I used to watch Southern Marching In the Mardi Gras parades in New Orleans when I was a kid. I've always wanted to be in this band. It's something about this band make me feel good. I'm glad that the "Jukebox".stayed together in the tough times. It paid off. Good Job SU !!!
Southern just passed the grandstand in the Rose Parade seconds ago! Powerful and majestic! The Dolls looked stunning. This Howard graduate couldn’t be more proud👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
EXCEPTIONAL!!!! Loved , “Circles” arrangement and formations!! The Dolls are gorgeous and on point as always! My HBCUs very well represented! Great job Jukebox!!
Bravo Southern! HBCU bands impress because they work to entertain. Most American high school bands today seem to work mostly at impressing; entertainment being a possible sidelight. As an old white bandsman, I prefer watching HBCU entertainment to many current day high schools attempts at impressment . Only one complaint! How come the shortest player on the field - a trumpet - has no white plume? They need it the most. Thanks for posting this great band!

Taurean Livermore HBCU bands always tear the house down. Often imitated, never duplicated.
@@taureanlivermore4380 Why does he have to PROVE why he likes that band....
Loyal1914 That is the whole band with the exception of a few missing dancing dolls
So talented! I could listen to them all day!

Everyone has a plume,it most likely fell off during the drill
@@MrHyde-504 Thanks, now I see. It's an energetic performance by everyone that could certainly cause "loose plumes." What a show!
