omg, she has a constant smile on her face, she's just so happy to be clean and have a full belly and friends and safety and shelter. she doesn't have a single other care in the world, she's blissed out of her mind lol

These microchips gets power from the tissue.
Microchips are only good if you are close to the animal. For dogs even GPS collars work great. I'd love to find a tracking device that works great for cats though.
That's assuming she traveled. That's a lot of desert for a dog alone. Chances are the aunt gave or sold the dog to someone. I would say maybe the dog had been stolen, but no one seems concerned she was gone.

That is true but if you are gone too much away from your pet and you cant take care of them anymore, you might have to make the decision of giving them to a better family who can take care of them. Dogs need a lit of walks and love.

I'm a doctor and I rescue animals too... Work six days a week... But I would NEVER give up on my adopted furry kids ever. They're my world. I don't understand excuses about giving up on elderly family members, furry kids or children. I'd slog hard to give them a good life. Praying that Brie and her bestie get adopted together. Thanks to Hope for Paws and many rescuers worldwide... This world needs more of such wonderful people 😊😊😊
I would never give up on my babies. Even though I've been overwhelmed w my own, my rescues n the strays I try to help. I could never just leave a dog at a rescue or with someone unless I really trusted them. I became chronically ill yrs ago n it still wouldn't be an excuse for me. Sometimes its physically, mentally n financially hard but there's always a way. It's unbelievable how some ppl easily give up on these precious animals.

How anyone could “give” her away is beyond me. She’s such a sweetie.
The original owner had to work longer hours so gave her away, which is a wise decision as no dog should be alone most of the day, however she didn't find a good enough home, the auntie clearly couldn't cope. It even says at the end that they are not on speaking terms, so surely anyone would've been better. The original owner messed up, although she did it for good reasons.
Designer dog that some one paid $1500 bucks for and didn't know the breed super high energy and any bull breed needs firm consistent training and a lot of exercise, just like people that get Husky's and live in an apartments.....
When I was born, my parents had a dog and two cats. The dog loved my brother and I, thought we were her puppies, but I turned out to be badly allergic to them and developed severe asthma, so the animals were rehomed with my grandmother. We visited as often as we could, and Charlie (the dog) never forgot us. It's only years later that I realised how much of a wrench it must have been for my father to give away his dog.
My BiL adopted a beagle from the local pound and named him Malcolm. They absolutely adored one another, though BiL's circumstances changed and he couldn't spend as much time with Malcolm as he wanted. When he needed to move states, BiL left Malcolm with my family for two weeks, because we had dogs already and Malcolm got on well with them. Then BiL's dog-friendly apartment in the new state fell through. BiL decided that since Malcolm was doing well with our dogs, and because the dog-friendly apartment was no longer available, Malcolm should just stay with us.
It happens. Life circumstances change. It's heartbreaking at the time, but sometimes it's the best option.
No mystery. Those degenerate people just dropped her somewhere far from home. I truly hope something horrible happens to them. I wish I could have a sweet dog like that.

The original owner apparently gave up Brie for the dog's good. She was away from home for too many hours at a time.

Thank the Lord, she has been saved. Thanks to the person that called, Hope for Paws & thanks to HFP for rescuing her. I pray she gets a loving furrever home soon. She deserves the best. 400 mi. was a journey, thankfully it ended in happiness for her. adventure

Like Judge Judy says you can't make concrete statements with no proof! My friends dog somehow traveled across the country after escaping. A new family had kept her for a while. The dog was micro-chipped, so it's pointless dropping her far from home. They could've dropped her at a shelter, why waste that much gas?!! Who knows what happened. It sounds more like the aunt didn't want to travel 300 miles to get that dog back as it kept escaping anyway. Some people take on a dog from pressure, such as in this case. The original owner had to work longer hours. Instead of leaving the dog with someone not able to take care of it, it was her duty to find a better home or take her to a shelter herself.
Too obvious. They didn't want her back when they were contacted. Already had been dumped on the aunt.

I think hitchhikers, drifters, truck drivers and “Hobo” people took care of Brie before she settled to Los Angeles.
Greatest hero for those strangers bought this doggy to the area. I know it’s mystery but she is so lucky to be alive.

She never gave the dog to her aunt, if she even exists.

If I had the money I would adopt any dog who likes cats in a heart ❤️ beat. I think l have watched Hope For Paws videos so many times.
That some of them made me cry and some have made me smile. I know that some people who are reading this have said (SPCA), l did and my cat dye in less then 4 yrs. So now I reduced a cat from my veterinarian about 6 1/2 yrs ago, but l would love to have a dog also. 🇨🇦🇮🇱❤️
There's many dogs that get along with cats. I rescued two cats n brought them home just like that. My dogs adjusted to them in a matter of a few months. They'd bark at them at first n cats would get scared n try to scratch but you gotta stay calm. They will get used to each other. Although my dogs still bark at the stray cats I feed outside. They know cats inside are family. One cat even rubs up n kisses one of my doggies on the nose. Good luck😍
It is very possible. I introduced my adult cat, who had never lived with dogs, and my new rescued not so little 6 months old husky X German shepherd puppy, and first he approached the newcomer, cautiously, and he timidly half raised a warning paw (no nails, never nails; he had them all but didn't seem to know how, or why to really use them on anyone else. Weird sweet baby...). The pup was being as cautious as she could with all her energy and friendliness to repress... until she saw the cat's raised hand, and she obviously said "Oh yess yes yes, finally, hello you too! I'm so excited to meet you!!" by friendly raising her own giant paw towards him! 😱😅
Poor kitty run to a closet and barely went out the next two days or so.
But in a week time they were getting along and eventually playing, and in fact he was a big help to educate that pup and then the next bigger one, when he was an oldie.
I miss that gentle soul so much...
Breaks my heart seeing how disposable some people treat their animals!! They're family!! Not some undesirable piece of garbage..

and yet - depressingly - no laws in place to stop the woman or her aunt ever owning a pet again...we got laws that says you can't shoot a criminal in your own home unless 12 people sitting in a comfortable box in court would consider your life to be at risk - but these fucknuts in Vegas will get to own and abandon as many pets as they like....

If I knew someone found my lost dog,I would leave everything that I was doing and rush...and not give permission to find new owners...If someone was truly concerned about their pet, they would worry if someone else would treat the pet the same way as they did or not...I'm glad that these people didn't come back into her life...Hope for paws might not be able to help her again if she gets abandoned or abused... She's better off without those previous sick owners

Why waste gas on a 600 mile round trip when she could have just gifted her / given her to a shelter. Dogs escape and they can walk long distances too you know!

They are not a vicious breed. Far from it, in fact. They are one of the sweetest and most affectionate breeds there are. They get a bad rap because of the "bull" in their name.

After watching other rescue channels,, I've found out that this breed of dogs are very people friendly. Just the kind of dog for a nice family.
