Bro that rider that came up to you was someone that maybe felt like that you needed or that your friend sent to you so you can cheer up i remember my bro was in surgery for a motorcycle accident and this old guy was coughing and we offered water and he said that he's fine that the thing he has isn't curable and the more we talked to him we notice he wasn't coughing no more and when he said he's gonna go visit his daughter in the ICU my mom wanted to talk to him some more but when my mom went to the ICU and asked for him and we told the workers in there that he went in there to check on his daughter but they said there was no one in there except my brother and this other guy and the only people that walked in there was us. So its crazy but we think that was like an angel sent from god to tell us that he's gonna be ok. And everything turned out fine and my brother is alive.

I realised that at the beginning of this year. I had a group of American friends who I used to talk to on voice chat every day. Suddenly my closest mate from that group drops from the face of the planet and I message him every now and then "yo dude you fucken die or somethin?". Didn't hear from him for months. Then one morning I wake up to a message from our other mates and they explain that they looked his name up in his local obituary.. shot dead while at a party and this guy pulled a gun on someone else and accidentally shot him. We weren't the closest of mates and the months without talking to him before I found out he died softened the blow.. but I still think about him constantly.
I witnessed my best friend pass away in a crash. We were good friends well before I started riding, and he got me into bikes. We'd always have a blast together no matter what we were doing. One day he called in sick to ride with me, we rode into downtown Dallas and got a super nice lunch, and on our way back he began riding extremely reckless. That was his last ride. I witnessed everything go down. He died on impact according to a bystander. The same bystander managed to resuscitate him for a second. Watching this guy pump on my friends chest, blood dripping from his mouth, and a lifeless stare into the sky was extremely traumatizing. The bystander gave me a hug and was crying in my shoulder and was telling me he did all he could. This was before I realized my friend had passed. It's crazy how one moment someone can be alive and well, and suddenly their gone. Life hasn't been the same for me since that day. I'm sorry about your loss Dank, i understand your pain.
The story you shared made me cry only because on 11/14/19 I lost my cousin by a seizure, me and him were vary close starting back when we were young teens. He was a lost family member for many years we met for the first time before our 10th birthday we were just only 6 days apart. Some time after that he had found out that he was epileptic, and would have small attacks while he stayed over at my house as teens. I've never seen him have an attack but always told us he did, so time forward 22 yrs old he had the best help didn't have an seizure attack in months. The morning of 11/14 he had a seizure in his sleep laying on his back, no one was home to hear or help him. He died from his own vomit and tongue. We were supposed to hang out the weekend of, and I saw a post on Facebook that my cousin was gone I still can't believe today I miss him so much it hurts sometimes. Your videos always make me laugh and smile but this vlog really hit me hard and broke me down, nothing wrong with that I still love your content but made me think of my cousin. Seizures are a real scary thing they take life's and harm love ones around, it's crazy to heard you saw one in person, I would have just freaked out. Hope that chick is fine and doing well, keep up the work boss.
I'm so sorry for your loss. We found out my brother has epilepsy and your story made me cry a little bit. I cannot imagine the pain his family will go thru, having a wife, 6 kids (3 his, 3 hers) and my mom who lives with him, not to mention a good job and tons of co-workers and friends who love him. He has been able to manage it bcz he really only gets a seizure when he gets angry or upset... so he tries to stay calm, but 6 kids (youngest being age 5, oldest age 18) a security position at the hospital and our mom on dialysis can be enough for someone to go crazy sometimes. Sorry for venting my feelings on you, but your story was touching and I just wanted to offer my condolences.
My exgf had her first seizure 3 years into our relationship. It's probably one of the most terrifying things i've had to witness, not just the seizure but afterwards when they're not sure what happened and have that short term memory loss and confusion, my ex just broke down crying because she was so utterly confused and scared. Not fun.
Happened to my sister while she was going into labor I was 13 and she looked at me at the end an didn’t know who I was her tongue was bloody af I thought she was gunna die
Sounds like gran maul seizures or however it's spelled I have them myself, i havent had one in over 10 years thanks to a mixture of my epilepsy meds that i only take a quarter dose of and my medical buds everything has seemed to call down but yes the disorientation is insane I woke up In the hospital and had been there for 4 days dont remember andy of it, prayers for all of you or your family members with epilepsy it is no joke, it is literally life or death. As a mom whos daughter also has seizures, sounds like you did a great job. My daughter doesn't have grand Mal seizures like your girl, my daughter's are more like a passout kinda thing. She stares into space then gets all tensed and yes her jaw is clamped but no shaking. When she comes out of it, she's in like a trance and it takes a good while b4 she's totally back. It's crazy, heartbreaking, and yes you feel totally helpless. A big kudos to you for not freaking out in panic and being there for her. My daughter feels so self conscious about her's and totally embarrassed. It sucks and she's on meds for life to try and control them. Be safe out there riding, I'm 52 and love watching your channel, my deceased husband and I used to ride all the time, he was totally crazy on a bike but never once did I worry because he was the best around. I miss those days way back when... cell phones are making it so much worse for riders. Both the good and the bad. If it wasn't for you and all the other motovloggers at the time, I could very well be a statistic right about now since I ride hard. You and others helped me learn the hard lessons the easy way. I'll have been riding for 7 years once 2020 hits. Very recent owner of a 2014 Yamaha R1. Previously a 2005 Yamaha R6 of 3 years. No accidents since 2015, and last accident caused by me was in 2013. This is thanks to you and the motovlog community. Keep it up and you know, beeyourself or some shit like that.

