@@sking0707but racism and systemic are two words that exist without each other. Not All racism is systemic. Racism is under the discrimination umbrella, and under all discrimination exists levels. They can treat themselves AND others differently because of their skin color and culture groups. Discrimination literally just means differential treatment based on a set of circumstances. The circumstance with racism is skin color and culture. So yes, everyone can be racist. Not all groups can oppress, but discrimination and oppression are not even close to the same thing

the problem with the small buisness one is often times that's the price they have to charge in order to keep their business open and get food on the table. most small businesses charge the bare minimum. the reason big businesses charge less is because they have access to more automated processes, which cuts labor costs. (theres a lot more to it then just that. but this is the basic idea)
Fr also isnt $25 a shirt and $60 for a sweatshirt pretty standard? Its been a while since i bought clothes but that's about the kinds of prices i remember and i cant imagine its gone down since then
You're absolutely right. People don't realize black businesses have to compensate for the costs of staying open because not Even most can get a business loan, pay the taxes and have reliable staff at the same time. People don't care about the cost except in the black community.
I have some issues with the "make it easier to support black businesses" yes $25-$60 is a lot of money but if the hoodie is actual, GOOD, LONG-LASTING quality then that price range is like the average price across the market also most small businesses are way more ethical then fast fashion labor and Amazon. Fast fashion and cheap prices have ruined people's perception of a product's worth
The last girl is so true!!!! That's been me my whole life, like just because I talk with education doesn't mean I'm white-washed!!!! I really hate when people call me that!!
One of my absolute favorite people is my co-worker, who happens to be a highly educated black woman. She was born and raised in the hood and has had her share of shenanigans. But when she speaks, it’s like honey. She knows exactly what to say, when to say it, and how to say it. And if you push her too hard, the hood side will come out to play. There is no way I would EVER call her white washed, no matter how many unique words she may choose to use. It shouldn’t be a thing. Everyone has their own personalities and life experiences. We are who we are based on those things. Race should never play into describing an individuals personality or education.

Ok, another comment: I disagree with the second girl when it comes to pricing and supporting black businesses. If some of them can make room for Gucci of LV, you can make room to spend the money on a property designed clothing that may run you $50-$60, or more. If the sweat equity really matches the product, pay the price like you would pay Nike or Under Armor.

