Lyrics:
Wait, hold up, chill, what's that son?
Damn.. n***a got f**ked, shit, huh?!
By his back, watch n***a run
Seven the center of your eight point sun
Somethin in the slum went rum-pum-pum-pum
Somethin in the slum went rum-pum-pum-pum
Yo Rae it's been a long time son since we bust
Gunclap +Glaciers+, ran the world and snatched paper
Return to the 36th Chamber
Proceed with caution as you enter
We have an A.P.B., on an MC Killer
Looks like the work of a Masta!!
Yo somethin in the street went, BANG BANG
Makin it hard for you to do your THANG THANG
Somethin in the street went, BANG BANG..
Up in the boss game wildin, money for grabs
I ain't f**kin with crabs, out of state copped two labs
Hopped two cabs, back on the Ave.
Stab you with the vocab, catch me at the big dough rehab
Tryin to re-up, keep my feet up
Snake n***az in the cut, hold the product
Time is up, no luck, heat start to bust
n***az you can't trust, dealin with lust
Seen him at the ballgames with James
The intro is so 🔥🔥🔥🔊 0:06
I kept playin the intro over, real hiphop heads know 🫡
Deck for the millionth time being the highlight of a Wu song.
Guuuuuaaddd daaamn Miss Dee,
Something in the hood went bang bang .
U god had his shine in my opinion lol but lyrically yes deck killed it as usual
Facts....
because GZA wasnt on the track LOL
Watch the Wu-Tang on Hulu
Inspektah deck boyyyy!! He always shines. His sword is always sharp.
ronnie ronquilio hell ya he chopped the head off in guillotine purple tape
Best vers eva
Yup! One of the best!
Double bladed Facts!
Exactly
This is the epitome of a RZA production. This is the most RZA beat RZA has ever RZA'd. And I love it.
Yeah Rza is signature as hell. But when you listen to old Big Daddy Kane tracks like Young Gifted & Black or Grandmaster Caz South Bronx NY you realize he's a learned student.
No, Bells of War is the most RZA instrumental.
wrong
Its the last really great RZA beat IMO
@@RobMorganest1983 No. Not when Run with Ghost and Jadakiss came out after this.
Its crazy how many people come back to this everyday... this song is masterpiece!
@Feragamo Salvatore word
Finland bounce🎉
bang bang
MOST underrated Wu Tang song.
🎯🎯🎯💯🙏🏼 REAL TALK! 🔥🔥🔥
@d R 🎯🎯🎯💯🙏🏼
The Pillage by Cappadonna is the most underrated Wu album. Imho
Word son 🫡
ehhh who is underrating it?
2:34 So hilarious how U-God just sits there... Like I know you ain't shootin' at me
yes lol like he was confused at first
Funny as hell
Lol ikr? And how he draws and then is like, oh forgot to cock the slide.
classic!
Heck yeah I always laughed at that 😂😂😂
Inspektah Deck is the fucking G.O.A.T... i been telling ppl.
+Kano IX "known to drop facts that crack your hard hat" - Deck kills everyone.
+Kano IX he some how kills it everytime, ghost face lyrics are too complicated, you need to listen more than one time
And U-God and Masta killa are ill as well. All 3 are the best of the group and very underrated.
Good call man. Damn good call. Been on Deck since the beginning.
Deck kills every song he features on, but falls flat in his own. He's like the one verse master. Anyone who features him has to prepare to be second best
Every time I play this track, I lock all my doors and windows and go outside, throw my mask on and break into my own house 👐🏽 🔥🔥🔥
capricornking560 😂😂😂😂
Lmao
Lol
🤣
lolololololololololololololololol
Inspectah's verse is the dopest, but props to the whole clan. They are still banging in my ears, I guess it's forever
Yeah deck is my favorite. He kills it on all the tracks and is underrated
Yeah deck is my favorite. He kills it on all the tracks and is underrated
I am not sure I have ever heard someone ride a beat the way that Deck does on this track. Every syllable is hitting perfectly with it, and he has a descending syllable on every lower beat and an ascending syllable on every rising. Utterly incredible
@@hankhill388Deck and Cappa got my picks for best verse on this classic but with Wu u can't lose no matter who u go with as I love the hell out of Ghostface and U God's verse too, I wish my man Masta Killa had a longer verse cuz if he did he'd probably get my pick for best verse but still I love the hell outta his and Rza's verse too and that outro with Rae on the album is too funny and also I love how Masta Killa shouts Rae out even though he ain't on the track...maybe he was supposed to be but didn't make it in time so they gave him the outro skit
Every Wu member has something unique about them
@d R Masta, Cap & U-god are the most underrated bcuz they were barely on 36 chambers. Im only 21 but growing up I alway knew Method man & ODB & Ghostface. As I got older I learned about Rza, Gza, Raekwon & U-God but it still took me a while to understand who tf was Cap & mastakilla. Until I started watching the music videos, Listening to more of the albums & Watching the Show
inspekt ya deck always sounds so good he's so underrated, him and ghost are my favourite
Ghostdini and Czarface
Tony Starks and Manny Festo
Iron man and Spider Man
Betta know...
One of my favorite Wu-Tang videos of all time.👐
🔥 👐🏽 🔥
The intro is so crazy and raw.... and it is just hilarious when I see bokeem woodbine!!!
💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
U-God said RZAs beats were wack on this album. He obviously forgot about this one. Shit goes hard!
Nun of the beats on this album are wack tbh
RZA is a goat !
Inspectah ripping shit up again, funny how he's probably the most consistent with his style and flow over the years but still underated
I saw this comment right when I was listening to his verse and thinking that lol
Such dope flow
Inspectah Deck and Masta Killa are my favorite lyricists. But ODB and Ghost Face for charisma. Redman and U-God for the sounds of their voices. And RZA for production and management. They're a team for me!
@@ncg89 definitely mate, all I'm saying is that inspectah is only just getting the recognition he deserves for being part of that team. I starting listening 20 years ago and nobody used to mention him, it was all about Rae,meth and ghost.
Personally I think each member is as important as the others
Maybe most underrated of all time. Funny how he's on most of the Wu's records. They knew what was up
Cappadonna was splashing all over this track, give this man his flowers!
My favorite Wu song
Seen him at the ball game wit James
Pause
Dam fr? Wow. That's a big statement. So many wu songs
Cap always spits darts
Big ups to the Wu! Hip hop will never die, Wu - Tang forever.
One of the best RZA Beats I've ever heard
THIS BEAT IS ONE OF THE BEST BEATS I'VE EVER HEARD IN MY LIFE!
Agree!
Capoadonna and James must have some serious beef by the way he said it 😳
Wu Tang rules again! Deck's Rap ist der Hammer!
U'God's face at 2:35 - 2:45 gets me EVERY time lmaooooo!!!!!
FAAAACTS
You get me everytime too baby
I shared the same not knowing you already comment this.. 🤣😂💯
Lol
My favourite part also... BOSS LEVEL 100
That look on God's face when Deck spits his verse is like "Damnnnn...who's idea was it for him to follow me?".
Everytime I come back to this, Deck's flow stay's as fresh and grimey as the first time I heard it. Just the absolute most amazing verse on a song with nothing but great verses.
Deck came back from the year 2085 to lay this verse WU-TANG FOREVER!
Is this the most slept-on hip hop album ever? Everything there was flames - verses, features, beats are some of the best you will ever hear.
Its grown on me so much since 2000. I'm hearing so much effort n the multiple samples RZA used
When it came out it was a huge disappointment. Revisionist history
INS verses are laised with deep thought...he's one of the best MC's in the clan
Once again Inspektah Deck killed it!! So underated
True, love cappa verse too tho.
He doesn't even have one single bad verse
Yeah that Hawaii shirt was dope as well
FACTZ!!
@@fuzzydunlop1753 oh yeah cappa is that dude Believe that 💯
"Who's your rhyming heroes? WUTANG RULES AGAIN!! 💪🏾"
Simultaneously the hardest sh*t ever and feels like it could be a training session for Shaolin masters. Dope AF.
Cappadonna is soooioo dope. His energy is critical!!!
Who's Your RHYMING HEROES ??? WU TANG FOREVER!!!
U Gods Expression was Classic 😂😂
Salute Tha Muh Funkin WU Tang!!!
Dopest part of the Video
I love how everybody on here purposefully use a sloppy, erratic flow to match the eerie instrumental and Deck still is able to deliver such an incredible rhyme scheme while doing so. Great track.
peace to the gods!!
This beat is absolute 🔥🔥🔥
I've loved Wu Tang since I first heard that shit
997 clowns who thumb down on this super banger from the the real super heroes of real Mc rap reeeal hip hop wu tang clan best forever

