My Polish grandmother in Milwaukee was a first cousin to General Tadeusz "Bor" Komorowski (1895-1966) and our family has letters from him. Also my grandmother's uncle and aunt were General Tadeusz Rozwadowski and his wife Maria Matylda nee Komorowska. I believe my grandmother was the first child of a Polish noble confirmed by the Austrian Empire and Russia to be born in the USA. My great grandfather from Galicia was the only sibling in his family to come to the US. All of his forebears were Generals in the Polish Insurections. My grandmother saved all of her father's letters from his grandmother and correspondence with her cousins in Poland. My cousin wants the grandmother's letters to go to a museum in Poland.
