Another neat little trick, is to look at the timer of his passive, once an enemy shows up and his passive triggers, u can actually utilize its timer by waiting till it runs out (atleast 5-3s before resets) so u can actually initiate with his 2nd skill 2 times dealing more dmg then follow up with his other skills.
After fully watching the video I can confidently say that arlot is one of the better designed heros as of recent. His skills are good for players who don't want to invest hundreds of hours to be good at him like joy , lance , fanny etc but requires skills nonetheless. Edit : to people saying joy is easy to master. Uh no? I knew she's easy to learn , but not easy to master. I mean to play effectively , like alice. Alice is "easy" to play but she's not easy to play effectively. That's it.

You can mark the enemy first then wait for your passive to almost cool down before you dash to the enemy, in that way you can dash twice without using your first skill or petri, you can see his passive's (demon eye) cooldown so it is easy to time your dash
I think they should put an indicator to the side where the enemies will be pushed or at the end of the skill casting guide rather than those small arrows at the start because it can be a bit confusing.
Theres already an indicator if you pause at 2:34 , albeit it's only two small arrows on the left side where the swing will come from and culled them to the right side.

I just got a savage using him, thanks to my teammate who used Atlas and was able to catch all 5 of the enemies with his ult. I managed to dash a lot and got the savage. ✨
Despite his absurd dash and heal, I'd say he's pretty balanced, he is like Dyrroth and Ruby combined, but like all high mobility fighters, once he ran out of dash, he can be easily countered, and lots of heroes can counter him, especially the upcoming Minsi revamp and Khufra's bug fix. CC Mages can also be annoying for Arlott (another hero that is suffering from Eudophobia). He's by far one of if not the most balanced heroes during release, old heroes usually are OP when they are released (e.g Johnson Revamp, Ling, Lylia, Guinevere), while new heroes underperform (Leomord Revamp, Fred, Vexana Revamp, Melissa).
Guin first release is not op at all to the point dev need to buff her 3 times in row within month (maybe) first her ult is not immune to cc so is kinda like jump in to suicide xD.. but i can not remember the other 2 buffs she received
People in my region love using arlott jungle. And it works pretty well. Especially if you have a cc filled roamer helping you during early game. Also Ice Retri can cast marks.
I really like this hero, i play Irelia most of my time Playing League of Legends, Arlott and Irelia has the same mechanics expect for the Passive of course, he's pretty balance one hard on him he's pretty much done

If i could resume Arlott: Great dmg, Great sustain, his gameplay tho is a bit like Phoveus, you play around enemies positionning and so its not recommended to just spam your second skill whenever it is available specially since it focuses marked targets. Exp lane: Great laning, also great pressure, i would avoid going at the throat of enemies like Dyrroth early tho. Would not go for petrify as a spell even if it can trigger a mark again, flicker to reposition yourself would be my go for considering how far with your second skill u can go sometimes. Jungle: Can make a use of the blue buff since his second skill eat quite the amount of mana, even tho i still prefer the explane as his main lane because it fits his kit purpose more, just have to handle his mana cost in the early game (maybe going for 2 mana talisman could be great).

One of the best thing I like to do in mlbb is I like to do different play styles, and arlotts style is wayyyyy different from any fighter or assassin so I’m looking to give him a shot

My combo when using arlot. Wait for passive, 2nd + 1st + 2nd + petrify + 2nd + ult + 2nd + 2nd You could also use basic attack in between when you have endless battle to apply extra true damage, when at late game 2nd + 1st + 2nd + petrify + 2nd + ult + 2nd + 1st + 2nd. His sustain and second skill is even greater when there are marked minions/creeps to add to your heal AND team mates that have cc especially mages and tanks
Fun fact you can dash 3 times as a lvl 1 using him, the trick is to apply a mark then wait for the marks cooldown goes to about a sec then dash immediately to the target. Using ur second before the passive cd will apply another mark on the enemy and u can dash again, pair that with a petrify or flameshot you will have a high chance of getting the first blood
Though he's a great sustain-type of a hero, I think (since I haven't tried it yet and his main gameplay is yet to be discovered) that burst gameplay would work for him well with certain compositions. He can be played as an assassin with his burst damage with the BoD + Endless combo. Just wanted to share this since most ppl tends to use and at first glance, thinks of him as having a sustain fighter role as his only role. I have yet to try this gameplay too, but I do think that when played right, an Assassin Arlott is deadly. Imagine an assassin with good amounts of CC and a heapload of mobility (with certain roamers) and great healing capabilities. Also, this is just an idea and a suggestion, so pls don't be too harsh on it. Though critiques and opinions on this one are mostly welcome. After all, it'd help the community and the meta develop as well.
Try him on burst oriented playstyle definitely have some potential but the lack of on demand escape skill make him die pretty easily and his burst isn't that crazy either, its strong again squishy enemy but once you get a tankier enemy his damage is pretty bad unlike dyrot burst playstyle that can melt basically anything or paqui burst playstyle that at least have escape skill if he unable to burst in 1 go
Arlott is a skill caster and you can use a basic attack after his 2nd skill so the item endless battle is very good on him. If you want sustain then use bloodlust axe but his heal so good that you will only need Orical and Brute force. Hope it helps
Arlott must use basic Atk immediately once he gets close with his Skill 2 though. However, trying to get a basic Atk in is risky if the enemy hero has a CC skill ready to stun Arlott.
On 2:30 ..As a Dragon ball fan, everytime I hear this I always thought that Arlott's ultimate was "Final Flash" (One of Vegeta's iconic powerful attack) Well they sound similarly so I guess I can't blame myself for it.