The first guy saying BW have too high standards is actually insane. What is the high standard? Be honest? Reasonable? Well-behaved? What is so unrealistic about these standards?
To all the black people out there, there's obviously differences in culture between different ethnicities and you SHOULD embrace it. @@yosephbuitrago897Like I said there clear distinct differences between prejudice and racism. There are four types of racism; internal, interpersonal, institutional, and structural. Two of these types have to do with self, the other two have to do with society and the structures that exist within said society. Not once did I say that black people cannot be prejudice, because as I am oh so sure you know, prejudice is a prejudgment. That is to see someone and without any knowledge of that person make an assumption, “judgement”, about them purely based on previous beliefs or stereotypes. In your statement, you make the false assumption that prejudice is the same thing as racism when it is not. Saying that black people can be “just as racist as white people” is incorrect. Because as previously mentioned, if you are not talking about the internalized components of racism, then logically you must be discussing the structural and societal components of racism. Simply put, someone being mean to someone is not enough to suggest that they are participating in racism. But, if being mean to a person can alter the trajectory of life, I.e. the police are called on a black person being too aggressive, too loud, too “ghetto”, those stereotypes carry with it a structural, historic and current negative implications that could lead to charges, a criminal record, or death. People REALLY need to learn the difference between racist and prejudice!!!
Seems like you need to learn the definition of both those words. prejudice, antagonism, or discrimination towards someone based solely on their race or ethnicity is racism. That’s literally what racism is. I’d you say black people can be prejudiced, and they can be prejudiced to someone solely for their race, then yes, you agree that black people can be racist. Racism and institutional racism are different, everyone can be racist and feel the affects of racism, not everyone can benefit from institutional racism or feel the effects of institutional racism.
If you’re prejudiced against someone based solely on their race or ethnicity, you’re racist. That’s how that works
To add to that black business one, just because you're a black business does not mean "I" another black person "have" to support you especially if you make an inferior product.
Right. I’ll support black businesses that plan to put back into their communities
I don't see anyone else commenting on the woman saying, "Black people are just as racist as white people." I agree with her and the last woman who said, "Just because you talk more educated and proper doesn't mean you're white washed." These two things go together. I also don't believe acting ghetto is cute, but that's my personal preference. It's an interesting short, thank you for sharing.
No one is talking about it probably because of the target audience of this channel. The interviewer even censored the word "white." Says alot.
Cuz it’s not true we don’t own the system and we can’t use the system to be racist to the point we control where yt people eat, sleep, work, and live… we didn’t enslave yt plp … we didn’t create Jim Crow laws… black people can definitely be prejudice but not racist💯
As a white woman, I don’t think I ever hear other races besides black say their women expect too much. Very sad plight of black men letting down black women.
👏🏽
I think it's just a common thing for immature men to say. They typically use it to fetishize women of other races or ethnicities.
True. And imagine signaling to all the other races of women you date them because you think they have low standards… does he think it’s attractive ? Idk maybe it’s just me but it sounds weird lol
We are all damaged. And saying outside our race would further destroy us. But hey, Hosea 4:6
@@shamachelonthe Lord did not disapprove of interracial relationships. Moses married a beautiful Ethiopian woman. Moses's sister was punished severely for making fun of her.
Just as well King Solomon had many wives. Of many Nations and ethnicities.
What the Lord did disapprove of, was marrying into cultures who would not worship him, as the one true God that he is. Like those of the Canaanites who worship the Ba'al. Especially so the peoples of Moab, due to their idolatry.
Why couldnt thay young man state that fact without putting black women down! How sad
it’s ok for black men to date outside their race as long as it’s ok for black women to date outside theirs…it’s not that deep 😂
Nobody said it was, they're talking about the second part
Man, I couldn't even watch the video through the first dude. Sir what standards are too high? Communication, Commitment, and Monogamy? Ya'll hate when black women want a good person.
the first dude- y’all can date other races but you’re RARELY ever dating them because you like them as a person, it’s always specifically because you don’t like black women… and y’all literally say that yourselves 💀
Omg that last girl said the exact comment I was going to make. For some reason, certain Black people hate when other Black people talk proper and are educated then supposedly they’re whitewashed or when that black person doesn’t want to be around the problematic those kind black people they’re whitewashed.
Who said y'all sound proper? I'm tired of this argument y'all sound like the stereotypical suburban kid.
Yes I hate that
How are you ready to sleep with someone and exchange souls , but you're not ready for a relationship? May you carry with you what you want. 😅🎉😊
Because sex is fun and relations aren’t
@@deathman5678then go find one of these nasty women walking the streets for money and don't waste our time
@@deathman5678 sex is fun huh? Tell that to all the men complaining about paying child support or receiving treatment for STD's or HIV.😢 (sex is a very serious thing and should be experienced safely)
That’s like asking how you’re ready to live on your own when you can only afford an apartment instead of a nice huge house
@@of_all_daysno it is not.
He basically said… I would rather date outside my race so I can stay average 😂😂😂
Imagine thinking that the least desirable race of women have higher standards 😂😂
Yeah, men of all races are just dying to date high standards black women who statistically 80% of are obese. Totally what men love right? Women are are big as college linebackers😂
aint nothing wrong with being avarege or normal
honestly mood.
Saying BW standards are too high, but will live up to those standards for other races of women shows so much self hate in the BM who thinks this way
true but it's also about appreciation which idont think we have for each other in our black communities
The last girl my bestie in another life she's adorable too
Its ridiculously insulting that using proper grammar is considered anti-black
That last lady I felt that in my soul!!! Everyone always asked me “why do I talk white?”
That first dude I can tell he will give a white asian or Latina girl the world and those be the ones with the highest expectations nowadays black women want a man with a job who doesn’t cheat and can be there emotionally I don’t see how those standards are high when black men require that and even more
Lies
@@deathman5678 so then what do they want
@@transgaminggoddesss2463 phd god-fearing ex drug dealers, who make over six figures, 6 feet tall are emotionally available but not too emotionally available. Can leave them but don’t tell them what to do.

Well said👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
They will tell you to lower your standards the moment you don’t want a street thug with no future anymore
The first one is why I don’t date bm idc
I agree with the 3rd girl so much. literaly anyone can be racist and I'm tired of ppl acting like thats not the case 😂
The homophobia going on within the community from both men and women.
The hatred between our men and women
Got men calling black women high maintenance and demanding which is a stupid generalization
And we got black women who go out of their way to blame everything on black men being “irresponsible ” and “untrustworthy”
Not to mention the bashing on appearance and culture from both sides.
This 100% the homophobia AND transphobia. Like it's 2024 you'd think our community would be more accepting by now but I feel like religion plays a huge part in that
@@kamilledeas6890 Agreed and it's no hate against religion, just the way religious people interact. Some genuinely are open minded, but alot are set in their ways which makes it difficult to accept.
Yep, my standards are high because I love myself and take relationships seriously. Go find someone who doesn't love themselves and has time to waste so y'all can play games together, 🤷 and leave the women who's standards are "too high" alone. It's really that easy