I just lost a close friend on Christmas eve in a car accident. The pain is real! I'm currently working away from home and family/friends, so it's very lonely. It's very hard to be alone at this time, but watching this video some how has brought me comfort. Thank you my dude. Bless up

to relate to your story, i just started dealing with anxiety and it gave me bells palsy - weeks later - i was so sure i was having a heart attack - sent to acute care - actually heard people die and families mourn not too far from where i am - looked at myself and realized what is going on with me i have to be MORE GRATEFUL even if stress and anxeity causes me pain, im here. still living still breathing

I have a very close friend who also is my next door neighbor with issues with seizures. It can rattle you brother. Truly helpless feeling like you said. Best thing to do is to educate yourself so you can help if you encounter it again. Also remember that the person who it happens to most likely didn't know it happened and will be surprised by how it rattled you. Just have an honest conversation with her. Tell her it freaked you out. She probably knows what to say to help you with it. And remember that you were there for a reason! Nothing happens by chance. Good luck with all of it brother. Just remember to be a better person than you were yesterday. And forgiving frees you, not the other person. Truth is if you are holding something against someone does it really affect them? Or does it affect you? Two wrongs never make a right

My Jr. year of H.S. started a job a couple of towns north (lived by O'HARE). One of the guys I worked with had Sturge-Weber Syndrome, LOTS of Med problems associated with it. He looked like he was burnt, had 1 eye, 1 leg inch a half longer than the other, and LOW blood pressure so he was cold all the time and he had seizures. That spring (1985) I gave him a ride to get his 1st street bike, a 1973 Kawi triple 500. He learned how to ride and had motorcycles from 7yr old ( he was 3yrs older than me), and I only rode a dirt bike once. It wasn't long before I was riding it to, he got me into bikes. A friend of his from H.S. brought a SUZUKI RVG500 from CANADA and at 5'3 and 98lb... I WANTED ONE!!! In 1990 I went to CANADA and brought back a 1989 YZR500 and took a "street bike" course at ROAD AMERICA. Late 95 picked up a 94 ZX-7. By 1999 sold both. By 1996 meds couldn't control the seizures and he had to give up his drivers license. He lived with his older brother and wife, the 3 of us took care of him until the disease took him on DEC 19 2011. So yea this time of the year kinda sucks. PS..... We learned to put a towel edge or hankerchief into his mouth to protect his teeth and not swallow his tongue. NEVER put your fingers in tho!! I didn’t get to ride with him sadly, he passed away 6 years ago in a motorcycle accident, same scenario, failed to yield left turn, but it was a city bus driver. and it’s been a rough 6 years. But im making it through. It’s tough, it’s never easy especially around the anniversary of his death or his birthday or mine. My parents got me my first bike 3 months after the accident. But you’ve got some people on your side, if you wanna vent or talk man, you got a lot of people that’ll talk if needed.

