Synopsis:
Code 8 is a Canadian film set in a world where individuals with extraordinary abilities live in poverty. Conner Reed (Robbie Amell), a young man capable of generating electricity usong his own body, struggles to make ends meet while caring for his ailing mother. To support his family, he enters a lucrative criminal world led by Garrett (Stephen Amell), who works for a powerful drug lord.
In the sequel, Connor completes his prison sentence and attempts to lead a quiet life as a janitor at a community center. However, his efforts to stay out of trouble are disrupted when he's compelled to aid 14-year-old Pav (Sirena Gulamgausin) evading a group of corrupt officers led by Sergeant King (Alex Mallari Jr). With the introduction of new robotic K9 units to track Pav, Connor faces a dilemma-reaching out to Garrett and his crew for assistance means trusting the very man who initially led him to prison.
