Riverblast is a Mack Rides River Battle and those are rafts. It is NOT a boat ride!
The water wheel along the swinging bridge is for Sullivan's Mill. They use the wheel, water, and gravity to drive the belts inside. That's how they get their power to make everything inside.
Last season for Fire In The Hole this year is what was said at the park this last week.
Loved the VLOG! Excited you were able to come to Silver Dollar City. I sensed a slight bit of underwhelmed feeling with your first couple rides on Time Traveler (maybe I’m wrong) which definitely happened to me the first time. But once I got a 7-8 row ride it was a game changer and I was hooked. Hope you were able to get a last row ride!! About to watch the other vids to find out lol
I was definitely a bit underwhelmed after the first ride, but that changes for sure! I’ll let you know next time we’re in town too! It’d be cool to meet up!

I've been wanting to visit this park badly for a while. Not just because I've never been to a Herschend park before but because the rides, the atmosphere, the setting in the Ozarks and the food looks incredible.
it's literally so incredible and i would highly recommend you going the second you get the chance, fortunately i live in arkansas so im pretty close but its definitely one of my favorite places to be
@@sydney7023 My plan is to visit here along with White Water Branson and stay at Big Cedar Lodge. I am not sure what else there is to do in Branson but I am sure I'll find something. If I have to fly in to St. Louis or Kansas City, that's okay because they both have parks I'd want to visit also (maybe do them both if time permits).
My family and I have been going to Silver Dollar City since 2004! We are actually moving to Branson in a couple of years. Branson is an amazing place! So glad y'all enjoyed your time there!

Unfortunately for me, I did not experience a smooth ride at all.
Nor did a lot of other folks whom after hearing the complaints I’m sure had newly anticipated visits to their chiropractors.
The main culprit was the bottom of the first drop which felt like slipping on ice and landing directly on the coccyx.
Otherwise, I concur with your assessment of this amazing park.

Silver Dollar City is for sure a bucket list park for me, I just recently went to Dollywood for the first time and was absolutely blown away, and I hear that silver dollar city is like a better version of Dollywood which makes it very intriguing
That makes sense, as the Herschend family, who own SDC, are co owners of Dollywood. Dollywood was formerly Silver Dollar City of The Smokies...it came along about 20 years after SDC.
i dont know the name of the editing technique, but the way you flow the audio from one clip to the other is just beautiful! Really love the positive vibes from this vid as well!
The swing ride at Dollywood is Barnstormer. You may have been confusing the name with that one.
It's so great to see a non Disney park nail the theme park experience. Dollwood and SDC are high on my list
I can definitely say that outside of Disney, SDC was closest to matching that type of experience.
@@ParksBros plenty of amusement parks that have great rides or great theming and hit or miss on food. SDC appears to have all 3 and even strikes a balance between corporate amenities and independent park charm. I think id want to spend 3 days at this park.
@@ParksBros Seriously though you should definietely visit Dollyood next. I can't say if it is or isn't better than SDC but you'll be glad you did it anyway.

Hot Take: Time Traveler is the best coaster in the country - and I’ve been to all the Six Flags/Cedar Fair parks.

Tough choice honestly. I love CRR for the animatronics and MRF for its intensity!
@@ParksBros that seems like that would be the case, I have only ridden CRR but MRF looks amazing, my cousins who I am very close with recently moved out to Missouri so hopefully, I can visit them and go to silver dollar city soon!
May I ask why you guys don't take us on the ride with you? Would be awesome to see you actually on the ride...
It’s not permitted by the park sadly. If I could I would take everyone on all of the rides!
