I was wondering though since i want to do medicine and since you are doing it as well how did you tie in your debate experiences and interest in medicine on your applications to show how one benefited your motivation in the other? Or basically how did you tie those to things together on your application?

I am actually studying political science, but I think you can absolutely tie debate into your interest for medicine! Consider thinking about how the lessons you've learned in debate--or the character traits you've grown to have because of debate--might be applicable to medicine! Hope this helps :)

Hi Elizabeth! I’m working on making more videos with advice asap :) but for now, some general advice is to think about why you are participating in the activities you are in and what your greater impact is on the communities you are a part of!
What is ballet like at Stanford? I'm a senior applying rn and I def want to do ballet but only casually (not majoring in dance). Is there an audition required for classes? Are you required to minor in dance or be a part of the Cardinal ballet? Also I love your video sm!!
Hi Bess!! I was in the same position! There are ballet classes that you can take for credits and to put towards a minor (im enrolled in one of these this quarter which is what you see in the video). I’m also in the Cardinal Ballet Company, which has been a wonderful community of dancers :)
