- James Kleinmann interviews actor Jamie Dornan for his movie Fifty Shades of Grey in which he plays Christian Grey opposite Dakota Johnson who plays Anastasia Steele.
The movie is based on the book by E.L. James and also stars Dakota Johnson.
Dornan also appears in Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed.
Plot:When college senior Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) steps in for her sick roommate to interview prominent businessman Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) for their campus paper, little does she realize the path her life will take. Christian, as enigmatic as he is rich and powerful, finds himself strangely drawn to Ana, and she to him. Though sexually inexperienced, Ana plunges headlong into an affair -- and learns that Christian's true sexual proclivities push the boundaries of pain and pleasure.

The interviewer is so polite and professional, he's not giggling or making feel the actor uncomfortable. Great interview and of course Jamie is really charming.

Thats it Jamie. Well said!- The books are about their love story and the sub/dom was the way they met but the 2 last books are about how much are they willing to give to be together , especially Christian since he changes for Anna. Its not only about sex, its about learning to love and be loved.
Finally a voice of reason. That is exactly what I say. The sex is secondary. It is an incredible love story.

I Was a hater before the release of the movie but after seeing it. Is not a sex movie alone.... it a love story. The director was so great and the lead actors did awesome too...It's kinda classy movie too... I wasn't offended at all with the sex scene. It was kinda magical.

I did not like Fifty Shades of Grey or the character that Jamie Dornan played but I just watched him in Anthropoid with Cillian Murphy and the two actors are excellent playing Czech soldiers on a mission from the Resistance fighters to assassinate Reinhard Heydrich who was a notorious official who was third-in-command to Hitler. He and Cillian do Eastern European accents and pulled it off admirably. Now I have more respect for Mr. Dornan.
I love his professionalism. His work is an actor. And he has own life with a family:) it's nice to see him have that difference

I am so pleased they made a trilogy I have bought all three and what a lovely story know one could have played those parts better than dakota and jamie he will always be remembered for this film and that's great jamie is a great actor not just great he's brilliant.

The love story is the best. When I rewatch the movie I fast forward past the sex scenes. The observation I have that is negative is Dakota isn't a believable crier. That said, she can do amazing things with her voice. I wonder if she manipulates Jamie all the way through. Like forgetting the importance of her birth control shot. It seems intentional. Ana, who is organized would not have forgotten. Her character is arrogant, acts superior than Christian. In those attitude moments I dislike her.

KatNicole In the movie He speaks in one Tonality the entire time. He dsn't have any expression at all. It's like watching Log have a voice. If not for Ann this movie would be unwatchable.
Chriss RE That is the director's fault then. It was the director that told him how to act for a movie. I watched him in other shows and he is a good actor. I also seen interviews with him and he is very funny and down to earth man. You are just judging him blindly for how his character was in a movie. Kind of unfair, isn't it? I actually only consider watching 50 shades of Grey because of him. He is a good actor in other shows so I want to see how he is with this character. However, if it was "bad acting" (which is not, its just how the characters are) then it's the director's doing because they direct them how to act.
GOD YES. Over half the theater laughed saying that he looked 'constipated', or 'lost' the entire time in the movie.
