- The full tutorial video (1 hour) + the pattern for both flowers can be found on my online shop here: www.etsy.com/M...
In this video, I'm showing a quick overview of how I created these embroidered Anemone flowers and leaves using stumpwork embroidery techniques.
You can use these flowers for display, put them a vase, or turn them into jewelery and hair accessories.
I'm using organza fabric and DMC Stranded Cotton floss. The embroidery includes Long and short stitches, a few other stitches, and wired fabric slips used to create the 3D flowers using the wire wrapping technique.

Hi! What kind of wire are you using?
Разбавить цвета нужно было. Переход слишком яркий
Hi could you tell me where did you buy the flowers from? Can’t find anyone in my city who sells these
Whew !!!! You have the patience of a Saint!! It must take hours to complete something like this. It is beautiful. Blessings
Such stunning work! You could probably work as a specialist for an haute couture house like Dior or Chanel, beautiful. Was happy to see we have the same scissors 🥰
You’re too sweet.. thank you for the lovely comment! And yes, the cutest scissors!😍
Hey what is that golden thing you used in between the flower
Gold floss from DMC
Whaouuu!!!!! C'est tellement bien fait !!!!! Ça peut faire une broche magnifique !! 👏👏👏🙏❤️
Que lindeza!! Parabéns.
Amazingly beautiful, thanks for sharing
Could this be done with tambour?
This is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen! Do you have any suggestions for someone just starting?
Thank you :) I would say start with learning the basic embroidery stitches, if you’re not already familiar with them, and more specifically the “long & short” stitch.
Thank you for the tip!!
I fell in love with this great flower ❤
I am going to try a project using stump work and had planned to use linen cloth to embroider on. Is there an advantage to using the organza instead? Thanks so much for your videos and Etsy shop!
Since organza is thinner/lighter, for me that makes it easier to bend and shape and there’s less chances of it creating bumps under the stitches. It’s also easier to hide the fabric edges after cutting out the pieces.
Nice beautiful
What type of floss/thread are you using? I'm new to this, your work is beautiful!
Thank you! I used cotton floss 🙂
Amazing 👌 I 😍 it

Do you give classes for this??
I have the full tutorial with the pattern on my Etsy shop. You can find the link in the video description.