I tried him for several games. I can confidently say that his direct counter in Laning phase is Lapu Lapu and Yin. Both of the have prolonged cc immune which will disrupt your combo if you don't pay attention Also they have massive damage when in melee range (which will be fulfilled if you dash into them)
When it comes to me i think his second skill goes first when the game begins because you can poke the enemy and retreat to the turret and wait the minions to die while block your way to lvl up fast
Meanwhile I don't get the point of building those. Arlott depends on CC, Passive and 2nd Skill in his kit. Basic attacks aren't going to be utilized in his playstyle that often.

To the people that are confused about where his skill is gonna push the enemies, if you look closely the skill indicator has two arrows on them that shows where the skill is going to push them.
petrify is good for combos, but i prefered vengeance over petrify. the same as joy, he needs that tankyness when getting into teamfights. let's say people already knew how to counter his lifesteal with anti heal, using petrify will deal more dmg yes, but it makes him more vulnerable. while if we were to use vengeance, his tankyness is still there and his damage is still balanced for a consistent teamfight. this hero is really balanced ngl. easy to learn, hard to master skillcap. this is my personal opinion.
As a fighter main, Arlott is easy to use and easy to counter. But only a few will know and utilise he's full potentials. He's like Alucard. Easy to counter, but....
He's not easy to counter, his skill 2 even has built in cc immune. An advanced Arlott player surely will be able to play much, much better than a beginner one.
Lancelot and Moskov did a fusion dance xD Jokes aside, he seems not that hard to understand, he has the passive similar to like Phoveus, but instead of dashes or knockback cc, its affected by ANY type of cc, so even pairing him up with a lineup of cc chain heroes will make him very strong, especially in teamfights to make him be able to abuse his dashes more. I do agree that his skill cds are way too low rn or you’re just gonna have to face a critical striking lancelot BUT WITH CC! Especially his ult, thats way too big for it to just be 20 SECONDS only
feels like people didn't realize that arlott doesn't have any passive at all. what's written there is just a separate description for his second skill where his marks have no other purposes but to benefit only his second skill.
One thing you did show in gameplay and not mention, just like lancelot. You can use the minions as ur chase and escape path. Always mark minions (if available) before commiting to an enemy so that u can escape dash to it.
BEST COUNTERS FOR ARLOTT:Argus,thamuz,benedeta,kadita,ling,roger,i dont really think they will be the best for all players if they use those i suggest but it works for me,when i experimented it.

I think similar to the emotes, arlott's mark should only be visible when you can see him. Same goes to the other skills and the assassin talent.

I love arlott mechanic cuz he's skill-based. It's a good hero to pick when my team already pick mage. I'm a mage user most of the time.

feels like people didn't realize that arlott doesn't have any passive at all.
what's written there is just a separate description for his second skill where his marks have no other purposes but to benefit only his second skill.
Did someone noticed that passive mark of arlott is same as the necklace mila gave him🥲. And also he only uses the red spear mostly 😅

One thing you did show in gameplay and not mention, just like lancelot. You can use the minions as ur chase and escape path. Always mark minions (if available) before commiting to an enemy so that u can escape dash to it.

BEST COUNTERS FOR ARLOTT:Argus,thamuz,benedeta,kadita,ling,roger,i dont really think they will be the best for all players if they use those i suggest but it works for me,when i experimented it.

Useful to prevent ambushes, but then the passive range will probably be nerfed