This track is beyond nasty.... That beat though....
this fukkin beat is insane
One of RZA's best
Always loved that beat at the beginning. Says a lot about RZA as a producer when he can make a beat that is literally 5 seconds long and I’ll listen to it for 10 years straight lol
And I love the switch at the end. It's the little things that stand out.... as well as the haunting melody in the background!
Wu Tang 👐🏻 Forever 💗🐝🐝🔥⚔️🔥🐝🐝 Suuuuuu ✌🏻👑
KADEEM & BOKEEM Inda CUT 😈👹
THE HARDEST BEAT EVER CREATED
You know this
Not even close.

I love this one

"Ways of the samurai-"
Big Up to Kadeem Hardison... This is one of the illest Wu Videos. A grimey underground joint that slap. 🔥
Do you understand the message behind the video? I think there's a deeper message to it.
Bokeem wodbine
@@johncampbell5929 Kadeem's cameo appearance during Inspectah Deck's verse is what I was pointing out. I am well aware of who "Bookeem Woodbine" is and his feature throughout the video. I pay attention to the small details. (Peace)
@@midasapprentice8670 Your stating the obvious. The art as a whole is open for each viewer's own interpretation. Respect that and fall back with the unsolicited analytics. You enjoy it for what you see it for and I'll enjoy it from my individual perspective. (Peace)

