It is so beautiful to learn the price Americans paid to hold up the 🇺🇸 flag against the British incessant cannonballs attacks throughout the night. The bodies of those heroes who died defending the fort were used to prop up our flag because if that flag pole went down it meant the surrender of the USA to Britain. Next time you hear the 🇺🇸 Anthem please pay attention, learn and show reverence for the sacrifices of many people in the past, so we can have a better future as a nation. I have seen people from other nations cry when they learn the history of The Star Spangled Banner.
