Greetings from Mexico where its called Montero. Lovely setup you got there. I just bought a 2016 Montero Limited had only 81k on the odometer. Taking it for its first road trip up north to the States.
Enjoyed your video Bec. We look forward to following your adventures. Love the car, we have a 2015 identical colour. They're an awesome car and perfect in size for setting up as you have. We did the Gibb River road this year in ours without any issues. Thanks for posting.
Greetings from South Africa love this vid, I have 2 pajeros, I've kitted the older one, but after seeing your vid I think kitting the newer one (gen 4) isn't that bad! thanks for an awesome vid, not much great vids about the gen 4's out there!
Great video and really nice car. I am now considering one of these for touring as I think its very underrated. I like the NP version but will follow your videos to get ideas because there isn't much difference in measurements I think. Is yours a diesel or the petrol version?
Fantastic video Beck. I am just starting to equip my MY18 Pajero for Touring around Aus. Your video shows all that is required for touring. With the items in the roof (Roof top tent, Roof rack, Awning and shower tank) would it exceed the maximum roof load?
I believe the factory rails are rated at 100kg. I’ve taken these out and replaced them with a metal footed tracks, bolted to the aluminium flat rack. Which is a greater rating then the factory rails. I have about 100kg up there, done about 20000km, over some fairly rough roads and haven’t had a problem!
It’s got a much better throttle response and control (takes away the lag). It makes 4WD’ing a lot easier as you can adjust it, depending on the terrain. Honestly recommend it for any Pajero!
Great video, I have a similar setup on my 2013 Pajero with the same awning, just keep in mind it has a roof limit of 100kg so with your rack, tent and awning you will already be over so keep that in mind for insurance purposes and if you decide to take it off road 👍
What's your fuel economy with the hard shell rooftop tent? I'm averaging 12.5l/100 with a fold out rooftop tent on my 2012 Pajero. Considering upgrading to a hard shell for ease of set up and pack up.
I usually average around 10.5l/100 in the country, sometimes it gets as low as 9l/100 depending on the wind. Highest I’ve ever gotten is 11.6/100 👌 highly recommend takes 2mins to pack up and makes a difference when camping
I actually got mine off Facebook marketplace, but you can find stocks lists here smartbar.com.au/vehicles/mitsubishi/pajero-ns-nt-nw-11-06-08-14/ or purchase here www.fitmy4wd.com.au/front-bull-bars-nudge-bars/smartbar-mitsubishi-pajero-ns-nt-nw-2008-2014-2983.html

Well done, Beck. Nice Pajero set up. (Wish I had kept my NS Pajero) Look forward to seeing more of your videos and adventures.
You have a legit setup! Great job on it.
The awning is massive 😮

Top walkthrough of the Pajero! I'm currently in the process of building my 2002 NM Pajero into a touring rig
keep posting, love the setup.

Thank you great video. Enjoy your Pajero
Awesome rig! Cannot wait to see it in action.
Nice to see a Pajero set up for overlanding. Tell us how's the suspension set up between a daily driver and when loaded?
Very good! When it’s unloaded it’s just a bit stiffer in the back otherwise no problems
Love the Pajero great set up
Love this bec!

They are really good cars! I have a diesel, I recommend these as they have great fuel economy. Make sure you install a catch can if you get a diesel.
Wowwww !! Amazing
Video of shower construction would be appreciated please Becks.
Will make a video when I get back off the road in a few weeks!
Hey Beck it looks like you are well over the 100kg roof load limit. This can cause insurance claims to get knocked back or defect your car
Thankyou for letting me know! I've recently made changes to the set up :)

She’s gorgeous!
Hi Beck...Lovely Video! May i know the size of the tyres? are those 265/65 R17?
Yes they are 265/65 R17 👌
Just noticed you had an idrive unit how well does it work on the Pagero, I also have a Pajero and considering installing one. Regards Lloyd

@@TREKwithBECK Thanks, looks like I'll need to upgrade the factory roof rails to a backbone to take the weight.
My v6 3.8 2012 averages between 13.5 - 15.5 without roof, and 18.5-21L/100km with the roof tent 🤦♂️
Nice car👍👍👍
Thank you!
Hi Bec, from where can i get that bullbar , cant find it online

Do you do anything with the space for the 3rd row seats?
I’ve made modifications since this video. I now have a air compressor/tank and a lithium battery mounted in the floor space
Tire size?
hello, how long is the tenda 270’ closed?
If you are talking about the awning it’s roughly 2.2metres long packed up 😊
@@TREKwithBECK I'm setting up a Pajero similar to yours, I got a 2.5 m awning, I hope it goes well .. greetings from Italy😄
