those games with my dad.
So Happy that the Oilers got a chance to taste a little success while they were in Houston.
As a Steeler fan I'm happy to see this 👍
R.I.P. Howard Glenn
He was the voiceover guy?

Glenn was a New York Titans player who died from heatstroke after a regular season game in 1960.