I understand how it feels to loose someone close to you in a motorcycle accident bro. I lost my little cousin about 6 months ago and I don't think it ever gets any easier especially when every ride reminds you of that person
It is not really the tongue rolling back that is the problem. Often people foam from the mouth while convulsing. People do not usually breathe while seizing in general but the little bit of air they get in is best to not be replaced with liquid! Tip #1 Do not put anything inside their mouth. #2 Do not restrict their movements and if they are in an unsafe spot move the things that can be moved or move them out of the way if you have too. 3# Place them on their side! #4 Try to get a general time for how long the seizure was! Also if you call EMS it is nice to know what the cause may have been from, like heat/alcohol/or even if they have a history of seizures. 5# If the person stops convulsing give them time and let them know what just happened and of coarse be kind! They will be out of it for a short period of time sometimes longer. When you are having a seizure your body is using all of its energy the best way to explain it is you running a marathon in 2 minutes, so of coarse you are going to be out of it! Answer any other questions EMS may have (which can be difficult because you may not know them). -Paramedic Student

that was honestly so crazy a new rider showed up to the same spot as your friends death. It just goes to show that when one door closes another opens. Life is crazy bro. one thing i learned from riding is not only am i more aware on the bike but im so much more aware of little signs that get tossed around to me. Hey guys. I’m 16 right now. Life’s been pretty tough on me. My brother is gone, who I used to do everything with. Wish I could say more about it but I can’t. Went into a dark place and have had trouble keeping my head up. I’ve been arrested and my brother has 30+ years. I made myself miserable. I called this point in life “Heart attack before 30” because I was not getting any sleep and was drink at least $200 in Redbull a week to stay awake. As we all know. It’s not good for you. But I could sleep at night. And if I slept during the day then I would get into some trouble. So I can relate to having a really rough time in life. Hope you the best of luck in your future bud.

I'm so sorry for your loss. We found out my brother has epilepsy and your story made me cry a little bit. I cannot imagine the pain his family will go thru, having a wife, 6 kids (3 his, 3 hers) and my mom who lives with him, not to mention a good job and tons of co-workers and friends who love him. He has been able to manage it bcz he really only gets a seizure when he gets angry or upset... so he tries to stay calm, but 6 kids (youngest being age 5, oldest age 18) a security position at the hospital and our mom on dialysis can be enough for someone to go crazy sometimes. Sorry for venting my feelings on you, but your story was touching and I just wanted to offer my condolences.
My exgf had her first seizure 3 years into our relationship. It's probably one of the most terrifying things i've had to witness, not just the seizure but afterwards when they're not sure what happened and have that short term memory loss and confusion, my ex just broke down crying because she was so utterly confused and scared.

Same here my ex had the same thing. With her it happened regularly, it's really sad thing tbh.
Happened to my sister while she was going into labor I was 13 and she looked at me at the end an didn’t know who I was her tongue was bloody af I thought she was gunna die
Sounds like gran maul seizures or however it's spelled I have them myself, i havent had one in over 10 years thanks to a mixture of my epilepsy meds that i only take a quarter dose of and my medical buds everything has seemed to call down but yes the disorientation is insane I woke up In the hospital and had been there for 4 days dont remember andy of it, prayers for all of you or your family members with epilepsy it is no joke, it is literally life or death. As a mom whos daughter also has seizures, sounds like you did a great job. My daughter doesn't have grand Mal seizures like your girl, my daughter's are more like a passout kinda thing. She stares into space then gets all tensed and yes her jaw is clamped but no shaking. When she comes out of it, she's in like a trance and it takes a good while b4 she's totally back. It's crazy, heartbreaking, and yes you feel totally helpless. A big kudos to you for not freaking out in panic and being there for her. My daughter feels so self conscious about her's and totally embarrassed. It sucks and she's on meds for life to try and control them. Be safe out there riding, I'm 52 and love watching your channel, my deceased husband and I used to ride all the time, he was totally crazy on a bike but never once did I worry because he was the best around. I miss those days way back when... cell phones are making it so much worse for riders. You know they are out there texting and really not watching for bikes, so yeah it's a much worse world for riders these days. Be careful, have fun and Merry Christmas!!!

You and others helped me learn the hard lessons the easy way. I'll have been riding for 7 years once 2020 hits. Very recent owner of a 2014 Yamaha R1. Previously a 2005 Yamaha R6 of 3 years. No accidents since 2015, and last accident caused by me was in 2013. This is thanks to you and the motovlog community. Keep it up and you know, beeyourself or some shit like that.

