i try to get maximum power possible with fg buff,dmg buff,potions and frenzy and max dmg items and i got 10k+ with cabra tremors it's sick
Yeah they did, they limited it to 12 ticks apparently. I always thought it was 6 but I tested it and it's 12.

Where is Scylla's I'm a Monster? As that can reset on a kill meaning you can potentially use it 5 times hitting multiple people each time as well
Crazy Razey Didn't really consider the reset mechanic. It's a bit situational in how much damage it does (kinda like devour souls). Whereas the other abilities in the list can always do their full damage no matter what.
This whole list is situational being that most of it is DOT damage which you can easily walk out of and Bastet cats late on die so easily. I just don't get how you dont even mention it at all one of the best abilities to get a Penta with.
My logic was kinda that it's the most damage a single cast of an ability can do. Scylla's ult is technically multiple casts. If we're gonna go even further Scylla is technically infinite damage as long as you have people to kill. So idk, a lot of complications with it so I just didn't bother including it.

I didn't count Soul Reaver's damage into the calculations for total damage. I just went with a typical mage build to represent the magical side of things.

you forgot ymir ultimate and isis ultimate- fully loaded ymir ult does 2/3k dmg and isis ult 6k if enough damage got made
What about the top single hit damage abilities? These are all nice but impossible to pull off in practice most of them.
Anubis and Hades you can get plenty of ticks to add up to a ton each time as they are cc immune. After them maybe Nu Wa and Vulcan as for what happens with their ultimates Ymir and Ares are crazy damage with high survivability builds as is Sobek and Kumbakarna. Loki Ult and Medusa Ult are both easy confirm damage and we are not even going to talk about Mr 3 Ult He Bo.

I remember playing cabraken on the old joust map, build bancroft and poly and pen boots, he never fucking died and healed near instantly when he tremors, also one hits after healing back up
He didn't mention Scylla, if she hits 2 enemy gods, kills one, and then repeats with the entire enemy team, dealing roughly 1200 per hit, that means she can hit up to six times and deal over 7000 damage, this is Actually the highest damaging ability in the game, even if it is NEVER going to happen

I explained on another comment further down that I didn't want to include Scylla ult since it's quite inconsistent and relies on kills plus takes multiple 'casts' to do all it's damage.

Would've made a lot more sense if you went by non item builds. Lvl 20 gods, no items, go from there. The total damage + the percentage would've made for a much better comparison than "normal mage builds." there is no such thing, since every game you should be looking at counter items, and most effective items versus the enemy team comp and item builds.

counter items? HAHAHAHAHA, most people don't do that. I have played since beta and never once swapped my build to counter the enemies items. I build for god counters, not items, items can be sold.
andrew10022 I'm not sure. I've looked at my enemies build to decide if that assassin is going basic or ability to decide on hide of nemian or valor. I've looked at enemies with gem of iso so I counter with witch blade. I've had teammates build anti heal to help shut down a lifesteal on gods.
Counter items is as you said mainly geared towards god counters, but if you look at what the enemy is building, it'll help make decisions for your own items.
Even then, counter items was the last words on my entire point. Because as you said, items can be sold. Same as the video, going with raw god damage instead of "normal mage builds" is a lot more indicative instead of just assuming we all use a generic mage builds or know of one since these change often.

Then how do you compare Physical to Magical? If you only count scalings and base, physical abilities will lose all the time.
Says no inconsistent damage includes Cabrakan tremors, silence, knockup, knockback, mana, death, but yeah, "Cabrakan does most damage" with one ability

Team TayTay The entire list is pretty much abilities that won't ever do their full damage in a real game. Cats are no different. Whereas kaldr would be unfair since it does infinite damage with a single cast.

Asher I think they limited Ganesh ult to only hit a max of 6 times or something. So it wouldn't do all that much. Not like Old wa ult that could literally one shot anyone.
Tremors has 700% scaling, that's the only reason it does so much.
Inters3ct Gaming I used Ganesha in a jungle practice yesterday and his ultimate ticks twice per second. That would put the damage at around 3000 with no build.

Don't be fooled by that #1 slot, though. Any hunter with full build will be able to burst down any other god waaaay faster with only basic attacks. Most damage, but definitely not fastest 100-0 in the game.

