Until I started watching the music videos, Listening to more of the albums & Watching the Show
I am not sure I have ever heard someone ride a beat the way that Deck does on this track. Every syllable is hitting perfectly with it, and he has a descending syllable on every lower beat and an ascending syllable on every rising. Utterly incredible

The W took a little while to grow on me back in 2000 but it didn't take long to become my favorite Wu album...at times Forever & 36 chambers takes it's place, Iron Flag is amazing too and I had a similar experience with 8 Diagrams as it took a little while to grow on me but right now in April 2022 I'm back in W mode...this album always reminds me of Chrono Trigger i remember i use to bump this playing Chrono Trigger on my computer.. especially this track and Redbull(especially Redbull reminds me of the post apocalyptic future in CT) so many memories man..My only issue is I wish this album was longer but it's straight to the point with no excess and also I wish there was more ODB and more Masta Killa I love that dude, almost unbelievable to this day my man got One Blood to himself i had to rewind it the first time i heard it cuz with the runtime i figured MK wouldnt get enough time on the mic but out of all of em if u asked me back in 2000 before it dropped who i wanted to have a track to himself it almost certainly would've been him i wouldve chose but who the hell I'm kiddin every one of these 10 MC's are amongst my favorite and greatest mcs of all time and there ain't enough of any of em on this album..but that's another thing that took me a while to realize that every Wu solo album is basically a group album with one mc headlining and sometimes co headlining like Cuban Linx and Iron Man, they albums was like in the comics where they all come together and then do they own thing but have some of the other members with them at times...and despite the runtime its undeniably a classic and Wu the greatest group in hip hop ever and in pieces all of em are among the greats and also i love the storyline they got running thru the videos on this album with Bokeem Woodbine, one of my favorite underappreciated actors that seems to know damn near every rapper from the 90s at least ...i remember first seeing Protect Ya Neck(The Jump Off) and thinking he was LL
Interesting. I love Chrono Trigger and "The W' although I played Chrono Trigger when it was new and I don't think there is any popular music that reminds me of it. On the same topic, I was listening to Tupac's "All Eyez on Me" a lot the first time I played Final Fantasy X, and now every time I hear any track off that album it reminds me of FFX.

The W took a little while to grow on me back in 2000 but it didn't take long to become my favorite Wu album...at times Forever & 36 chambers takes it's place, Iron Flag is amazing too and I had a similar experience with 8 Diagrams as it took a little while to grow on me but right now in April 2022 I'm back in W mode...this album always reminds me of Chrono Trigger i remember i use to bump this playing Chrono Trigger on my computer.. especially this track and Redbull(especially Redbull reminds me of the post apocalyptic future in CT) so many memories man..My only issue is I wish this album was longer but it's straight to the point with no excess and also I wish there was more ODB and more Masta Killa I love that dude, almost unbelievable to this day my man got One Blood to himself i had to rewind it the first time i heard it cuz with the runtime i figured MK wouldnt get enough time on the mic but out of all of em if u asked me back in 2000 before it dropped who i wanted to have a track to himself it almost certainly would've been him i wouldve chose but who the hell I'm kiddin every one of these 10 MC's are amongst my favorite and greatest mcs of all time and there ain't enough of any of em on this album..but that's another thing that took me a while to realize that every Wu solo album is basically a group album with one mc headlining and sometimes co headlining like Cuban Linx and Iron Man, they albums was like in the comics where they all come together and then do they own thing but have some of the other members with them at times...and despite the runtime its undeniably a classic and Wu the greatest group in hip hop ever and in pieces all of em are among the greats and also i love the storyline they got running thru the videos on this album with Bokeem Woodbine, one of my favorite underappreciated actors that seems to know damn near every rapper from the 90s at least ...i remember first seeing Protect Ya Neck(The Jump Off) and thinking he was LL
Interesting. I love Chrono Trigger and "The W' although I played Chrono Trigger when it was new and I don't think there is any popular music that reminds me of it. On the same topic, I was listening to Tupac's "All Eyez on Me" a lot the first time I played Final Fantasy X, and now every time I hear any track off that album it reminds me of FFX.
@@1ofthewizards330 i knew i wasn't the only one where music bring back memories from videogames...i had Chrono Trigger in 95 on my SNES but my cousin took it one time without asking and then lost it and i was mad AF i was at the part where they fight Magus in the middle ages and i didn't end up finally beating it til early 2001 on my computer..I'm with u on that as far as no music really reminding me of it when I was first played it cuz the soundtrack is so amazing i wouldn't listen to anything else while playing it..i was mainly playing the W during the part i had played up to in 95 but once i got past it i had to hear what else the soundtrack had to offer...one of the greatest games ever man i got it on my phone now with a ton of other classics..thinking back to the 90s being broke as shit as a kid and poor where one game cost $50 with some of em going as high as $70(like $140 in today's money) there's no way I'd ever believe in the future we'd be able to download a game in seconds for free and play it anywhere..sorry to yap but i need a time machine for real bruh...oh and final fantasy X ..Stillmatic and Californication always remind me of it