I just lost a close friend on Christmas eve in a car accident. The pain is real! I'm currently working away from home and family/friends, so it's very lonely. It's very hard to be alone at this time, but watching this video some how has brought me comfort. Thank you my dude. Bless up

I'm glad you were able to stay for your friend. I have had a similar situation due to flickering of TV in a dark room. Seems like you researched it alittle, and all valid points. I would add to comfort the person vocally can help the whole process.

to relate to your story, i just started dealing with anxiety and it gave me bells palsy - weeks later - i was so sure i was having a heart attack - sent to acute care - actually heard people die and families mourn not too far from where i am - looked at myself and realized what is going on with me i have to be MORE GRATEFUL even if stress and anxeity causes me pain, im here. still living still breathing

I have a very close friend who also is my next door neighbor with issues with seizures. It can rattle you brother. Truly helpless feeling like you said. Best thing to do is to educate yourself so you can help if you encounter it again. Also remember that the person who it happens to most likely didn't know it happened and will be surprised by how it rattled you. Just have an honest conversation with her. Tell her it freaked you out. She probably knows what to say to help you with it. And remember that you were there for a reason! Nothing happens by chance. Good luck with all of it brother. Just remember to be a better person than you were yesterday. And forgiving frees you, not the other person. Truth is if you are holding something against someone does it really affect them? Or does it affect you? Two wrongs never make a right

My Jr. year of H.S. started a job a couple of towns north (lived by O'HARE). One of the guys I worked with had Sturge-Weber Syndrome, LOTS of Med problems associated with it. He looked like he was burnt, had 1 eye, 1 leg inch a half longer than the other, and LOW blood pressure so he was cold all the time and he had seizures. That spring (1985) I gave him a ride to get his 1st street bike, a 1973 Kawi triple 500. He learned how to ride and had motorcycles from 7yr old ( he was 3yrs older than me), and I only rode a dirt bike once. It wasn't long before I was riding it to, he got me into bikes. A friend of his from H.S. brought a SUZUKI RVG500 from CANADA and at 5'3 and 98lb... I WANTED ONE!!! In 1990 I went to CANADA and brought back a 1989 YZR500 and took a "street bike" course at ROAD AMERICA. Late 95 picked up a 94 ZX-7. By 1999 sold both. By 1996 meds couldn't control the seizures and he had to give up his drivers license. He lived with his older brother and wife, the 3 of us took care of him until the disease took him on DEC 19 2011. So yea this time of the year kinda sucks. PS..... We learned to put a towel edge or hankerchief into his mouth to protect his teeth and not swallow his tongue. NEVER put your fingers in tho!! I’m sorry my boy. I lost my best friend, considered my brother, hes the one that got me into riding and we were inseparable, every day we hung out. I didn’t get to ride with him sadly, he passed away 6 years ago in a motorcycle accident, same scenario, failed to yield left turn, but it was a city bus driver. and it’s been a rough 6 years. But im making it through. It’s tough, it’s never easy especially around the anniversary of his death or his birthday or mine. My parents got me my first bike 3 months after the accident. But you’ve got some people on your side, if you wanna vent or talk man, you got a lot of people that’ll talk if needed.
We always hit rough spots bro just getting through them that matters you will be fine you've got all your fans here and on insta, hope you have a smashing Xmas brother.

I understand how it feels to loose someone close to you in a motorcycle accident bro. I lost my little cousin about 6 months ago and I don't think it ever gets any easier especially when every ride reminds you of that person
It is not really the tongue rolling back that is the problem. Often people foam from the mouth while convulsing. People do not usually breathe while seizing in general but the little bit of air they get in is best to not be replaced with liquid! Tip #1 Do not put anything inside their mouth. #2 Do not restrict their movements and if they are in an unsafe spot move the things that can be moved or move them out of the way if you have too. 3# Place them on their side! #4 Try to get a general time for how long the seizure was! Also if you call EMS it is nice to know what the cause may have been from, like heat/alcohol/or even if they have a history of seizures. 5# If the person stops convulsing give them time and let them know what just happened and of coarse be kind! They will be out of it for a short period of time sometimes longer. When you are having a seizure your body is using all of its energy the best way to explain it is you running a marathon in 2 minutes, so of coarse you are going to be out of it! Answer any other questions EMS may have (which can be difficult because you may not know them). -Paramedic Student

Hey guys. I’m 16 right now. Life’s been pretty tough on me. My brother is gone, who I used to do everything with. Wish I could say more about it but I can’t. Went into a dark place and have had trouble keeping my head up. I’ve been arrested and my brother has 30+ years. I made myself miserable. I called this point in life “Heart attack before 30” because I was not getting any sleep and was drink at least $200 in Redbull a week to stay awake. As we all know. It’s not good for you. But I could sleep at night. And if I slept during the day then I would get into some trouble.
So I can relate to having a really rough time in life.