Just have geb and interrupt Cabroken tremors however stopping Anubis Ult. Running away or killing Anubis you can not cancel it as he has CC immunity

I know u wanna use trans and Thoth for builds because they supply a lot of power, but they're also dependent on a characters mana which will very, just saying
"Says he doesn't include some abilities in there for certain never gonna happen situations, but procedes to count a 10 second duration Cabrakan ability and 30 ticks of damage in 10 seconds from Bastet's cats." That's a funny joke. Never have I ever seen either of these abilities do full damage especially with these builds. It really is a joke. 3 and 1 are just pranks. You might as well include executions, Kaldr and Vulcan turret for as much sense as this list makes.

With your physical build Guan Yu's ult will do 2706 damage total on a single target
1st hit = 301
2nd hit = 362
3rd hit = 422
4th hit = 482
5th hit = 542
6th hit = 603
Double stack is better than stack + obsidian for an huge amount of damages as a mage in my opinion. And I think that it could be more accurate to show abilities damages in one hit only and not DoT, like Kukulkan, Poséidon, He Bo or many other gods x)
Meta In a real game that damage will be basically more or less the same than a build with Ob Shard because you have no pen.
But Obsidian Shard doesn't transform your damages into true damages, it just ignore 1/3 of enemy's magic armor, so it surely more accurate to optimize the power in the build to show the TRUE maximum damages (before armor's mitigation) '-'
I tried to go with a build that was realistic to have in a real game. With a few Pen items and only 1 stacking item. Otherwise I could just go no boots and triple stack or something. But that's pretty unrealistic and not relevant to a real match.
Double stack is really common in Normal game x). I just agree for keeping your boots to stay realistic x)

It is also posible for AMC's "BEES!" ability to do infinite damage.
I tested Ne Zha ult even with DB and Runeforged. Wasn't enough. Merc wouldn't be able to crit for 2600 without potions and FG and red buff. Freya and Pos probably wouldn't either. Since Freya's damage from a single ability (Irradiate) wouldn't be that high. It's the combination of Pulse, Irradiate and basic attack damage that does it all.
Inters3ct Gaming with max atk speed and highest power I could get (with only items) Freya's irradiate can reach 2587 damage.
Ymir ult?
your damage numbers are wrong because in the video the gods did not have equal magical power since they don't have the same mana pool and used book of thoth. And you forgot to mention scylla because its technically possible to hit her ult on someone 5 times and since her ult has 120% scaling and 800 damage at lvl 20 with 700 magical power which is less than cabraken in the video that makes her ult when it hits 5 times on someone doing a woping 4000 + 600% of her magical power thats 8200 with 700 magical power making her ult the highest damage ability in game and before denying it can happen it happened to me on hercules i got hit by that ult 5 times and survived because i got hit twice the heal went off from his mitigate wounds got hit twice used bracer for a full heal then hit a fifth time.
and scylla's ult can techincally hit the titan 6 times.
I didn't include scylla ult since it's too inconsistent. The rest of the abilities on the list will always so their full damage no matter what as long as people stand in them. Whereas Scylla's requires hitting multiple targets and such.
I didn't calculate damage numbers from ingame. I just used 716 magical power for every god to make it fair.

They limited it to only being able to hit like once per second or something. To prevent the shake and bake. Pretty sure it's not that high damage cause it can only hit like 6 times or so.
What about "I'm a Monster"? I've hit harder with that than half of these?
For a single cast it doesn't make the list, if you count resets as 1 cast of the ability then yes it does more than some of these, but not with a single hit.

Well i think Cabrakan shouldn't be here because its like the same with Vulcan's turret. It can deal lots of damage but only if you stay in there, therefore i do no think Cabrakan should be ranked in this video
Doge The reason he didn't include Vulcan Turrent is because Vulcan Turrent can deal an infinite amount of damage, but only if it isn't destroyed and you stay in it, since it doesn't have a cool down after being placed, as in it doesn't decay and can stay on the ground infinitely until Vulcan places another Turrent or someone destroys it. Tremors has a 10 second time limit, so he can't do damage infinitely, he can only deal damage in a 10 second time frame

Then a situational defense or damage item.
If you need more magical defense Genji's or Pestilence are good. Frostbound hammer is good too for offense.

I only took Scylla ult as hitting once. Since the reset are too conditional, requiring enemy gods to reset it. I tried Ne Zha ult and it wasn't enough either.

Nah Cabrakan's 1 doesn't even do that much. It only 1 shots with Poly, E-staff and Soul reaver all at once. These abilities didn't account for soul reaver damage etc anyway.
