Here I am retelling Sand and Stone, which was told by Hala Munther Salem in Ga2a, with a very appreciative audience at The Sidmouth Folk Festival yesterday.

It's a beautiful short tale full of deep wisdom which Hala learned from her grandmother. Hala is a brilliant and prolific Young International Storyteller from Ga2a.
It was a miracle that Hala, 18, and her sister Shatha, 19, could join us - it was the first live set of stories told from Ga2a for many months👏🕯️.