Rza in this track está fuego. And the Adidas 👐
Another masterful beat by the RZA, that pulsating base....and Inspectah Deck goes hard as usual "rat pack eat up the average alley cat"
Lol its funny people call someone i know allycat
That's the line that got me.
Yall MFrs peep Everything
BAR FOR BAR, that SHIT HIT HARDER THAN A HAMMER TO DA CHIN!
I don't know why but I am just loving this video. I love how Bokeem come in doin flips and just pulls guns out if no where and crack a smile. It's a real wyd moment.
Right.....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I have a hard time saying this is my favorite WuTang song, but this is the one I always go back to listen to.
How the HELL has this passed me by!!!!
Have I been on another planet!?!
This beat is ridiculous 😮
Rebel INS murdered another track 👐🏼🐝🔥
Kingz 28 ... He had Kadeem Hardison with a smile on his face with that flow.
It’s crazy seeing Bokeem Woodbine in this music video, along side with The Jump Off, and then seeing him again in the Hulu series as RZA’s stepfather
He was also on RZA’s “Chi Kung” video featuring Baretta 9 a.k.a. Kinetic
I forgot how dope this track is. It actually gives me chills...
I'm telling you lol, a complete madness
I forgot how good it was too. I had "The W" back when it was fairly new and thought there were a few highlights this being one of them. I kind of forgot about it in the shuffle of new music and something made me listen to it again today. This track is better than I remember.

@@sparkzmentalz2 fair enough..for me I love Cappa's and Deck's the most with Masta Killa getting an honorable mention but only cuz his part was so short, if it was longer I'd probably place him 1st
@@antoniokastrocarlisledemel6617 I respect that. Masta and Cappa usually spit that lit. Deck was straight but I think Cappa came lazy with it...:seen him at the ball game with James" lol and Masta probably jumped on at the last minute to fill in some bars.
@sparkzmentalz2340 I agree with u the line about Games and James is a little lazy but I still love it and it makes it sound like he freestyled it(which maybe he did )cuz when u freestyle not everything makes sense and for me it's like someone saying Chillin Like A Villain or Its On Like Donkey Kong which have no meaning it's just randomly choosing something that rhymes with what u just said, U God's verse has that same cadence it sounds like he freestyled it as well....and even if i completely hated the line, which I don't, the rest of the verse is straight fire: Up in the boss game wilding, money for grabs

The W took a little while to grow on me back in 2000 but it didn't take long to become my favorite Wu album...at times Forever & 36 chambers takes it's place, Iron Flag is amazing too and I had a similar experience with 8 Diagrams as it took a little while to grow on me but right now in April 2022 I'm back in W mode...this album always reminds me of Chrono Trigger i remember i use to bump this playing Chrono Trigger on my computer.. especially this track and Redbull(especially Redbull reminds me of the post apocalyptic future in CT) so many memories man..My only issue is I wish this album was longer but it's straight to the point with no excess and also I wish there was more ODB and more Masta Killa I love that dude, almost unbelievable to this day my man got One Blood to himself i had to rewind it the first time i heard it cuz with the runtime i figured MK wouldnt get enough time on the mic but out of all of em if u asked me back in 2000 before it dropped who i wanted to have a track to himself it almost certainly would've been him i wouldve chose but who the hell I'm kiddin every one of these 10 MC's are amongst my favorite and greatest mcs of all time and there ain't enough of any of em on this album..but that's another thing that took me a while to realize that every Wu solo album is basically a group album with one mc headlining and sometimes co headlining like Cuban Linx and Iron Man, they albums was like in the comics where they all come together and then do they own thing but have some of the other members with them at times...and despite the runtime its undeniably a classic and Wu the greatest group in hip hop ever and in pieces all of em are among the greats and also i love the storyline they got running thru the videos on this album with Bokeem Woodbine, one of my favorite underappreciated actors that seems to know damn near every rapper from the 90s at least ...i remember first seeing Protect Ya Neck(The Jump Off) and thinking he was LL
Interesting. I love Chrono Trigger and "The W' although I played Chrono Trigger when it was new and I don't think there is any popular music that reminds me of it. On the same topic, I was listening to Tupac's "All Eyez on Me" a lot the first time I played Final Fantasy X, and now every time I hear any track off that album it reminds me of FFX.
@@1ofthewizards330 i knew i wasn't the only one where music bring back memories from videogames...i had Chrono Trigger in 95 on my SNES but my cousin took it one time without asking and then lost it and i was mad AF i was at the part where they fight Magus in the middle ages and i didn't end up finally beating it til early 2001 on my computer..I'm with u on that as far as no music really reminding me of it when I was first played it cuz the soundtrack is so amazing i wouldn't listen to anything else while playing it..i was mainly playing the W during the part i had played up to in 95 but once i got past it i had to hear what else the soundtrack had to offer...one of the greatest games ever man i got it on my phone now with a ton of other classics..thinking back to the 90s being broke as shit as a kid and poor where one game cost $50 with some of em going as high as $70(like $140 in today's money) there's no way I'd ever believe in the future we'd be able to download a game in seconds for free and play it anywhere..sorry to yap but i need a time machine for real bruh...oh and final fantasy X ..Stillmatic and Californication always remind me of it
